Chapter 687: Pepper Said This Will Make You Happy

“No, no. It’s okay,” Jian Yiling replied. She didn’t not really care about the words of the Internet.

“What do you an by it’s okay? I’m your lackey! You should let deal with these things! This is my duty!”

An Yang firmly announced his role as a “lackey.”

However, despite saying that he was a lackey, his words were strong and confident. This made it sound like he was the boss.

“Yes, yes,” Hu Jiaojiao echoed as she nodded her head in a hurry.

“What... What do you guys plan to do?” Jian Yiling asked.

Her eyes were filled with doubt.

An Yang said: “We’ve brainstord about this already! We will secretly gather information about those who talked about you behind your back! Then, we will ask a hacker to publicize the information!”

An Yang had already thought this through. He was just short of putting the plan into action.

Hu Jiaojiao added: “Furthermore, we’re going to get a well known figure on the Internet to post sothing! We will make them understand that Master Sheng is not worthy of you! Not the opposite way around!”

Hu Jiaojiao and An Yang failed to think of a particularly good idea. However, they wanted to return the favor to the individuals that hid behind their screens.

An Yang continued to speak: “What’s good about Master Sheng anyway? He was just born into a good family! He’s not worthy of my boss! How dare they say that my boss is unworthy to be his fiancee?!”

When An Yang finished speaking, the two people in front of him didn’t say anything.

“What’s wrong? Why are you guys looking at like that? Did I say sothing wrong?”

“They’re probably looking at .”

Zhai Yunsheng’s voice ca from behind An Yang.

An Yang was instantly petrified.

Ahhh, it appeared as though Zhai Yunsheng was also at ho.

However, as he hadn’t co out, An Yang mistakenly assud that he wasn’t here.

“Master... Master Sheng...” An Yang stamred as he slowly turned around. When he saw Zhai Yunsheng’s light smile, An Yang swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

Zhai Yunsheng continued to smile at An Yang. He did not say a single word.

This made An Yang incredibly nervous.

Even though he was incredibly confident just now, he was still speaking about Master Sheng! Everyone in Beijing knew not to offend Master Sheng!

“Master Sheng... I was... I was speaking nonsense just now... I...” An Yang stamred. He was terrified.

Zhai Yunsheng’s smile was too damn frightening!

Ahhh, he knew he did the wrong thing.

At this mont, An Yang quietly lit up three incense sticks in his mind.

Perhaps, next year’s today would be his death anniversary.

Just when An Yang felt like he was going to have a heart attack, Zhai Yunsheng’s gaze moved away from his body.

All of a sudden, An Yang felt alive again.

An Yang and Hu Jiaojiao stayed with Jian Yiling for a while longer before they left.

After they left, Jian Yiling and Zhai Yunsheng went back to the study room and continued to work.

Usually, the two of them didn’t speak to each other much. However, sohow, their relationship was still incredibly harmonious.

For Zhai Yunsheng, this silent companionship was a hard-won luxury.

After so ti, Zhai Yunsheng got up to pour himself so water. When he ca back, he passed by Jian Yiling’s side.

“Wait for a mont,” Jian Yiling suddenly called out to Zhai Yunsheng.

Then, she got up and opened her arms before she wrapped her arms around Zhai Yunsheng.

Her arms circled his waist.

“What... What are you doing?” Zhai Yunsheng asked. He was shocked by Jian Yiling’s sudden movent.

One of his hands still held the glass of water. He did not know where to place his other hand.

“Pepper told to hug you ever so often. She said that this will make you happy. After all, you’re my fiance.”

“Pepper said that?”
