Brother Yin, with his head held high, exclaid, "What kind of ga do you want to use to challenge next? I fear nothing now!"
"The next ga will surely leave you at a loss for words, claiming it's very easy," Ye Feng confidently declared.
"So sure about it?" Brother Yin was taken aback. "Aren't your gas supposed to be simple, just requiring hands to play? Just practice if you're bad, as your gas are indeed very easy."
"Well, you all better be prepared," Ye Feng didn't reveal his plans, but he had already envisioned a ga that would question players' consciences.
Looking at war from a different angle, what choices will people make in desperate situations?
Though everyone claid his gas were very simple, even the clumsiest players could handle them easily.
"I don't believe it," Brother Yin shook his head instantly. What ga could be difficult for him?
The bullet comnts also expressed disbelief:
"The gods are angry with you!"
"Cursed to death, you lost 114514 cells."
"Giant: You're really hopeless, **!"
"Just practice if you're bad."
...
"Well then, I'll end it here for today. Three months from now, I hope you'll all greet our new ga with a smile," Ye Feng bid everyone farewell and ended the call with Brother Yin.
Brother Yin glanced at the popularity of his live stream and was surprised to see millions of viewers online for the entire night!
The online numbers in this world were genuine, with no falsification.
Normally, his live stream had tens of thousands of viewers at most.
With this, he had beco one of the top strears on the platform.
After all, not all strears could maintain a stable number of viewers every day.
"Everyone's here so quickly!" Brother Yin's eyebrows twitched in response.
"Now, I'll share so good news and bad news. The good news is that three months from now, we'll have a new ga to play."
"The bad news is that three months from now, we'll start a new round of suffering and tornt," he said with a peculiar expression.
Initially, he only wanted to prank more players to try the ga "Digging for Ascension." But unexpectedly, the designer took up the challenge and made the ga remarkably outstanding.
Regarding the ga's rating, there were two types: the classic nurical score and another survey-like feedback chanism unrelated to the rating.
Currently, "Digging for Ascension" and "Death Cell" both had scores above 9.0.
Under the gas' ratings, all reviews indicated "Very Easy" and were accompanied by high scores.
Incredulous players, lured by these reviews, downloaded the ga, but less than half an hour later, they ca out in misery, seeing the sea of "Very Easy" responses. They were utterly dumbfounded.
Guys, you've been tricked.
Is this really considered "Very Easy"?
Do you people have a conscience?
So of the reviewers were well-known ga critics, and so players downloaded the ga based on their reviews.
Every ti soone ntioned "difficulty," veteran players with big grins would step up.
"This is supposed to be difficult? Such a simple ga, just use your hands, practice if you're bad."
"Your princess is in another castle."
"Just practice more."
...
As the players progressed in the ga, the entire story unfolded gradually.
Upon reaching the ending, a sense of dark humor pervaded.
Everything was dead, destroyed. The elixir was gone, and the island was beyond salvation. Yet, the King's wish was fulfilled, no matter the cost.
Then, another "green and oily" King appeared, and history repeated itself.
The forr King had zealously mined red crystals, aiming to create the Philosopher's Stone. However, the cave contained not only red crystals but also monsters and toxins.
The King believed the alchemist's promise of immortality.
The alchemist directly used the red crystals on a corpse, but there was no reaction. In the end, the mixture of corpses and piles of wasted red crystals was dumped into the graveyard.
The complex mix of these corpses and red crystal residues infected the entire graveyard's plants, which then spread to the slumbering sanctuary, gradually perating into the sewers.
The seeds of the plague began to take root and sprout here.
At that ti, they didn't notice the issue and continued their research.
Experints on corpses proved futile, so they resorted to living subjects, using prisoners from the dungeon.
During the ga, players could learn the entire story through various fragnts. The protagonist found a note next to an experintal table.
"Using crystals on the bodies shows no effect so far, but I can't give up the experints!"
Beside the note was a transparent glass container with red and blue liquids bubbling, constantly reacting.
The island began giving birth to mutated creatures due to the waste of various live experints poured into the sewers.
The prisoners in the dungeon were fed with rats and crows infected with the plague, and visitors brought the virus back to Misty Harbor. The city was quickly plagued.
Now the plague had leaked from the prison. To contain it and hide the news of the King's pursuit of immortality, the King ordered all villagers who had visited the prison and those showing suspicious symptoms to be locked inside. Disobeying this order would result in extre punishnt.
Initially, villagers only buried the dead, but soon they had to battle the bodies.
On the throne, the King, once the hero of the island, chose to protect his own territory regardless of the lives of the people. Guards climbed the walls and were on high alert.
All this had no effect on controlling the plague, and the guards grew bored, finding ways to pass the ti.
For example, hanging up exhausted prisoners, or throwing a death-row inmate down and listening to their desperate screams.
The King had two powerful aides, the King's Hand and the Guardian Giant.
Though they disliked each other, both despised the alchemist.
The Giant had a strong sense of justice and repeatedly advised against ignoring the spread of the plague, but the King didn't pay him any attention. Eventually, the Giant led a revolt among the people, leading to the infamous Bloody Revolt Night.
That night, the sky was dyed red with blood and fire, and corpses were everywhere. The graveyard had no space left to bury them.
The corpses began to mutate, and the entire island spiraled out of control.
The King abandoned the prison and retreated to the mountaintop castle, watching the disintegration of the kingdom and the island turning into a hell filled with monsters.
The desperate King summoned the alchemist, hoping this mysterious figure could save the kingdom or perhaps save him.
The King had unwavering faith in the alchemist.
