The god of dreams decided to give up on the demigod killer and withdraw. It was a loss to him to co for nothing, but he was quick to withdraw. He left quickly as a sign of good will to whoever was using the demigod as a vessel.
After he left, the half god of killing sighed in relief. Then he withdrew his spiritual power from his two divine flesh present in the demigod killer’s body.
After doing so, he said to himself, "Fortunately, he didn’t realize that I am just a remnant of a dead god. If he knew that I am a glass cannon incapable of prolonged battle, he would have surely moved against and even tried to control him."
Technically, he has the sa state of existence as a godling. But he is incomplete and in a fragile state. This makes him even weaker than a godling. So if he had fought the god of dreams, he would have surely lost.
Fortunately, the god of dreams was fooled by his bluff, so he didn’t have to fight. However, he still couldn’t relax.
He said to himself, "I found a good place for her, and I thought she would be safe there. But a god found her. Do I have bad luck?"
"Maybe the god of dreams was fooled, or maybe he is just pretending to be fooled. Even if he was fooled, who is to say he won’t tell other gods?"
"The fact that I was able to bluff one god now doesn’t an I can bluff the other ones. So I have to do sothing."
He couldn’t be at peace knowing that the location of his perfect vessel has been exposed to a god.
The god of dreams is a weak god. It is the type of god that he would be able to easily kill as the god of killing. But he is not the god of killing anymore.
In his current state, he is far from being able to match any god. Not only is he lacking in power, but he is also lacking in mories of the god of killing.
So he is far from being the god of killing. While the god of killing could care less that a god beca aware of his plans, he couldn’t remain at peace. This motivated him to take the next steps.
He decided to withdraw the forces he sent to teach the angel of slavery a lesson and make them enter the spiritual dinsion to help the demigod of killing fulfill her advancent requirents as soon as possible.
He had sent so of the legendary forces of the cult of blood to kill the slaves of the angel of slavery after his divine flesh was subdued. Now that the angel of slavery has also beco an angel of killing, the people he sent would only go there to die.
He felt that it was better to use the legendary forces to do sothing worthwhile with their ti and life. Since the matter of his vessel is of the uttermost importance, he decided to use the legendary forces for it.
These legendary forces are the ones he raised with his divine flesh, so he can trust them and control them sowhat.
He moved into action quickly while the god of dreams returned to the physical dinsion to look for Legion.
It was during his search for the Legion that the god of Dreams heard about the sudden appearance of a powerful killer that was massacring everyone in a certain kingdom.
If it were before he encountered the demigod in the spiritual dinsion, he would have gone to the Hydra kingdom to take a look at the killer.
But after what he just experienced, he could only shake his head and say, "It seems that there is a lot going on in that part of the world, and a lot of trouble is brewing. I better stay out of it."
The fact that the killer was killing everyone in the Hydra Kingdom was an indication that the killer was on the side of the god of disaster because the god of disaster had always wanted to invade the Hydra Kingdom and assimilate it.
If that killer is on the side of the god of disaster, then it is likely that the demigod in the spiritual dinsion is also on the side of the god of disaster.
Even if the killer causing bloodshed in the Hydra kingdom is not with the demigod killer in the spiritual dinsion, as long as the killer in the Hydra kingdom is together with the god of disaster, that killer will be a no-go area for him.
This is because the god of disaster is working together with the god of nobles, the god of death, and the god of illusion.
Those are four gods against him, including one god that is his enemy and would like to kill him. So he stayed far away from the hydra kingdom.
His reaction was understandable. In fact, he wasn’t the only one who believed that Legion was working together with the god of disaster.
Only the god of disaster and his allies knew for sure that Legion wasn’t working with them. In order to rectify this misconception, they decided to send soone to recruit Legion.
Their goal was to use Legion as bait, just like they used the first angel of killing to lure the god of justice into acting. If Legion refuses their offer, they will imdiately kill him in order to stop him from killing the people of the Hydra kingdom.
The most valuable thing in the Hydra kingdom to the god of disaster is the people in the kingdom and the faith that they can provide him. These are the sa people that Legion is killing by the millions.
The god of disaster just recently appeared and hasn’t even created a church or expanded his religion in his kingdom. So he was not in a rush to acquire the faith of the hydra kingdom.
