"A Heavenly Rank Artifact, Number 2-13!" Balermo suddenly realized he was within the control range of this Heavenly Rank artifact wielded by Modric.

In his current state, he simply couldn't resist the formidable power of a Heavenly Rank artifact. He opened his mouth to roar, but only a hoarse moan escaped.

The once mighty Seventh Energy Level Hell Titan had beco a mummified corpse.

Modric's figure gazed at the mummified corpse, his heart aching with grief. "What kind of sorcery does the Digital Group possess?" he lanted. "A Seventh Energy Level expert, brainwashed just like that?"

Chen Gu shook his head gently, and Modric added, "The rest is up to you, Captain Chen."

...

"AH—DIE!" Gascolin roared, furiously swinging the iron rod in his hands. He shattered several pitch-black, claw-like branches before him, but dozens more sward from all directions, irresistibly engulfing him and his courage.

The iron rod was entangled by a dozen or so branches and effortlessly snatched from his grasp.

He stumbled backward, collapsing in despair. A branch lunged, nearly piercing his eye, and he had nowhere to dodge.

Suddenly, however, a crimson glow flared within the Skeleton Tree King. In an instant, its body turned to flying ash.

The ghostly, claw-like branches that had been reaching for Gascolin also burned to cinders, one by one.

Gascolin stared blankly for a mont, then wiped the tears from his face. He turned his head to see Murray also slumped on the ground nearby.

"Young Master..." Murray sighed in relief. "It looks like we've been saved."

Gascolin's lips trembled. "Which hero was it? I must repay him handsoly!"

A figure walked in through the large doorway. Chen Gu observed them coolly, inwardly surprised. The situation Gascolin and his group faced was almost identical to the scenario created by those hair-ball tuber plants. It seems these plant-animal hybrids have no creativity at all, he mused. Their illusions can only replicate reality.

"Gascolin Hondarei?" Chen Gu asked.

Gascolin scrambled to his feet, shouting, "Yes, that's ! Get out of here! I can't stand another second in this godforsaken place!"

Chen Gu nodded. "Did you send out that distress signal?"

"Distress signal?" Gascolin looked bewildered. "After we hid here, we only managed to connect to the interstellar network a short while ago and posted a distress video. Didn't you co because you saw that video?"

Chen Gu smiled faintly. "That's not important. What's important is that I'm here, and I've rescued you."

"Right, right! Let's get out of here quickly. The monsters in this place are terrifying."

Chen Gu gestured to the group. "Follow ."

...

Inside the online chatroom, the mbers of the Digital Group once again fell silent.

No one spoke, not even Number 21.

Everyone felt incredibly frustrated. Is this Chen Gu our jinx? Is he naturally our counter? How could he turn defeat into victory after such an infallible plan! And we've already hidden in the Star State, yet he still chases after us, so relentlessly!

The mbers of the Digital Group were severely demoralized; even their confidence was shaken once more.

Suddenly, Creator Zero's account ca online. "Why so glum?

"So what if Chen Gu rescued Gascolin?

"That spoiled brat is insignificant. Our objectives have been achieved; we have successfully evolved a planet. This is an unprecedented victory for us.

"This is a grand beginning!"

The mbers of the Digital Group pondered this. That's right! Chen Gu didn't actually manage to turn the tide; he rely survived and rescued an inconsequential person. We have completed the Purification of a planet; this operation was a resounding success!

With this self-consolation, the Digital Group's spirits imdiately lifted.

Number 21 said disdainfully, "Great Creator Zero, what are our next steps?"

Creator Zero replied, "The plan you formulated was perfect. Continue to execute it as intended. The success on Sol Star is in the past; we must focus on the future.

"And compared to our achievents on Sol Star, I am even more eager for our harvest on Jorls III—I have always believed that to be our ultimate Purification solution!"

"Yes, sir!" Number 21 felt greatly encouraged.

...

Chen Gu and his team escorted Gascolin and his companions back to the spaceship. Throughout the journey, Gascolin was imnsely grateful to his rescuers. Once aboard the ship, he shed his usual arrogant deanor, treating everyone he t with politeness and deep gratitude.

However, he found it odd. These people don't seem to like very much, he wondered. Why are they all so cold-faced, as if I owe them money? Only Captain Chen, who personally rescued , is friendly and chatted with quite a bit on the way.

Chairman White issued the command: "Comnce military operations!"

In the Star Sea, the mothership's enormous bay doors opened. Squadrons of pre-prepared Close Range Attack Ships launched, swiftly reaching their attack positions. Massive main cannons extended from beneath the warships, unleashing devastating roars!

From the warship's portholes, Chen Gu and the others watched enormous flashes of light erupt continuously on Sol Star, their hearts filled with mixed emotions.

A colony planet, developed over millennia, destroyed just like that...

Chairman White watched for a mont, then turned his attention to Chen Gu. He remarked with deep feeling, "This ti, Captain Chen, we truly owe you a great debt."
