Besides the Xiaogasa Family, the Shareli Family was also implicated with so military departnts. These departnts had been bribed when receiving the highest-grade defense suits from the Xiaogasa Family, stamping patently unqualified products as qualified. Hou Min instinctively sought help, his gaze turning to Chen Gu, who smiled and nodded at him, "Report our investigation findings to the Director-General. Don't be nervous; Her Excellency is very approachable."
I don't even believe my own words, Chen Gu thought, but if it can comfort Hou Min, that's all that matters.
Chen Gu's words indeed had an effect; Hou Min visibly grew more at ease—how could he know of the friction between Chen Gu and Aviloya? In his eyes, Chen Gu was already a big shot, and big shots surely wouldn't deceive him.
