Chen Gu suddenly understood. "I know what they're stealing those Ofla raw materials for."

Chen Gu pointed at the large net being dragged behind the giant bug. "To use as a sample for its evolution."

Thinking back, the material of that large net was very similar to Ofla, but even superior.

The net was being retracted into one of the twenty-four openings on the spider-like behemoth's body.

Rainbow stared at the spider-like behemoth and said to Chen Gu, "I'll try to hack into its brain; you blow it up with Biological Nuclear Explosion!"

Chen Gu nodded. "Okay."

Before they could implent their plan, the giant bug suddenly leaped, crossing several thousand ters. It jumped out of the range of the collapsing area and landed with a BOOM that gouged a large pit in the ground. Then, it quickly rushed in a specific direction.

Chen Gu's expression changed. "Not good!" He imdiately gave chase.

In that direction, his older son was still locked in fierce battle with the wireworm monstrosity.

Rainbow had no ti for further planning. She activated her Brain Domain Hacker skill, releasing nine powerful ntal tendrils that chased after the spider-like behemoth, attempting to entangle it.

But the spider-like behemoth seed to sense danger and moved with extre speed, always deftly avoiding the ntal tendrils.

"Sothing's wrong!" Rainbow realized. "This creature, like the wireworm monstrosity, is very familiar with our professional abilities and is subconsciously evading my power."

With a stern face, Chen Gu imdiately contacted Star Sea. "Close Range Attack Ship!"

"I want the strongest Close Range Attack Ship!"

"We'll hold this thing down, and the Close Range Attack Ship will deliver the fatal blow!"

In Star Sea, the fleet imdiately sprang into action.

Halfway through the chase, Chen Gu suddenly rembered sothing and called Bai Yunpeng. "Marshal Bai, are there any teams hunting super life forms near 'Nie Dun 6'?"

Milgrett had appeared there before.

Bai Yunpeng said, "I'll check."

He hung up, and Chen Gu, gritting his teeth, continued the pursuit. The giant spider quickly passed through a sea of flas and entered the battlefield where Chen Jixian and the wireworm monstrosity were fighting.

The wireworm monstrosity let out a strange, long howl, and its body disintegrated again. Countless wireworms sward towards the spider-like behemoth, making a RUSTLING sound.

Chen Jixian urged his flas onward in a rolling blaze.

Perhaps truly inheriting Chen Gu's bullheaded and straightforward genes, the young man showed no hesitation upon seeing the enormous spider-like behemoth. He blasted fire, launched himself into the air, and soared upwards. With his warhamr held high, massive flas coiled around it like mighty dragons.

Then he dove straight down, hamr aid at the spider-like behemoth.

Chen Gu had just arrived and shouted, "No—!"

His older son's hamr had already struck the spider's underbelly.

BOOM—

The flas erupted. The spider-like behemoth swayed slightly, its belly caving in montarily before springing back. Chen Jixian was flung away.

From one of the behemoth's openings, a large net shot out, ensnaring Chen Jixian in mid-air. The net began to retract swiftly. Simultaneously, the creature extended a huge, fleshy tendril. This tendril, ending in a ring-shaped mouth lined with sharp teeth, lunged to bite him.

Inside the gaping maw, its barbed tongue quivered, glinting with a dark sheen—likely coated with deadly poison!

"AH—!" Chen Gu bellowed, his eyes piercing, as he exerted all his energy to activate Nuclear Fusion Beam Eyes.

But drawing from previous experience, Chen Gu didn't focus his gaze on the large net this ti, but on that specific opening.

The opening imdiately burst into flas. The intense fire clearly discomforted the spider-like behemoth, and its control over the net faltered.

The net swung wildly. As the massive tendril bit down, it missed its mark, scraping past Chen Jixian's side.

But the crisis was far from over. The tendril twisted, and the barbed tongue within its ring-shaped mouth shot out with a WHOOSH.

A longsword flew in from afar, controlled by Chen Gu's Entanglent Control, guiding the Father-Son Sword to sever the tongue.

PFF—

A thick, foul-slling fluid sprayed out, covering Chen Jixian's face and head. Yet, the older son remained unfazed, not even blinking.
