But he wasn't fooled by its appearance into thinking it was an ordinary star. Not after spending the last thousands of years to overco its resistance and subdue it.
He grabbed it and said, "It is ti to end this farce."
The next step after subduing the Cosmic source is refining it and making it part of his existence. Without doing that, the Cosmic source will remain an organ of the void universe, not his foundation of power. The star was much bigger than his body. It was at least a thousand tis bigger than him. But that didn't stop him from trying to absorb the Cosmic Source into his body. Sohow he managed it, and his body didn't explode. The star began to shrink while his body began to enlarge. anwhile, God's Domain within him began to shake. Cracks appeared in the ground and in the air itself as the backlash of the void universe burst forth. This backlash caused earthquakes and spatial tears to appear all over the world. The angels and mortals froze and glitched. Their figures warped as they glitched. They began to fade until they disappeared completely.
The shocked gods lost all of their faith and divinity imdiately. Then their puppets were crushed by the backlash. The backlash even followed them to the void universe where their true bodies lay. Then they were struck by a massive force that they were not prepared for. The backlash also entered earth through God's Domain. It destroyed the tiny floating rock and shattered the dying world that the humans call their universe. All of their stars were destroyed in one massive supernova that covered the whole universe. It happened over ti while millions of origin gods died in an instant. Both the humans and the origin gods didn't even know what happened. They were still shocked by what was happening in God's Domain, only for them to die soon after.
The question that filled their mind was, "What is going on?"
That's the last thought that many of them will have. Only origin gods with Supre laws would be able to live another day. They won't be able to escape the pain and regret of losing all their Authority of the Void Universe, though.
In fact, so of them will wish they had died instead of explaining to their world gods that they had lost all their domains. At least, that way, they would be at peace and wouldn't be able to experience pain anymore. It is understandable that the world gods would be very angry with the turn of events. God's Domain had ended abruptly, and they had lost all their investnts.
Many world gods joined the search for God's Domain in earnest. They wanted answers, and they had to get them at all costs. So world gods had been trying to crack the encryption of the pillars to gain access to the God's Domain. But without the Aspect of information, they stood no chance of besting the system protecting the world. But things had changed now. They didn't know why, but finding God's Domain had beco easy. It seed that sothing from within the world had broken through the pillar and created a connection between God's Domain and the void universe that they could exploit. They exploited that vulnerability without a second thought. World gods grabbed onto it and followed the connection to its source. There they found the God of power. He was a white giant made of frozen explosion. But that explosion looks like it is no longer frozen. His frozen body was cracked all over the place. Bursts of energy were coming out of the cracks, and he was growing bigger. They could sense that he was powerful and dangerous. They could also sense that he possessed sothing that belonged to the void universe. So they didn't leave. He noticed when the first one arrived. At first it was just one world god. Then it was ten and then a hundred. Soon it beca a thousand and ten thousand. All of them surrounded him, waiting for more world gods to show up. They even shared the coordinates of their location with other world gods who had nothing to do with God's Domain. What should have been a maximum of 400,000 world gods besieging him for cheating them with God's Domain beca 4,000,000 world gods besieging him for the Cosmic Source. Even so, he smiled and asked them, "Are you here for this?"
He spread out his hand for them to see. In the middle of his palm were ten billion units of the Authority of the Void Universe.
They are not exactly ten billion anymore, though. There are approximately ten billion because Legion and so other origin gods took so away.
It was Legion that took most of them away, but what he took is insignificant compared to ten billion. Besides, he can still create more Authority of the Void Universe with the universal artifact in his possession. The world gods saw the vast amount of Authority of the void universe in his possession and felt fear. They rembered when Monarch High Heaven had used these ten billion units to fight off a world god.
They rembered when he had beco a world god and managed to subdue one million realm trees in record ti. They can only imagine his power now that he is almost a usurper. But imagination and caution are just one side of the equation. On the other side is infinite cosmic energy. Between the two is the need to defeat the god of power. Infinite cosmic energy is worth more than anything they have. They are willing to give up everything they have for a cosmic source. Even if they can't get it, they want to prevent him from getting it either. So they didn't retreat. They all stood their ground. They were determined to at least make him fail in refining the Cosmic Source as payback for making a fool out of them. If that happens, not only will they get their revenge, but they might also get a chance at having the Cosmic Source for themselves.
