Chapter 803: 789 Catastrophic Final Battle (8)

In the not-so-narrow weapon hold, the tall Borke officer slamd his palm heavily on the table.

“Are you actually afraid?”

All the crew mbers in the weapon hold shrank back slightly, not daring to rebut the officer; the two crew mbers who were also Borke were no different.

The Borke officer strode forward directly, pulling out his two compatriots without a shred of dignity.

“You two, do you rember how many people died when our mother planet was destroyed?”

A soldier, upon hearing this question, was first stunned, then his eyes reddened a bit and he said, “Eleven billion, three hundred and forty-three million, six hundred and fifty-six thousand, two hundred and eighty people.”

The Borke officer’s face flushed red, as if inflad by rage; the veins in his neck bulged as he roared, “Do you still rember how many Borke planets were destroyed?”

“Ninety-one…”

“Yes, the mother planet of eleven billion people, ninety-one administrative stars, the entire Borke civilization’s population was decimated by over ninety percent, and we, from the most proud civilization in this galaxy, have beco pathetic insects mired in grief and sorrow. Now, our enemies are right in front, and you’re still afraid?”

He nearly ground his steel teeth to dust, pointing upwards, pointing to those swarming Insectoids outside, shouting, “Those are our enemies, not just the Borke’s but the foes of many civilizations. Today, we have the opportunity here to end this galactic nightmare once and for all, and you’re afraid?”

A crew mber with a head like a giant bull bellowed out, “To hell with it, let’s obliterate these Insectoids and avenge our fallen brothers and sisters.”

“For revenge, for the galaxy!”

It was evident that the crew’s fighting spirit had been roused. They were not novices on the battlefield, and even in their previous civilization, they were the finest warriors. Courage was never sothing they lacked; after so hesitation, they reembraced their mission.

“For the United Empire!”

Soone finally added this phrase, and it was clear that when it was spoken, there was a mont of bewildernt among them, including the Borke officer. However, they then solemnly and resolutely shouted, “For the United Empire.”

Regardless of their mindset or aim, their civilization has joined the Iridium Star United Empire. Whatever they thought of the new galactic overlord at this mont, they were undoubted a part of the Iridium Star United Empire and were representing Iridium Star in battle.

On the various warships of the Unified Empire Army, a similar scene was unfolding. Regardless of civilization origins or levels, at this mont of joining the United Empire and choosing to fight for Iridium Star, they were under the watchful eyes of nearly all galaxy residents and shouldering the responsibility to uphold galactic peace and stability.

So soldiers had never thought of it this way before, but now they were filled with pride because they were warriors defending the galaxy, and no matter how nurous or fierce the Insectoids were, they would fight to prevent further planetary destruction.

This resolve perated almost every officer and soldier of the Unified Empire Army, revitalizing their spirit. Whether sitting at combat stations filled with various instrunts or standing in the power hold or weapon hold, their hands beca steady and powerful, with eyes gleaming with determination and composure.

A soldier should be proud, for there is nothing more dazzling than their glory when fighting and even sacrificing for a noble cause.

Similarly, Bai Zhongqi noticed a slight hesitance among the Iridium Star troops. In comparison to the Unified Empire Army, who had a more visceral pain facing the swarm and were inspired by vengeance or mission, Iridium Star people could be rallied with a more direct approach.

Bai Zhongqi projected his holographic image in front of each Iridium Star officer and soldier. In the hologram, Bai Zhongqi stood tall, handso, with a key calm and composed expression, showing no signs of anxiety or fear, nor did he seem particularly excited.

“Everyone, you have arrived at an epic battle that will be rembered for hundreds of billions of years in galactic history. There is no path of failure for us, and Iridium Star will never be defeated. The ultimate victor will always be us. Please lend your power to , to your United Empire, and let us defeat the swarm together.”

He finally extended his hand, palm upwards, as if holding sothing, his eyes glowing brightly: “After this battle, the galaxy will be ours!”

“Dominating the galaxy, it boils down to this!”

The fighting spirit of the Iridium Star people was fully ignited; they revered martial prowess and the pursuit of strength. Even if they followed Bai Zhongqi into battle and suffered heavy losses, they would never resent the chancellor for leading them into a war. They always pondered how to beco stronger and crush their enemies.

If Iridium Star people had a destiny belief, it would surely be to dominate the galaxy or even the universe.

Countless young Iridium Star lads, during their youth, fantasized about such a scenario: dancing with the Knight of Destiny and creating everlasting feats under the command of the Iridium Star Chancellor. And today, they were closer than ever to that dream.

Facing the swarm of hundreds of billions, over a million United Empire warships launched a fierce attack on the Insectoids. anwhile, Bai Zhongqi also dispatched all the Blade Legion fleets and all the Imperial Guard Fleet, along with a billion Valkyries, to join in.

“On the battlefield, who has the greater might is yet to be determined.” Bai Zhongqi’s confidence was overwhelming. This was going to be a brutal lee, and regardless of the cost, Bai Zhongqi would persist in the fight.

In the command ship of the Unified Empire Army, Commander Lv Zhinian watched the Unified Empire forces converge on the swarm from three sides and couldn’t help but exclaim, “Is this truly the greatest army never before seen in galactic history? Over three million warships, plus over a billion Valkyries—it seems my room for display is not that vast.”

Though he said that, the First Divine General’s capabilities were unassailable. Before the war broke out, Lv Zhinian collaborated with the Unified Empire Army’s generals and staff to program the army’s battle model. How to deploy warships, allocate firepower, and strike the opponent’s weak spots were all established strategies in this war. So every tactic was essentially a program model with countless tiny parater changes. Lv Zhinian brought his combat strategy to the Unified Empire Army.

This combat strategy sowhat resembled frequent transition tactics, except Lv Zhinian’s style was more aggressive. He continually mobilized transitioning warships to slice through the swarm’s formation, preventing it from fully rallying its force, all the while allowing his allies to swiftly devour the swarm.
