Mauritius, a small island nation in the Indian Ocean, known for its tourism and scenic spot. It was also known as a heaven on earth because of its breathtaking views and spots.
The country in the island has an area of 790 sq miles and consists mostly of small jungles and salt water lakes.
A white light shined in one part of this island nation and Fu Yan appeared in a small alley. After teleporting here, Fu Yan looked around and then walked in one direction and as usual Nir was beside him but invisible to anyone but Fu Yan.
Fu Yan walked around for a while and then chose a hotel. He checked using a fake ID that he had prepared long ago with the help of Qing.
After getting into the hotel room, Fu Yan sat down on the bed and then suddenly a [span]white light ca on and a laptop appeared in front of him. [/span]
Fu Yan connected to the internet and then typed a series of commands. After a while, a strange website opened and Fu Yan entered a string of numbers in it.
After doing all these operations, Fu Yan placed the laptop on the side and closed his eyes for a while and thought about what to do next.
When he was thinking about the future, the laptop made a noise and Fu Yan imdiately picked it up and looked towards the cara.
"Welco back Big Brother!" Qing's voice sounded in the room.
Fu Yan let out a smile and gently gave a nod.
"Tell about the situation after I went into the car with Ming Ye." Fu Yan imdiately got to the point.
"Big Brother, after you went with that lady, I followed your car throughout the city. Then suddenly I spotted so people coming closer to the house. So as per your instructions, I executed the ergency protocol and transferred my core program to the backup server that I had prepared beforehand. As for the data on the ho server, it was completely wiped out with no chances of being recovered. To avoid suspicion, I kept the normal operations of the company software going on and waited for you to contact ."
Fu Yan calmly listened to all this and then asked.
"What about the company? Is it still operational?"
"Yes Big Brother. The company operations are still going on as per normal. It's just that Miss Fei Hong tried to get the simulator program offline but since I had no instructions from you to allow her to, she was unable to do so. They did not have admin access to the servers and tried to use brute force, I also encountered multiple attempts from outside which tried to gain access to the servers."
Fu Yan was calmly listening to all this and when Fei Hong's na ca up, the golden light in his eyes beca a little brighter then gradually dimd.
'Fei Hong is still alive! Well, that's good, I will make sure she regrets betraying .' Fu Yan thought for a bit and then asked Qing.
"So did anything else happen in the company?"
"A while ago, after learning about the situation of your aunt, [span]Miss Jiao[/span] tried to contact you but after multiple failed attempts, she contacted soone and from what I picked up, she asked that person to find out what happened to you and Xen. After an hour, she received the callback from the sa person and then suddenly she started to cry. She seed pretty sad and imdiately left the company. She also transferred the 1% shares back to the company as compensation for breaking the contract."
Fu Yan was surprised after hearing the details about Jiao i. He never thought she would react this way. He rembered that his aunt told him that she was her most trusted student.
Fu Yan gave it a thought, then moved on. It did not matter to him whether Jiao i was loyal or not. He was never going to trust anyone anymore unless he/she is completely under his control and he knows that the person can never betray him even if the said person wanted to.
Fu Yan asked about the general situation of the company for a while and then after thinking for a while, he decided to implent his plan.
Tang Qin was currently sitting in front of his computer, playing [Adventures in Reclasia]. Ever since the ga ca out, he had been an avid fan of this ga.
Unlike before, when he would switch gas after so ti, he liked this ga very much and even after 3 months had passed, he was still playing it and discovering new things.
The other reason why he kept on playing this ga was because his viewers liked this ga too. Ever since he started to stream this ga, his viewer count also increased a lot.
Today was also the usual day, and he was currently streaming his ga play, when suddenly a notification popped up and the ga paused itself automatically which was never supposed to happen because the ga was an open world RPG and its ti synced with the real world.
Even though he was irritated because of the notification, he still read it because he thought 'Maybe it is sothing important.'
He clicked on the notification icon and started to read it.
"Hello Everyone! I am the creator of this ga and also the software developer of [EVOS], Fu Yan. I know many of you might be wondering why I choose to stop everyone's entertainnt for an announcent when I could just post it on the website. Well, the reason is that, all services provided by [EVOS] will shut down in an hour."
[span]Tang Qin [/span]stopped reading when he read this line and at first he thought this was a prank and that soone had hacked the ga servers but after thinking for a bit, he decided to continue reading to see what all of this was about.
"Yes, you read right. All operations and services provided by [EVOS] will be shutting down. The reason? Well, the reason is that country C as well as a powerful family who control most of the businesses in this world and which seems to be very powerful, wanted to control my company and . They coveted my technology and my geniusness. Of course if that was all, it would never have co to this, but they killed my parents, my uncle, my aunt, my little cousin and even my sweet little sister, just for their cause? Since they want my technology, they can have it, that is if they have the ans. As for my claims, you can click on the link at the end of this announcent and it will take you to a site which has all the information and proof of what I just said. Previously, I had a dream of making this world a better place but now, I just want to watch it burn. I want to see how far human greed can take this planet."
The announcent ended there and at the end of the announcent was a link.
After reading all this, Tang Qin subconsciously clicked on the link and it took him to a site that had pictures of Fu Yan, his family and his aunt's family too.
Different videos about the black out near his aunt's area, the video of him being taken in the car and the news about the death of his aunt's family.
There were also videos of the general asking him to hand over the simulation program to the Country C.
Tang Qin was still wondering whether all this was a prank when the ga suddenly closed itself.
The sa thing happened all over the world for those who were using any of the [EVOS] softwares.
When country C found this out, they tried to cover this up, but the things were already too big. They tried to bring the site down but found that the site had no physical access. It was as if the site was a ghost, which could only be seen and not touched.
So as the ti passed, more and more people got to know about this and all of them were asking [EVOS] for an explanation but how could they know that [EVOS] itself had shut down.
All the computers, servers and any other smart device in the company had shut itself down and no one could access them.
Fei Hong was sitting in her office thinking about why all this happened. Earlier when she heard about the facility and that there was a massacre there, she was glad that she left early but when she thought about the scene from the facility that she watched in the video, she could not help but tremble, thinking she would have t the sa fate had she not left.
