Sixty-four beams of light crisscrossed through the Star Sea as energy waves of a specific frequency expanded layer by layer.
That enormous creature moved through the Star Sea with ease, yet naturally exuded a terrifying pressure that no person or thing could contend with!
This ti, Chen Gu and his two companions were aboard a military "convenience ship"—not a main Starship, but still a second-class frigate, one thousand ters long.
One pincer of the fearso Energy Gathering chanical Species was as large as this frigate. The bow of a Starship, which had been torn in two, had not yet been obliterated by any explosion. The warriors inside bravely activated its main cannon, swiftly aiming it at the colossal creature.
The damaged vessel tumbled and rocked in the Star Sea, but it possessed an extrely advanced fire-control system. Once the main cannon locked on, it automatically adjusted to keep the target in its sights.
A beam of energy, which should have been substantial but appeared minuscule in comparison to the gigantic creature, stabbed like a javelin toward the Energy Gathering chanical Species. However, a special force field materialized around this assailant. The cannon's power shot into the field, where it was continuously diminished, eventually exhausting itself without harming the creature.
One of the colossal creature's glowing eyes swiveled, and a beam of light struck the main cannon at the vessel's bow. Then, an even more intense light erupted from the damaged hull, and that half of the ship exploded into countless particles of cosmic dust...
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
The other half of the vessel spun rapidly in the void, shrill alarms blaring incessantly inside the cabin. The Gravity System had failed completely. Many warriors were flung about within the hold, slamming into walls and coughing up blood; they were fatally injured.
Chen Gu and his two companions also saw the enormous creature. A chill rose from the depths of their hearts. "A super lifeform!"
And a rare chanical type of super lifeform, at that!
Or perhaps, at this level of existence, there was no longer any need to distinguish between biological and chanical species.
Wu Yihuo was a Hell Titan, a Class known for its robust physique and preference for brute-force combat. Yet, facing such a powerful presence, he felt an imnse fear rising from the depths of his Soul.
He trembled all over and subconsciously asked, "Instructor, what do we do..."
Chen Gu's feet were firmly planted on the deck. He glanced at his grown-up son and then at Wu Yihuo. Chen Jixian had already gripped his warhamr tightly—regardless of whether they could win, sitting idly by waiting for death was out of the question for him.
Chen Gu gritted his teeth. He grabbed one person with each hand, then looked up, silently invoking in his heart: Quantum Teleportation Marathon!
Pale blue energy ripples spread out. After a fluctuation, the space around the three of them collapsed inward. A soft POP seed to echo from the void, and their figures vanished on the spot.
In the Star Sea, the terrifying super lifeform focused all sixty-four of its glowing eyes on the remaining half of the Starship. It seed to have found what it was looking for.
One pincer rose and gently grasped. Half the Starship was captured by so powerful force, drawn into the pincer—Chen Gu and the others teleported away at the very mont of capture.
The super lifeform seed to perceive sothing. Beams of light within its eyes flickered. Then, it opened its great maw and let out a soundless "roar."
While in the midst of Quantum Teleportation, Chen Gu suddenly felt a thunderous explosion in his mind. He staggered, and the Quantum Teleportation destabilized.
Blood imdiately seeped from Chen Gu's seven orifices. He was in excruciating pain, his head feeling as if it were about to explode, so heavy it threatened to snap his neck!
But Chen Gu clenched his jaw, stubbornly withstanding the trendous pain and keeping the Quantum Teleportation stable, not letting it deviate in the slightest.
If he failed to persist, if there was any mishap, he and his grown-up son would be forever lost in this "quantum space"!
Chen Gu would not allow this to happen. He had brought his grown-up son out here, and he had to take him back alive. Otherwise, even in death, he would never be able to face his daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
Thousands of kiloters away in the void, pale blue energy ripples spread once more. Chen Gu abruptly appeared, carrying a person in each hand.
"Instructor..." Wu Yihuo saw Chen Gu's ghastly state and called out subconsciously, only then realizing Chen Gu could not hear him.
Chen Jixian's eyelids shot up as if he too wanted to say sothing.
But Chen Gu's eyes were wide with fierce determination. Lacking even the ti to use Atomic Life on himself, he imdiately initiated a second Quantum Teleportation.
PTOO—
Chen Gu spat out a mouthful of blood. Pale blue energy ripples spread out, then quickly collapsed, and the three figures once again vanished.
The Quantum Teleportation Marathon. Chen Gu had to keep teleporting, again and again, all the way to Nie Dun 6!
Monts after they disappeared, a vast pincer reached out from the distorted void, snatching at the exact spot where the three had just been.
Its grasp t only empty space. The terrifying super lifeform didn't even erge from the distorted void. Instead, the pincer retracted and swiftly moved to intercept Chen Gu along his predicted escape route.
The super lifeform possessed extrely high intelligence. After Chen Gu's first Quantum Teleportation, it had already estimated his maximum range. Factoring in that Chen Gu had been injured by its psychic attack, it deduced his teleportation distance would progressively shorten. Therefore, the super lifeform lay in wait at an optimal position.
