"Iron sand forms the wall, a tower in the image of a monk—burning iron glows, steadfast and unyielding, until all falls silent.

Bakudō Number Seventy-Five—Five Pillars of Iron Restraint!"

Even as waves of pain tore through his body, Jörmungandr still tried to shake Yasaka off and surge back into the sky.

But what he hadn't expected—

As Yasaka completed her incantation, several massive iron pillars suddenly shot down from the heavens like teors, slamming into his colossal body and pinning him straight to the ground!

Given Jörmungandr's imnse size, those five iron pillars should have been insignificant—little more than toothpicks to him. He struggled, trying to break free.

Yet to his disbelief—

Those "toothpick-sized" pillars held him in place like divine stakes, nailing him down so completely that he couldn't move an inch!

After fully binding him with the complete incantation of Bakudō #75, Yasaka didn't pause for even a second.

She imdiately followed up with another technique—

Bakudō Number Sixty-Three: Chain Binding!

It had to be said—when it ca to barrier techniques and spellcraft, Yasaka's talent was extraordinary.

After Ren Kuroda had taught her the fundantals of kidō, she hadn't just mastered them quickly—she had begun combining them seamlessly, layering spells with frightening precision.

At first, even though Jörmungandr had been nailed to the ground by the five pillars, he still retained so ability to struggle.

But the mont countless glowing chains coiled around his massive serpentine body—

That resistance vanished.

The radiant chains wrapped around him again and again, binding him tightly like an enormous, living zongzi.

After winding around the five iron pillars as well, the chains stretched upward—their ends disappearing into the storm clouds above.

And Kyoto's sky right now?

It was a churning mass of thunderclouds—an ocean of lightning.

So what would happen when those chains connected directly to it?

The answer was obvious.

Realizing what was coming, Jörmungandr struggled even more desperately.

But Yasaka had already poured the majority of her demonic power into the five iron pillars, reinforcing them like immovable anchors of the sea, locking him in place beyond escape.

If she had used Chain Binding first, Jörmungandr might still have had the strength to break free.

Worse—under attack, he might have lashed out in desperation, causing even greater destruction to Kyoto.

But now—

With Five Pillars of Iron Restraint fixing his body in place, and Chain Binding locking down his joints completely—

He was utterly immobilized.

Then—

The lightning ca.

Violent blue bolts surged down from the heavens, racing along the glowing chains. Amplified through the iron pillars, the electricity coursed directly into Jörmungandr's entire body—

Delivering what could only be described as a brutally "intensive electrotherapy session."

And it didn't stop.

This wasn't a single strike.

It was continuous.

Relentless.

Under the repeated lightning strikes, Jörmungandr's scales began to split and char, his flesh tearing open as the pain mounted.

At this mont, regret flooded his mind.

Why had he co down from the sky?

Why had he provoked this insane fox?!

Up in the air, he had still been struck by lightning—but at least he could dodge, defend, mitigate the damage.

Now?

He couldn't even twitch.

Pinned to the ground, all he could do was endure the storm.

Among the Five Dragon Kings, Jörmungandr had always considered himself the strongest—his overwhelming size alone gave him that confidence.

He had never taken Yasaka, the supre commander of Kyoto's yokai, too seriously.

Even if he couldn't defeat her within Kyoto, he had believed he could at least remain undefeated.

But only now, in true combat, did he realize just how unreliable rumors could be.

Yasaka—the Nine-Tailed Fox—was clearly stronger than an average Dragon King.

And worse—

She wielded a terrifying array of bizarre and unpredictable techniques.

If he had known from the start just how powerful she was, he never would have gone this far.

After all, he hadn't even been here by choice—he'd just been dragged in to do the heavy lifting.

If he had simply gone through the motions without overcommitting, then once Loki's side finished their objective, his mission would have been complete.

But his earlier arrogance had completely enraged Kyoto's ruler.

And now—

Even though he wanted to fight back—

He could only take the beating.

At this point, his only hope was that Loki and the demonic wolf, Fenrir, would finish their battle quickly and co to support him.

Sure, he had tough scales and imnse vitality—

But if this lightning barrage continued…

Even he would die.

Unfortunately for Jörmungandr—

The two he was relying on weren't faring any better.

Ren Kuroda had two main objectives in this world.

One was to fully awaken Kamiyu—his divine blessing.

That had already been accomplished.

The other—

Was to defeat three beings on the level of Demon Kings… or Dragon Kings.

And now—

Standing before him were two perfect targets.

Fenrir, the demonic wolf, counted as a powerful monster.

And Loki?

A bona fide chief god of the Norse pantheon.

Both t the criteria.

"Kamiyu."

At Ren's call, the black-haired girl standing beside him nodded calmly.

In the next instant, her body erupted into brilliant white light—

And transford into a long, gleaming blade.

Seeing this, Rias and Issei were completely stunned.

Just monts ago, they had been wondering how Ren had sohow ended up with yet another beautiful girl by his side after only a few days apart.

And now—

That very sa girl had turned into a sword?!

"So Sacred Gears can do that too?! Ddraig, don't you have sothing like that?!"

Issei's eyes lit up as he stared at his gauntlet, suddenly filled with wild expectations.

Maybe Ddraig just sounded rough—

Maybe his true form was actually a beautiful girl?!

"Partner, give it up already," Ddraig's voice echoed imdiately, crushing his fantasy without rcy.

"Even a Longinus-class Sacred Gear doesn't have the ability to transform into a human form.

Most soul-based Sacred Gears are forged from legendary creatures or powerful beings from myth.

We were turned into Sacred Gears—we didn't give birth to them.

So transformation like that simply isn't possible."

"And let make one more thing absolutely clear," Ddraig added firmly.

"Even if I could take on a humanoid form, it would be that of a mighty dragon.

A majestic, awe-inspiring male dragon.

There is absolutely no way I'd turn into so 'beautiful girl.'"

As if sensing the questionable thoughts running through Issei's mind, Ddraig hurried to clarify.

A Sacred Gear and its wielder being partners was one thing—

But having the wielder fantasize about your body?

Absolutely unacceptable.

Even if he didn't have a physical body anymore—

Fantasizing about his soul was still off-limits!

He was Ddraig—the mighty Red Dragon Emperor, one of the Two Heavenly Dragons!

There was no way he'd turn into so "waifu dragon," and certainly no way he'd let himself be "converted" into sothing like that!

"Then why can Ren-sensei's Sacred Gear turn into a beautiful girl…?"

Hearing that Ddraig couldn't transform, Issei was visibly disappointed.

For a mont, he even felt like the so-called Longinus wasn't all that impressive after all.

What kind of ultimate Sacred Gear can't even do gender-bending transformations?!
