Ever since the Runestone update was released, the FrostHaven account had beco quite popular, with dozens, if not hundreds of new ssages reaching every day.
Among these ssages, so were from Players thanking for the ga, others were from Players giving ideas on how the ga could be improved, others were from Players asking for other classes to be added to the ga.
There were even so news sites wanting to set up interviews with , but because I didn't feel the need at the mont, I just ignored them for the ti being and focused on continuing to develop so new ideas I had for the next update of the ga.
Two days after the release of Season 01, I received a strange ssage in the DM of my Whisper account.
[Hello FrostHaven, I'm very happy playing Runestone and I've almost reached the Diamond Rank in the ga!While I was in my daily physical training session in the ga [Sword Training against Giant Monsters] I realized that this ga was also using Battle Pass like in Runestone, was this sothing you agreed to share?]
Reading this ssage, I was surprised.
'Did this Ga Creator really blatantly copy my ga's Battle Pass?' I wondered.
Curious, I searched for this ga on the Federation Rank and saw that this ga was not small, having been in developnt for three years and having a total of 18,000 Players online, which for an ordinary training ga, was a great number.
But on the ga's initial sales page, what was most striking was that instead of the ga advertising the chanics it had for Players' training developnt, as it usually did, the focus of this page was to advertise their Battle Pass!
[Venture into [Sword Training against Gigantic Monsters] and unlock epic rewards!
Get ready for an incredible experience with daily challenges, exclusive rewards and lots of unlockable content. The Battle Pass is here to make your journey through the ga even more exciting.
What is the Battle Pass?
The Battle Pass brings you special missions and unique rewards that you can unlock as you play. With each level, you get exclusive weapon skins and aweso decorations to make you look even cooler as you slay the Giant Monsters!]
It was only after these three paragraphs above the ga description that Ga Creator began to advertise the ga and explain what it was really about.
Downloading the ga and trying to understand how it worked, I was shocked to realize that this Ga Creator even copied the quest board I used in Runestone, even if it didn't quite fit with getting stuck in a tree!
As the day went on, more and more ssages from Players warning about copies like this were arriving on my Whisper account.
But these ssages weren't just about this ga, but about several different gas!
And the worst thing about it was that so ssages from Players in other states were arriving too, which ant that other Ga Creators in other states were keeping an eye on Runestone and were ready to copy whatever was making the ga work.
And since I couldn't post the ga in their states yet, they would practically be the inventors of it...
Runestone's growth over the last two days has been monstrous, increasing the average number of players online by 35%, and the total number of players who have tried the ga by an even greater amount.
For a world where the vast majority of gas took years to reach this number of Players, or where only recent gas endorsed by big companies managed to reach this level, my ga was being a dark horse skyrocketing in popularity without depending on anyone.
Apparently the other Ga Creators also realized this and tried to start copying to achieve the sa result...
'What can I do to deal with this? ' I asked myself thoughtfully.
I didn't want to let it go without doing anything, so I needed to take action that would either affect them, or benefit greatly.
Copyright in this world was very strict, but after researching how it worked, I understood why so many gas in my other world used this ga chanic.
Because a ga chanic like the Battle Pass, while innovative overall, was just a different way of interpreting missions that Players could complete in order to receive rewards.
That in itself wasn't unique to the Battle Pass and couldn't be patented.
'It's frustrating to see other gas copying the functionality that I've worked hardest to plan and develop in this world...' I sighed as I looked at the list of gas that were copying non-stop.
'If I can't use the idea of Battle Pass exclusivity, at least I can use the idea of originality and create marketing around it, right?
For the ti being, these other gas were just starting to copy the ga, without the Players knowing very well how it worked and where it ca from, so I had to be quick.
Opening my DM box again, I started looking for all the news sites that had tried to contact and accepted interviews from the biggest sites.
While the vast majority of the sites weren't very big, there were so relatively large sites with a national reach that could be useful in helping spread the image I wanted to other states.
'Since I can't post my ga in other states, I at least have to find a way to let them know that this is my idea. I thought.
As the interviews would be online, I managed to organize all the interviews for tomorrow afternoon.
For the rest of the day I just kept observing the developnt of the gas that were copying my Battle Pass and realized that despite a much slower growth rate than Runestone, these gas were constantly growing.
'Player retention because of the Battle Pass is a very good thing for a ga, it was stupid to think that no one would copy sothing so important for a ga that in my other world was already proven to be copied by everyone.'Fortunately Runestone is also growing a lot, and at a much higher rate than these other gas.

The growth of the ga was great, with the amount of daily Mana the ga yielded almost reaching 1k.
With such rapid growth, it would only be a matter of days before Runestone's Ga Core evolved into a Ga Core E Rank!
The money the ga has made in the last two days has also been very good, increasing my total money saved to over $14k, bringing very close to being able to buy another Ga Core.
Normally other Ga Creators would only buy three or four F Rank Ga Creators before moving up to E Rank and starting to buy E Rank Ga Creators.
Considering how difficult it was to make popular F Rank gas and how much more profitable E Rank gas were, it was better for them to buy higher Rank Ga Cores and accelerate their own growth than to waste ti making lower Rank gas.
But that was a problem I wasn't worried about dealing with.
With innovative ga ideas from another world, I was confident of making the F Rank gas I developed popular to the point where Ga Cores would evolve.

The next day, as soon as I woke up, the first thing I did was put on a tracksuit and go for a run on the beach.
As my house was still empty and I had nothing to do, I decided to start exercising by the beach to clear my mind and not get bored at ho.
It's not even as if my body needed this exercise, I was just doing it to pass the ti and clear my mind a little from the amount of things I had to think about and plan for my gas.
At the end of each training session I would jump into the sea and enjoy the cold water to cool off by myself for a few minutes before heading ho.
Then I'd make my breakfast, organize the ss I'd made the day before at ho, and start my day with a tidy house.
It was easy to tidy up when I didn't have much to ss up in the first place, but setting this routine now would make it easier for when I had more furniture and things to ss up at ho hehe.
At 11am my first interview would start.
Surprisingly, the interviewer asked if the interview could be done through Runestone.
Despite my surprise at this strange request, I accepted and we logged into the ga and joined a temporary group, which ant that we both shared the sa tavern.
Wearing the sa clothes I had worn to go out with the college group to the nightclub, I was more dressed up than I normally was on a day-to-day basis, but as the clothes were cheap, I didn't look overdressed either.
The difference was that as it had been a few weeks since I last wore this outfit, my body had developed more muscle in that ti, which made the shirt I was wearing a little tight.
Before long, the interviewer logged on to the group and showed up at the tavern where I was waiting for her.
When she saw , her eyes lit up as she exclaid.
“I knew it!”
