Chapter 679: Business Alliance
Everyone else hurriedly opposed to this:
“You shouldn’t speak of such nonsense. The Zhai family has been our leader ever since our Loyalty Alliance was ford. The Zhai family helped us maintain the foundation for our alliance for hundreds of years.”
The Loyalty Alliance had been around for hundreds of years now.

Nowadays, they were more like a business alliance.

The Loyalty Alliance remained strong today. In fact, most families only grew stronger as the years passed by. They closely followed the rules of their ancestors and abided by those rules. After all, everyone in the alliance had an inseparable relationship.

The others still objected to the man’s suggestion.
Then, the relatively fat old man said: “Unless the head of the Zhai family or matriarch is unable to fulfill their role, then I’m unwilling to break our ancestral traditions. The fundantals of our alliance should not be ruined.”
The young man laughed before he said: “Stop talking about ancestral traditions. The rules are dead, however, people are alive. Therefore, if we can not keep up with the tis, then our entire alliance will eventually be ruined. Furthermore, you guys have already seen the Zhai family’s gradual decline in power. To make matters worse, the future fiancee of Master Sheng does not appear to be of any help to our alliance. Furthermore, her appearance makes it seem like... Makes it seem like she probably can’t even take care of an ordinary family.”
Master Sheng’s fiancee appeared to look like a weak and softhearted girl. As a result, she wasn’t suited to be the matriarch of the Zhai family.
The girl was quite good-looking. People would want to protect her. However, that was not useful when it ca to being the matriarch of the Zhai family.
In this regard, everyone here agreed with the man’s point of view.
She seed way too weak. In fact, did she even have basic leadership skills? How would she possibly fulfill this role?
No one said anything for a long period of ti.
“However, if the Second Master of the Zhai family becos the head of the Zhai family, we can all forget about the things that I just said,” the young man added.
He wouldn’t have any objection if it was the Second Master of the Zhai family.
However, right now, all of them weren’t happy with Zhai Yunsheng and Jian Yiling.
Zhai Yunsheng had poor health. On the other hand, there was essentially nothing good about Jian Yiling.
