Clyde sat at the edge of the bed, watching the figure buried beneath the blanket. The entire shape had curled up tightly, the thick comforter wrapped around Micah from head to toe until he looked less like a person and more like a round, sulking dumpling abandoned in the middle of the mattress.

The only sign Micah was still awake was the slight movent of the blanket as he breathed.

Clyde couldn’t help the faint smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. Slowly, he leaned forward and reached out, placing his palm gently on the spot where Micah’s head was hidden beneath the blanket. His hand moved slowly, stroking the soft mound in a calm, almost soothing motion.

"Are you mad at ?" Clyde asked softly. His voice was low, carrying a mix of teasing and sincerity. When there was no response, he added lightly, "Did I do sothing wrong?"

The dumpling remained silent. Micah didn’t move. If anything, the blanket seed to tighten slightly around him, as though he had deliberately wrapped himself up even more firmly.

Clyde watched with quiet amusent and continued patting the top of the blanket, smoothing the fabric where Micah’s hair would be.

"I nearly lost you two months ago," Clyde said after a mont, his tone turning softer. The teasing faded from his voice, replaced by sothing much quieter. The mory still lingered too vividly in his mind, the fear, the helplessness, the mont he thought Micah might truly slip away from him. Even now, the thought still made his chest tighten slightly.

"Can you give a little leeway," Clyde continued quietly, "and let tell people that you’re mine?"

Again, the dumpling offered no reply. Micah stayed completely silent under the blanket, refusing to co out.

Clyde didn’t look irritated though. Instead, he let out a small breath and kept stroking the blanket patiently, as if coaxing a stubborn cat that had decided to hide in a corner. "You’ve always put Darcy first," he said eventually. His voice remained calm, but there was a faint edge of truth behind the words. "Is it really too much to ask," he added slowly, "that you at least let boast a little about you being mine?"

Under the blanket, Micah’s lips pressed together. Clyde’s words hit a spot he couldn’t easily refute. Because... it was true. Micah had always placed Darcy first. It had always been that way, even before everything that had happened recently.

Even now, when things had already beco complicated between them, he was still doing everything he could, trying to get justice for Darcy. Just earlier today, he had gone out of his way to et Leo for Darcy’s sake.

Micah couldn’t deny it.

The silence stretched for several seconds before Micah finally shifted slightly beneath the blanket. His voice ca out muffled through the thick layers of fabric. "I’m not mad about the pictures." The words were quiet, almost reluctant.

Clyde’s hand paused in mid-stroke. His eyes focused on the dumpling-shaped mound in front of him.

For a mont, he studied it carefully, as though he could sohow see through the blanket and read the expression hidden beneath it.

He knew he had acted impulsively earlier. Uploading those photos so suddenly... announcing their relationship without even asking Micah first. But the entire Darcy situation had been getting under his skin lately. Watching Micah run around for soone else again and again had stirred sothing restless inside him.

He wasn’t proud of how possessive the impulse had been. But he also didn’t regret it. Clyde leaned down slightly, lowering his voice until it beca a near whisper.

"I still rember I owe you one for yesterday’s mishap," he murmured.

The mory of the previous night flickered briefly across his mind. Micah had clearly been embarrassed about it.

Clyde’s lips curved faintly. "Na anything," he continued softly. "I’ll do it for you." He paused for dramatic effect before adding in a deliberately exaggerated tone, "Should I kneel on a washboard to apologise?" His voice carried playful mischief now. Then his tone dropped again. "Or..." he murmured slowly, leaning closer, "do you want to give you a special service right here?"

As he spoke, his hand began drifting slowly downward across the blanket.

The movent was subtle. But the direction was unmistakable.

Micah reacted instantly. The blanket exploded upward as he yanked it off his head and sat up abruptly. "Nope!" he blurted out, eyes wide with alarm. "I won’t fall for it!"

He grabbed the blanket and clutched it defensively in front of him like a shield. "Don’t even think about it!"

His reaction was so imdiate that Clyde couldn’t stop the amused smirk that spread across his face.

Micah looked genuinely wary now, like a cat whose fur had puffed up after spotting danger. The truth was... Micah was honestly a little frightened. If this continued every night, he might actually dry up from the excessive release. What about his kidneys though?

Ever since things between them had changed, Clyde seed to have unlocked so kind of hidden mode. It was like he had activated so sort of incubus gene. The man was constantly trying to seduce him.

It was relentless. And worst of all... Micah was painfully aware of one humiliating detail. He always finished faster than Clyde. Every single ti. The mory made his pride ache with embarrassnt.

anwhile, Clyde sat there watching him with obvious amusent. From Clyde’s perspective, Micah looked exactly like a small hissing cat. All defensive posture, narrowed eyes, and aggressive warnings. But Clyde knew better. He had already learned Micah’s weaknesses. Micah could glare and threaten all he wanted at first. But the mont you slipped past that defensive stage and touched his soft spot...

Micah would arch his back like a content cat being scratched and lt completely. The transformation was... quite obvious.

Micah noticed the look in Clyde’s eyes. A shiver ran down his spine instantly. Sothing about that expression felt dangerous. The skin along the inside of his thighs throbbed faintly, as though his body had rembered sothing before his mind could stop it.

Micah imdiately tightened the blanket around himself again, wrapping it securely around his shoulders and torso like armour. Then he scooted back slightly and stared at Clyde with deep suspicion. He looked exactly like a small animal guarding its territory.

Clyde chuckled quietly. He decided not to push his luck further tonight. Instead, he shifted backward and lay down comfortably on his side of the bed. With a casual motion, he reached over and switched off the nightstand light.

The room fell into darkness, illuminated only by the faint glow of city lights filtering through the curtains. Clyde folded one arm behind his head and closed his eyes. "Sleep," he said calmly.

His voice sounded relaxed now, as if he had completely dropped the teasing. "Tell tomorrow what you want to do." After a small pause, he added, "I promise I won’t try anything tonight."

Micah didn’t respond imdiately. He watched Clyde carefully in the dim light for several seconds. The man really did seem calm now. No mischievous movent. No suspicious gestures. Just lying there quietly with his eyes closed. After a while, Micah slowly lay down as well.

He pulled the blanket up to his chin and shut his eyes, trying to relax. The room was quiet. But falling asleep wasn’t that easy. Old habits were hard to break. Without realising it, Micah shifted slightly. Then he rolled onto his side. Then he turned again.

The movent repeated several tis as he tried to find a comfortable position. Finally, Clyde sighed. Without even opening his eyes, he reached over and grabbed Micah by the arm, pulling him firmly against his chest.

Micah stiffened in surprise for a brief mont. But almost imdiately... His body relaxed. As if sothing inside him had clicked back into place. The familiar warmth of Clyde’s arms around him felt strangely natural now. Comforting. Secure. Micah let out a small breath and settled into the embrace.

Within minutes, the tension drained from his body. And slowly, peacefully, he drifted off to sleep.
