Raiden and Finn clearly understood what Mira ant.

Lionel’s death had to have a reasonable explanation. It couldn’t be tied to George.

Raiden quickly said, "We were surrounded by Obsidian Wraiths. Lionel tried to protect us, and that’s how he died."

"Yeah. I’ll report it honestly to the higher-ups," Finn quickly added.

They all knew that Mira was trying to get close to George.

Plus, they didn’t like Lionel. He used his family’s power in the Frost Alliance to act like a bully. He was dead, and it probably wouldn’t matter to the higher-ups.

Mira nodded in satisfaction. She looked at George and asked cautiously, "This tunnel leads to the second layer of the Obsidian Shrine. There are 50-level Obsidian Wraiths in there. Do you think you can handle them?"

They had tried the second layer before, but they couldn’t beat the Wraiths. They had to retreat.

"Let’s try," George said.

Fifty-level monsters. Even without summoning Constantine and the others, George could handle them.

But he didn’t want to show off too much. Mira and the others didn’t seem to have any bad intentions toward him, especially Raiden. If he killed any of them, it would feel bad. It was better if they gave up and left the shrine on their own.

"I’ll lead the way," Raiden stepped forward. Now he was the only lee class left. At least George’s Golden Fla Dragon was right behind him, which gave him a little more confidence.

The tunnel was deep and dark. Soon, they passed through and found themselves in an open area. It was still a plain, but the space was much bigger. There were more Obsidian Wraiths here, all at level 50.

This ti, they didn’t dare to leave the tunnel.

Raiden looked at the Wraiths wandering in the distance and bit his lip. "I’ll try to draw them one by one and kill them all."

Mira looked at George. When she saw he didn’t object, she nodded.

Raiden carefully stepped out of the tunnel. The mont he appeared, three Obsidian Wraiths noticed him.

"Roar!"

They howled and charged. The ground trembled slightly.

Raiden jumped back in fear and retreated into the tunnel, standing at the entrance.

George swung his staff, and a bunch of ice arrows shot out.

Plop, plop!

The arrows hit the Wraiths, breaking apart. A cold wind spread, freezing them instantly.

Crack, crack!

But just for a second, the ice shattered. The Wraiths roared and charged forward, even more angry.

"It won’t work. These Wraiths are level 50. I can’t hold them back," George said honestly. His Frost Mage class was still only level 49. Even if he reached level 50, it might not be enough to freeze them.

"Try to hold the entrance. Fight as hard as you can," Mira said, biting her lip. She didn’t want to retreat.

Only by killing the boss of the second layer could they get the Crafted Relic.

The Golden Fla Dragon and Raiden stood at the tunnel entrance. George and the others attacked from the back.

Spells flew, arrows shot.

After a long ti, they finally killed one Obsidian Wraith.

But the noise attracted more Wraiths. They surrounded the tunnel exit.

At least the Golden Fla Dragon was strong enough to hold them off.

But the Wraiths turned their attention to the tunnel walls.

The whole tunnel shook. Large rocks fell from above.

Mira and the others were terrified. If the tunnel collapsed, they would all die.

"It won’t work like this. We have to break out," Finn said, scared, dodging falling rocks.

"Breaking out is also death. These Obsidian Wraiths are all level 50. We can’t hold them off," Raiden said, under a lot of pressure. He had backed up behind the Golden Fla Dragon.

Mira looked at the Obsidian Wraiths coming in from far away. She didn’t want to give up. She looked at George and asked, "Can you use that fire magic again?"

"No, that spell uses too much magic. I won’t be able to recover for a while," George said honestly. The Forbidden Spell used 100% of his magic. He had only recovered a few percent.

If he didn’t believe in the Golden Fla Dragon’s strength, he wouldn’t have taken the risk.

"Then can the Golden Fla Dragon carry us up into the air?" Mira noticed that the Obsidian Wraiths couldn’t fly. They could only attack up close. If they were in the air, they wouldn’t have to worry about anything.

Raiden and the others brightened up.

George shook his head. "No, the Golden Fla Dragon can only carry two people."

Mira frowned. She knew George was lying.

Just after they passed through the flas, the Golden Fla Dragon had easily lifted her and Finn. Carrying four people into the air was definitely not a problem.

But it was George’s pet. She didn’t dare to question him.

In fact, the Golden Fla Dragon was hiding his strength. His real body was over ten feet long. Carrying four people or even dozens was no problem.

George just didn’t want to help them.

"Leader, if we can’t do anything, we should give up. If we keep going, the tunnel will collapse," Raiden, who was already injured, said from behind the Golden Fla Dragon.

Finn also nodded. "We already know their weakness. Let’s prepare and co back later."

"Okay, then we’ll retreat first," Mira also knew they weren’t strong enough to beat the Wraiths.

George was happy inside. He said, "You all go back first. I want to try again. With the Golden Fla Dragon, there’s no danger. Oh, by the way, give the shrine pass."

This was a hidden shrine. Only those with a shrine pass could open it and move freely.

"This..." Mira hesitated. She didn’t trust George.

"Relax, I won’t get hurt. With the Golden Fla Dragon, I can fly straight up into the air," George explained.

Mira had no words. She wasn’t worried about George’s safety, but she was afraid he would die here and lose the shrine pass.

"Leader, don’t hesitate. The tunnel is collapsing," Raiden urged. The narrow tunnel kept dropping rocks. There was almost no space to dodge.

Mira hesitated, then nodded and threw the shrine pass to George. She said, "Don’t be reckless. If you’re in danger, leave right away."

"Relax, I won’t take any risks," George smiled slightly. He helped them open the shrine passage.

"We’ll wait outside," the others said, and their figures disappeared, leaving the shrine.

"Finally, they’re gone," George sighed. He jumped onto the Golden Fla Dragon’s back and said, "Break through!"

"Roar!" The Golden Fla Dragon let out a loud dragon cry, its body grew bigger. With a strong tail, it swept away over a dozen Obsidian Wraiths blocking the tunnel exit, then flew into the sky.

"Master, can we kill them all now?" It looked down at the Wraiths, excited.

"No hurry. Summon Constantine and the others," George thought, and called out Constantine and the others.

A surge of spatial energy, and a few massive figures appeared.

"Your Majesty, you finally rembered ," Constantine nearly fell from the sky. He quickly spread his wings, looked around, and said excitedly.

George didn’t even bother to respond. He just ordered, "Quick work. Kill all the monsters here."

"Leave it to us," Constantine said, holding his war hamr. He charged straight into the group of Obsidian Wraiths.

Elise and Eliex didn’t back down either. Powerful magic flew through the air, and the Wraiths were crushed almost completely.

George sat comfortably on the back of the Golden Fla Dragon, with Lilia protecting him. He looked calm and relaxed.

...

Outside the shrine, a flash of light. Mira and her two others appeared.

Ares and Orion were already waiting. They stepped forward imdiately.

"Only the three of you? Where’s George and Lionel?" Orion frowned when he saw only three of them.

Ares was also worried, but he knew George’s strength. If these three ca out safely, George should be fine.

Mira looked at the two n beside her and said, "Sir, Lionel died in the shrine. George is fine. He wants to keep exploring. We can’t fight the Obsidian Wraiths, so we left first."

"Lionel is dead?" Orion was shocked. He frowned. "What happened?"

The three had already agreed on their story. They all said he was killed by the Obsidian Wraiths.

Orion’s eyes darkened. He looked at Ares and said, "Ares old man, seems like that kid you brought has so real power."

"Young people are always full of confidence. A little pain will teach them to be careful," Ares smiled, not worried about George at all.

Orion wasn’t happy. He looked at Mira and said, "Co here with ."

"Yes," Mira said politely, and the two walked away.

"Mira, tell the truth. How did Lionel really die?" Orion’s voice was firm, his eyes full of authority.

Mira didn’t show any fear. She said, "Sir, Lionel brought too many monsters at once. He was surrounded by over a dozen Obsidian Wraiths. We tried to save him, but it was too late. We couldn’t even find his body."

"Is that so?"

Orion looked deeply into Mira’s calm face. After a long silence, he said, "That guy was always arrogant. He had it coming. You all are safe, that’s good."

Mira knew Orion still had doubts, so she whispered, "Sir, should we bla George for Lionel’s death? It could start a fight between Lionel’s family and the Human Federation."

"Not useful. Lionel’s family isn’t a match. We might get dragged in. If the higher-ups ask, just tell the truth." Orion didn’t say more. He didn’t care about Lionel’s life at all.

Mira finally felt at ease. She knew this was now officially covered up.

Even if Lionel’s family wanted revenge later, they would go after George or the Human Federation. It wouldn’t touch her.

"By the way, that George is hiding his power?" Orion thought about George, who hadn’t co out yet. He asked curiously.

"I guess so." Mira nodded, giving her guess, "He has two classes. His second class is probably sothing like a Summoner or a Dragonlord. He summoned a powerful Golden Fla Dragon."
