Little Carp clasped her hands together and muttered a few words. A blessed light erged from her body.
In a daze, Sang Luo seed to see a vast, mysterious silhouette that vanished into the void.
A ray of sunlight broke through the void, shining down upon the land.
The black mist quickly dissipated.
Sang Luo’s eyes widened.
’This is...’
After doing this, Little Carp lost all her strength. Her body went limp, and she started to fall backward.
Sang Luo quickly caught her daughter, thankful she hadn’t gotten hurt.
Quan Jin sensed the changes in the Demon Realm and rushed over, only to find Sang Luo and a group of children.
He looked up at the sun in the sky above the Void Demon Realm, his expression a mix of shock and uncertainty. "Sangsang, did... you do this?"
"Little Carp did it. I’m not that capable."
Quan Jin walked over to look at the child and had a realization. "So that’s it. She has the Word Spirit Law."
He didn’t know much about these children; it was the first ti he’d learned of Little Carp’s Talent Power.
"Tens of thousands of years ago, the Void Demon Realm wasn’t so lifeless. But after losing the war between the realms, the great Beast Emperors and Beast Venerables of that era jointly placed a curse upon it. They stripped it of the right to enjoy the blessings of the world, forcing its inhabitants to live in eternal darkness to atone for the countless mbers of the Beast Clan who died. For this child’s Word Spirit Law to actually break the curse left by those powerful experts of the past..." Even though the curse had weakened over tens of thousands of years, Quan Jin still found it incredible.
"She’s exhausted. She’ll probably have to sleep for a few days." Sang Luo kissed her little daughter’s forehead.
"Let hold her." Quan Jin opened his arms.
Sang Luo handed the child to him.
Before leaving, Sang Luo glanced back one more ti. The Beastn in the city were all running out of their hos, forming a vast, dark mass from a distance. They bathed in the sunlight and drank the clean water. So even burst into tears.

She sighed.
"The Demon Clan is so determined to invade the Beast World Continent because life here is just too harsh. If the environnt in the Void Demon Realm could slowly improve, who wouldn’t want to stay in their holand and live in peace?"
Quan Jin held the child with one arm and her hand with the other, the rest of the children following behind them. "Ideals are wonderful, of course. Whether in the Void Demon Realm or the Beast World Continent, no ordinary person wants war. But the ones who start wars are usually the insatiably greedy and powerful."
"What about you? The Void Demon Realm is in your hands now. If the Demon Clan wanted to start another war, it would only take a word from you."
Quan Jin smiled. "I can’t speak for my past self, but the of today just wants you and the children to be well, to live in a peaceful world, happy and safe."
Back at the palace, Sang Luo laid her little daughter on the bed. Little Blue Eucalyptus leaned over the edge of the bed and touched his sister’s face. "Mother, is sister okay?"
"She just used too much of her power. A good sleep will fix her right up." Sang Luo looked at the other children and kissed them one by one. "You all must be tired from playing today, too. Rest well. Don’t let catch anyone being naughty and not sleeping, or you’ll get a spanking."
"Don’t worry, Mother! All my brothers and sisters will definitely go right to sleep!" Little Zhenzhen jumped into her arms.
Sang Luo patted her little head. "So you’re the only one who’s not going to sleep, is that it? Fine. Since you’re so full of energy, Mother has a mission for you. You watch over your brothers and sisters here, and Mother will go get so sleep, too."
’I’ve been getting tired so easily lately.’
"Okay!" Little Zhenzhen nodded in agreent.
Sang Luo went back to her bedchamber to rest. Before he left, Quan Jin bent down and kissed her cheek. "Sangsang, I have to go out for a bit. I’ll be back tonight."
"Mm."
She answered drowsily with her eyes closed, hearing the footsteps by the bed slowly fade into the distance.
She slept until evening, when Little Zhenzhen ca running in. "Mother, it’s terrible! Sister Little Carp is gone!"
It was as if a bucket of cold water had been dumped over Sang Luo’s head, shocking her instantly awake. She hurriedly summoned her child back.
A little girl appeared in her arms, her chest cruelly torn open. She had already stopped breathing, and the Crystal Core inside her body was gone!
’Who killed my daughter?’
’And stole her Crystal Core!’
Her eyes burned with rage, and a wave of dizziness washed over her. When she opened her eyes again, she was back in her bedchamber.
The afternoon sun was still bright outside the window.
’So it was a dream.’
’Was this nightmare a coincidence? Or a prophecy?’
She had Minos’s Ti Talent. There were Level restrictions preventing her from using it actively, but the Talent Power sotis manifested passively.
’Real or not, I have to go check on her imdiately.’
Sang Luo rushed to the side hall. Seeing Little Carp still sleeping soundly, she let out a huge sigh of relief.
She took the child into her arms.
"Mom, what’s wrong?" Little Carp woke up drowsily, her voice still soft and languid.
"It’s nothing. Mom had a nightmare. Seeing that you’re alright, I’m relieved."
’Right, where’s Little Zhenzhen?’
’Did she run off to play sowhere again?’
Just as Sang Luo was about to head out, she saw Little Zhenzhen return, dragging a mangled, bloody person with her. "Mother, a spy tried to sneak into the palace, but I found him!"
Sang Luo’s eyes grew cold. ’It seems the dream wasn’t fake. Soone really is trying to harm Little Carp!’
’I was too careless last ti. Soone must have secretly discovered her talent and wants to take it for themselves.’
’If they can send one spy, they can send two, or three... If I don’t pull them out by the roots, I’ll never be able to rest easy. It’ll be impossible to guard against them all.’
She took out her Communication Jade Scroll and contacted Minos.
The sky was clear, and flowers blood like a vibrant tapestry.
Minos was sitting on a lounge chair in the garden, feeding his plump little daughter while his young son lay on his lap. It was a picture of perfect tranquility.
’Life in the Holy Palace seems pretty comfortable.’
"Luoluo?"
"Minos, I need you to do a favor."
"Mm, go ahead."
Sang Luo explained the situation to him.
Minos’s handso, golden brows furrowed slightly. He glanced at the unconscious Beastman in the projection, then called over a Servant. After handing the children to the Servant, his figure vanished from the screen and, in the next instant, appeared by Sang Luo’s side.
Sang Luo blinked. "I was thinking that you must be busy with matters in the Holy Palace, and you have two children to look after. I didn’t want to bother you too much."
"Anything concerning you and the children is never a bother." Minos’s crystal-clear blue eyes held a smile.
"I can help trace ti back to see who this person has been in contact with and deduce who the mastermind is."
"Mm."
With a wave of his hand, Minos sent a ray of golden light into the Beastman’s body. A series of scenes imdiately appeared before them, flashing past like a movie.
Sang Luo’s brow slowly tightened. This Beastman was just a hired hand. The mastermind was very cautious and never showed their face, sending a subordinate to make contact instead.
They couldn’t get any useful information from this goon.
"Let’s try looking from Little Carp’s side instead."
’The mastermind’s target is her, so they’re bound to make contact in the future.’
Minos nodded. He took a strand of Little Carp’s hair. The mont the dark brown strand left her head, it turned a soft, light pink.
A faint ball of golden light condensed in Minos’s palm, and an image materialized before their eyes.
