George followed right behind, retreating into the tunnel.

At that mont, a dark figure suddenly rushed forward and almost knocked him down.

It was the black dragon.

"Lionel, what are you doing?" Mira asked, clearly upset.

None of them liked George, but it wasn’t the ti to attack.

"Sorry, this guy didn’t an to," Lionel smiled, kicked the dragon beside him, and showed no real regret.

"Get into the tunnel now," Mira urged. More than ten Obsidian Wraiths were already rushing in.

Lionel imdiately jumped onto the dragon’s back and flew ahead of George.

"George, follow ," Raiden gritted his teeth, holding his sword, and protected George as they retreated into the tunnel.

Roar!

Behind them, more than ten Obsidian Wraiths had already charged in.

"Raiden, don’t waste ti on this waste. You can’t hold them all!" Lionel shouted, but kept moving. If he and the dragon joined the fight, they could block the Wraiths for a mont, giving George just enough ti to get into the tunnel.

Raiden was angry but didn’t listen. He said, "George, I can block one hit from the Wraiths. Use this chance to run into the tunnel."

"What about you?" George didn’t move. He knew Raiden was already at his limit just blocking one hit.

"Don’t worry about ," Raiden’s body was surrounded by black magic. His eyes turned blood red. His power rose, and a huge black blade flew out behind him, cutting through the Obsidian Wraiths.

Boom!

A few Wraiths shook, stepped back, but quickly recovered, and kept coming.

"Go!" George didn’t leave him behind. He pulled Raiden and ran toward the tunnel behind them.

"Lionel, fight!" Mira saw the Wraiths chasing them and ordered.

Lionel sat on the dragon, blocking the narrow tunnel. He coldly watched the scene and ignored Mira’s words. He had no intention of helping.

It was over!

Raiden felt hopeless in his heart, but he didn’t regret it. His goal was to get the Crafted Relic. Without George’s help, none of them could have killed the boss here.

Whoosh! A few arrows and magic blasts flew, trying to stop the Wraiths, but it was useless.

A huge shadow ca down. Three Obsidian Wraiths had already attacked. Their huge fists ca down. The two of them couldn’t block it.

Raiden had given up.

Suddenly, a bright golden light flashed. Space trembled. A loud dragon cry echoed.

Boom boom...

The ground shook. One Wraith was knocked away. A huge golden Golden Fla Dragon rose into the air. Its big red eyes looked down, its power was strong and holy. People felt like they wanted to bow down in worship.

"The Golden Fla Dragon..." Lionel swallowed hard, looked up at the golden dragon, his eyes full of fire.

He was a Dragonlord. If he could control this golden dragon, his strength would definitely increase a lot.

Raiden sat on the Golden Fla Dragon’s back, trembling slightly. He was safe, but still couldn’t believe it.

"Bad!"

The ground shook. Lionel shouted in fear. In front of him, a dark mass ca—hundreds of Obsidian Wraiths were rushing in.

He felt a chill run down his spine. Without hesitation, he ran back into the tunnel.

At that mont, a golden light flashed. A huge dragon tail swept through the air.

Boom!

Lionel and the big black dragon were both sent flying, crashing to the ground hard.

"Damn it, you’re asking for death!" He looked up in anger at George, who was standing on top of the Golden Fla Dragon in the air. It was the dragon’s attack just now.

"Sorry, this guy didn’t an to," George said with a cold smile, rubbing the dragon’s head.

"Roar!"

The Golden Fla Dragon let out a proud cry, looking down at Lionel and the black dragon with disdain.

The dragon’s rank and bloodline completely overpowered the black dragon. It had no chance to fight back.

"Son of a bitch!" Lionel was furious. He knew perfectly well that George had done this on purpose.

At that mont, hundreds of Obsidian Wraiths roared and charged in. He didn’t have ti to think, jumped onto the black dragon’s back, and ran away.

"Lionel, stop right there!" Mira shouted in anger.

The tunnel entrance was wide open. They were all ranged classes. If the Wraiths ca in, they would all die.

But Lionel ignored her. He was only focused on running for his life.

The Golden Fla Dragon could easily block the Wraiths, but George didn’t let it fight.

"Hellfire burning deep in the underworld. By my na, I call you forth. Burn the enemies before you, purify all in the world..."

George chanted a long, complicated spell. It felt magical, and a powerful magical force gathered. The world around them filled with a destructive energy.

"The Purifying Fla!"

As George finished the last word, he swung his staff. A massive wave of fire spread out, covering the whole area.

In an instant, the ground below turned into a sea of fire, covering thousands of ters. The hundreds of Obsidian Wraiths and Lionel were all caught in the flas.

Roar, roar!

The Wraiths scread in pain, struggling in the fire. They couldn’t resist the dark red flas. Their tough bodies were burned and broken apart.

...

The notifications kept coming. One by one, the Wraiths were burned to death.

"Help! George, save ..." Lionel scread, dodging falling fire. Around him, endless flas were rising.

The black dragon howled, its scales burned away by the fire, and its flesh was burned raw.

George stood calmly on top of the Golden Fla Dragon, watching the scene coldly. He didn’t even consider helping.

"Damn it! George, you’ll die a bad death. If I die here, Frost Alliance won’t let you live!"

Lionel looked at the spreading flas, shouting and cursing. The whole area was a firestorm now, no way out. Fire rained from the sky, and even if he could fly, he couldn’t avoid it.

In an instant, he and the dragon were swallowed by the flas. His voice disappeared.

"This... is a Forbidden Spell?" Mira, hiding in the tunnel, felt her skin crawl.

If they were caught in the flas, they would all die.

Especially Mira. As an SSR-tier Infernal Lord mage, she could feel how strong the flas were. They were way beyond her ability to survive.

The screams of the Obsidian Wraiths slowly stopped. All of them in the area were completely burned to death.

But the flas still didn’t go out. Mira and Finn were stuck in the tunnel, unable to leave.

"Little brother, thanks for saving my life,"

Raiden finally realized what had just happened. He bowed deeply to George.

Just a mont ago, he truly thought he was going to die.

George just waved his hand carelessly and asked curiously, "We don’t have any history, right? Why did you risk your life to save ?"

Raiden sighed and said, "The Crafted Relic is useful to . I want to get one. Your ice magic can weaken those Obsidian Wraiths..."

He looked down at the burning flas, his voice bitter.

It seed like George wasn’t strong with ice magic but with fire magic.

But wasn’t his class a Frost Mage?

Dual-class Adventurer!

Raiden thought of sothing, but didn’t ask further. George was hiding his strength, clearly not wanting others to know.

"Do you know what the Crafted Relic does?"

George asked with curiosity.

Raiden shook his head and said, "I don’t know exactly. But my sister is seriously injured and dying. This thing can slow down her condition. Unfortunately, the last ti we explored a secret place, the Crafted Relic was given to Mira."

Slow the injury?

George was confused. He didn’t know what the Crafted Relic was for either.

He looked at the ssage on his screen and asked, "You said killing Obsidian Wraiths would drop the Crafted Relic. Why did I only get Obsidian Shards?"

He had killed hundreds of Obsidian Wraiths, but had not gotten a Crafted Relic.

These Obsidian Shards were S-tier materials, pretty high level, and could be used to forge weapons and armor.

Raiden explained, "Only the Obsidian Wraith boss drops the Crafted Relic. I think if you kill the boss, it won’t drop."

He looked around. The space was empty. No more Obsidian Wraiths.

Last ti, they barely survived to kill the boss here.

"So we can’t get the Crafted Relic at all?" George frowned.

He ca here for the Crafted Relic, not these shards.

Raiden pointed to the distance, where a hidden tunnel was, "This is just the first level of the Obsidian Shrine. The second level has more Obsidian Wraiths. Their level is 50, and there’s also a boss. But we’re not strong enough to beat them."

He looked at George. Even though the guy was powerful, he probably wasn’t a match for a 50-level Obsidian Wraith boss.

"George, can these flas not go out?" Mira’s voice ca from far away.

The group was stuck in the tunnel, surrounded by burning flas. They couldn’t take it and dared not step into the fire.

George looked at the tunnel leading to the second level of the Obsidian Shrine. He hesitated for a mont, then patted the Golden Fla Dragon and said, "Bring them over here."

"Roar!"

The Golden Fla Dragon roared, dropped George and Raiden in front of the second-level tunnel, then turned back to get Mira and Finn.

It didn’t put them on its back. Instead, it grabbed them with its claws, flew low over the flas, and dropped them on the ground.

The dragon clearly had a grudge against them for leaving George behind.

Mira and Finn fell to the ground, pale-faced, but dared not say a word.

"Thanks, George," Mira recovered and said. She looked at Raiden and Finn and said, "About what happened to Lionel, you know what to say."
