Four Teizene escort ships tightly enveloped a fleet of up to ten Teizene rchant ships in a square formation, each of these rchant vessels being incredibly large, with a length of up to 10 kiloters. However, despite their massive size, these cargo ships did not possess high technological content.
Unlike the Iridium Star people, who would equip their rchant ships with individual warp engines, these rchant ships did not even have warp devices. They entered warp speed by relying wholly on the four Teizene escort ships that connected and ford an oversized warp bubble, enveloping the cargo ships within it.
This also represented a significant technological gap—for the people of Iridium Star, equipping a rchant ship with a warp engine was not a big deal, but for the Teizene, it was clearly not economically viable.
The crew on the Teizene escort ships reported to Ji ilas, "We are ready, the fleet can enter warp travel at any ti."

Most warp-capable ships opt to initiate warp speed in space far from massive celestial bodies, as the gravity of these bodies can have an effect on the formation of the warp bubble. The higher the technological level, the smaller this effect, with high-level civilizations even rumored to have achieved the technology to send small ships into warp bubbles from the surface of a planet.
Ji ilas waved his hand and said, "Hurry up, our warships are waiting for this batch of supplies."
He well understood how much this batch of ten cargo ships ant to the fleet. The Teizene's expedition this ti was of an enormous scale; the first dispatched fleet faced the greatest risk as they would try to minimize stopping to hunt, thereby forming a surprise attack on Earth. The following fleets would take a more steady approach, establishing transfer bases in three locations to facilitate the arrival of more warships.
This supply was intended for the second batch of the fleet. The economic strength of the Teizene civilization was certainly not affluent, although they continually waged war and had tens of thousands of warships, it was not feasible for all these ships to be deployed at once. The economy of the Teizene largely built on the exploitation of vassal civilizations—a group of people treated as slaves and possibly eaten at any ti would hardly build any advanced material civilization for the Teizene.
The Teizene were capable of providing ample equipnt and supplies for the first fleet, but the second fleet couldn't even fully provide individual armor for the infantry soldiers.
The cargo ships Ji ilas commanded were loaded with individual armor wearable by the Teizene, a certain amount of individual tactical gear, various military daily consumables ranging from cleaning tools to dicines, and the everyday necessities for warship maintenance and repair. With this batch of supplies, the second fleet could arrive at Danlu Interstellar Cloud earlier.
Ji ilas was not concerned about the fighting prowess of the mighty Teizene civilization—it was unmatched by Earth and Iridium Star combined, even several powerful weapons would be of no help. But if they could occupy Danlu Interstellar Cloud earlier, then the Teizene could start colonizing this interstellar cloud sooner.
"I wonder if there are suitable desert planets in the Danlu Interstellar Cloud," Ji ilas thought. The Teizene were not suited to particularly moist environnts; their bodies could efficiently lock in moisture, and excessively humid conditions could cause tabolic disturbances and hormonal imbalance. Moreover, the Teizene did not like lush trees.
The Teizene did not dislike planets like Earth, which also had deserts. Such planets offered the greatest diversity in climate and vegetation, making them suitable for most carbon-based life forms. For the Teizene, these planets could also serve as pastures for raising their food sources.
As Ji ilas pondered various matters, he furrowed his brow and asked his subordinate nearby, "Why the delay? Why haven't we entered the warp bubble yet?"
The subordinates were busily adjusting the devices at hand and said, "I don't know what's happening, we might be experiencing so interference from cosmic rays. Currently, the calculation of spatial coordinates is all chaotic, and we temporarily can't enter warp speed."
Ji ilas suddenly had an ominous premonition.
Just as he was about to ask his subordinates to double-check, soone from Teizene at the other end of the bridge exclaid, "Enemy attack! Enemy attack! Flying objects approaching, unable to determine the number!"
Ji ilas almost fell off his seat; without needing radars or similar detectors, he could see that just a short distance from the warship, a group of starfighters seed to appear out of nowhere. Within the viewport of the bridge, Ji ilas saw that beneath most of the starfighters hung a massive bomb.
"Damn it, those are heavy anti-ship torpedoes!" Ji ilas was furious.
By then, the Banshee Fighters had already infiltrated the interior of the Teizene fleet, and so fighters were even less than ten thousand ters away from the Teizene rchant ships.
"Kinnara-7, execute the bombing mission!" Diane coolly ordered with silver hair.
Wearing a brainwave-controlled tactical helt, he didn't even need to press a button but simply issued the command ntally. The heavy anti-ship torpedo mounted on the Banshee Fighter launched in response, its tail emitting a bright plasma stream, heading toward a rchant ship.
Ji ilas scread in terror, "Counterattack, counterattack! Where are the defense guns? Intercept it!"
Teizene escort ships imdiately maneuvered their weapons, attempting to intercept the heavy torpedoes released by the Iridium Starfighters. In space battles, torpedoes were weapons with very apparent advantages and disadvantages. Most torpedoes had a larger combat section than missiles, which ant they were more powerful but had a relatively shorter range and slower speed, making them easier to intercept.
A typical ship, hit by a missile, might not face any serious problems and would often require many missile hits before being sunk. However, with torpedoes, a single hit could basically render the ship unusable.
"No, we must prioritize intercepting the weapons aid at us." The captain of the escort ship righteously refused Ji ilas's command, as he was the true commander of the warship.
A squadron of Iridium Starfighters, numbering up to seventy or eighty, each mounted with a torpedo, caused the Teizene escort ships to be completely overwheld upon their launch.
Diane's gaze was intense; the mont he released the torpedo, he sharply pulled up the aircraft, making the fighter rapidly spiral up. The weapons of the fighter targeted an escort ship, firing the electromagnetic cannon and beam cannon simultaneously. The bright fire hit the shield of the Teizene escort ship, causing ripples upon ripples.
