What had nearly spiraled into chaos was ultimately brought to a close under the diation of Sirzechs Lucifer and the others.
After their clash with Khaos Brigade, everyone was exhausted. They needed ti to rest—and more importantly, ti to process the shocking information they had just uncovered.
Sirzechs and the other two Demon Kings of the Underworld, along with Michael, Azazel, and even Odin, moved to a well-known local tavern. They rented out the entire place and began a private discussion about the situation.
The ergence of the Khaos Brigade was no longer a problem limited to the Biblical factions.
Their goal was to throw the entire world into chaos.
No one could afford to stay uninvolved.
A re criminal organization daring to challenge the countless mythological systems of the world would normally be dismissed as absurd.
But when the leader of that organization was the so-called Infinite Dragon God—Ophis—
that changed everything.
The other mbers of Khaos Brigade could be ignored.
But Ophis alone?
That was enough to make even the gods uneasy.
Because her power… was absolute.
"An existence like the Dragon God Ophis shouldn't even be interested in sothing like this," Odin said, frowning. "If she truly wanted to act, all of our mythological factions could have been wiped out long ago. Why wait until now? Are you certain you're not mistaken?"
His doubt was understandable.
In ancient tis, before the dragon race fractured, if Ophis had so much as raised her hand, the Two Heavenly Dragons, the Five Great Dragon Kings, and her own power would have been more than enough to annihilate every faction in the world.
Even if dragons weren't exactly united, Ophis's status and strength were undeniable.
If she had spoken, even the legendary Heavenly Dragons would have given her face.
That overwhelming might was precisely why the gods feared her.
After all, no god or devil enjoyed living under the shadow of a blade that could fall at any mont.
Yet despite that fear, there was nothing they could do.
Ophis was simply too strong.
Any attempt to oppose her would amount to suicide.
Fortunately, beings like the True Red Dragon God Emperor and Ophis herself had always been detached from worldly affairs—uninterested in anything beyond the dinsional gaps.
That was why peace had been maintained for so long.
But now—
Sirzechs and the others were saying that Ophis, who had always remained indifferent, was planning to act against the world's major factions.
How was Odin supposed to accept that?
"The power we witnessed could only belong to Ophis," Sirzechs replied calmly. "And it's not as though all of us could have mistaken her identity at once."
He then went on to describe, in detail, what had occurred within the ga space.
As Serafall Leviathan, Ajuka Beelzebub, and Odin listened, their expressions gradually shifted to shock.
Ren Kuroda… had managed to injure Ophis?
That was the Dragon God.
Even among gods and devils, she was regarded as the embodint of absolute invincibility.
To put it bluntly—
in Ophis's eyes, gods and devils were no different from ordinary humans.
Whether one's strength was "1" or "100" made no aningful difference in the face of infinity.
This was the first ti Odin and the others had seen Ren in person.
And when they had—he had been completely drained, appearing no different from an ordinary human.
There had been nothing remarkable about him.
And yet—
that sa young man, who had just been at the center of a rather… chaotic romantic situation—
was actually hiding such terrifying power.
—
anwhile, the very subject of their discussion—
Ren Kuroda—
had already been taken ho by Yasaka.
After hearing the full story from Ren about his situation with Rias, Yasaka had cald down sowhat…
but she was still far from pleased.
In her eyes, her "dear brother" was far too reckless.
And as for Sirzechs and the Gremory family—
they were shaless.
It was obvious what they were doing.
They had seen Ren's strength and were trying to poach him into the devil faction—using Rias as leverage.
She had even thought Sirzechs looked like a kind and gentle man before.
Now?
A Demon King was still a Demon King.
None of them were simple.
After bringing Ren back to his room, Yasaka dismissed all the servants under the pretense of letting him rest.
But she herself…
made no move to leave.
—
In the past, no matter how much she teased or tempted him, her brother had always remained unmoved.
She had considered using force—
but had never been strong enough.
Now, however…
the servants were gone.
Kunou was out playing with friends.
Only the two of them remained in the house.
And most importantly—
Ren was in an exceptionally weakened state.
Though he had regained minimal mobility, in front of Yasaka…
he was no more than a lamb.
—
Lying on the bed, Ren felt an overwhelming fatigue wash over him.
Through this battle, he had clearly realized the absolute gap between himself and Ophis.
To others, it might have looked like he was capable of contending with her.
But Ren knew the truth.
She had been holding back.
The battle had seed intense—
but almost all of the offensive moves had co from him.
Ophis had mostly remained on the defensive.
And the two tis she actually attacked—
he had been instantly defeated.
In other words—
if she had been serious from the start, there would have been no battle at all.
Even at full power, he wouldn't have lasted three moves against her.
—
His limbs, once paralyzed, had now regained basic function.
A small amount of demonic power had also returned.
Just as Ren was about to retrieve the "Endless Sake Gourd" from his system space to recover further—
four glowing golden chains suddenly shot out, binding his limbs and pinning him to the four corners of the bed!
Ren froze.
He knew these chains all too well.
They were a form of onmyōjutsu binding art—
"Chain Restraint."
"Yasaka… I didn't teach you that so you could use it on ," Ren said, his tone turning sharp. "And what exactly do you think you're doing?"
Lost in thought earlier, he hadn't even noticed—
Yasaka had never left the room.
And now, the way she was looking at him…
set off every alarm in his mind.
"This is all your fault, dear brother," Yasaka said, her lips curling into a playful smile, her voice soft and dangerously sweet. "Helping that Gremory girl like that—and now she's clinging to you."
She stepped closer, a seductive aura radiating from her.
"You must be quite troubled by it, aren't you?"
Her golden eyes glead.
"But don't worry."
"I have a perfect solution."
"A solution that will settle everything… once and for all."
