Lioro sat beside Yoriichi with a wide smile on his face.

"How about it Mr. Yoriichi, would you like to join my familia?"

"Familia..."

Yoriichi carefully went through everything Lioro told him.

'Another world...dungeon.... Gods..... magic...'

It all sounded incredible.

Like sothing straight out of a fairytale.

Yoriichi looked at Lioro's face.

Although he seed unreliable...

Yoriichi could tell Lioro's words were sincere.

Especially after he showed him that healing magic.

While Yoriichi was silently contemplating in his mind, Lioro was feeling terrible.

And there was but one reason for it.

The absence of mana in this world.

Yes this world which was identical to Earth, had no mana.

And just what exactly did that an?

Well simply put, he couldn't recover mana.

Yes, that ans after he emptied the mana currently stored inside his body, Lioro would completely run out of mana since he had no way to replenish it.

'I should have bought so mana recovery potion.....'

In Yggdrasil, there was no such thing as a mana recovery potion, but in Danmachi they existed.

Also, Lioro didn't know how to make a mana recovery potion, he can learn if he gets its recipe or reverse engineer it himself using the Alchemist knowledge he has.

While Lioro was thinking, Yoriichi finally opened his mouth and said.

"I'm sorry."

Yoriichi shook his head and denied Lioro's proposal.

But Lioro wasn't going to back down.

"Can you tell why?"

He has already imagined a future where Yoriichi was stylishly facing thousands of dungeon monsters alone.

Damn, it sounded cool.

No way he was letting Yoriichi go.

Fck he will kidnap him if he has to!

"You aren't from this world so you wouldn't know....there are demons here....."

Yoriichi's said.

"Demons are monsters who eat humans....."

He continued in a calm voice.

"And I believe I was born in this world to kill demons."

Lioro listened patiently.

Yoriichi raised his head and looked at the sun in the sky.

"Not long ago, I t a demon, he was different from the others, the mont I saw him, I knew he was my mortal enemy, the sole reason behind the birth of demons....."

"After killing him, I could have ended everything.....and yet I failed."

His face was calm, almost too calm.

"I failed and let him escape....."

"Even now I roam everywhere, trying to find that demon, but to no avail--"

"So let get this straight."

Lioro suddenly interjected, stopping Yoriichi.

Rubbing his hands together, Lioro continued with a business-like smile on his face.

"If I help you kill that demon, you will join my familia?"

Yoriichi's pupils constricted.

Then for the first ti in a long while, Yoriichi's facial expression changed.

Appearing extrely dignified.

He looked Lioro straight in the eye before declaring in a serious tone.

"If you help eliminate that demon..then no matter what you say....as long as it doesn't conflict with my morals...I will do."

Lioro smiled and casually waved his hand.

"You need not be so serious since you have agreed to join then both of us will be comrades in the future."

"Comrades?"

The word sounded foreign to Yoriichi.

From the beginning, he never had any true comrades.

As there were none who reached his level.

"Alright then just leave that MJ wannabe monster to !"

Standing up from the ground, Lioro pulled back his hair and smiled.

Yoriichi couldn't help but ask him.

"How are you going to find him?"

"Well, I can think of multiple ways but first....."

Lioro scratched his chin and then turned towards Yoriichi.

"Do you know any blacksmith's shop around?"

----

Inside a small blacksmith's shop.

The rhythmic sound of a hamr hitting tal rang out.

*Clank*

Yoriichi looked in silence as Lioro kept hamring down on a small piece of tal.

Inadvertently, his gaze landed on the owner of the shop who was kneeling on the ground, staring reverently at Lioro.

"Oh....oh! S-such technique....such precision..."

The blacksmith muttered in an almost possessed voice, unable to keep his eyes away from Lioro.

Yoriichi looked at Lioro again.

He did feel that Lioro was an expert Forger, but due to his lack of knowledge on the subject, he couldn't grasp the extent of Lioro's genius.

It didn't take long.

After less than ten minutes, two tallic rings appeared before their eyes.

There was just one more thing to do.

Ignoring Yoriichi and the blacksmith's gaze, Lioro used his active skill.

Miracle Creator.

Lioro's experience pool decreased, and then he raised the hamr in his hand and slamd it down on the tal rings.

As soon as the hamr collided with the ring, Blue colored sparks flew everywhere, startling Yoriichi and the blacksmith.

After the hit, Lioro placed the hamr on the side and picked up the ring in his hand.

His passive skill tal's Whisper activated.

----

Item: Ring Of Karma.

Tier: dium.

Description: A simple yet intricate ring crafted by the Divine Smith on a whim.

Added effect: Locates those with negative karma, the higher the negative karma the easier they are to find.

----

Well, he did make it a whim.

In fact, he could have just added the effect on an already completed object, but he wanted to give his new profession a try.

Anyway coming back to the point.

Lioro silently looked at the amount of experience he just consud to give the ring its added effect.

400,000 experience.

Damn!

But then again the effect was quite versatile.

Still!

400,000 experience!

It was daylight robbery!

It takes him almost half a day to earn that much!

Complaining in his mind, Lioro pit on the ring.

And almost instantly he felt several auras in the distance.

'That should be Muzan...'

Lioro instantly locked onto a particular aura that was much deeper and darker than others.

'Damn he's far away, Yoriichi must have scared him shitless.'

"I found him, Let's go."

Yoriichi tightly held the sword in his hand and followed behind Lioro.

----

A middle-aged man with distinct red eyes and a pale white face was walking down the street, with an open umbrella in his hand,

His looks were extraordinary, wherever he passed, the woman couldn't help but stop and give him another look.

Ignoring the gazes of those around him, the middle-aged man made his way forward with an expressionless look on his face.

Just then the rays of the sun were blocked by sothing, casting a shadow on the whole street.

Thinking it to be a random cloud in the air, the man didn't care and continued his way.

That was until....he saw the shocked expression of those around him.

Feeling confused he stopped and turned around, following their gaze.

And what he saw.

Was sothing he couldn't have possibly expected.

It was a terribly large monster made up of skeletons flying in the sky.

Akin to a bird, it kept flapping its massive bone wings without any flesh, sohow keeping itself afloat.

It was a monster straight out of a nightmare.

A skeleton dragon.

The crowd was horrified.

They all started running away in panic.

Suddenly a loud voice ca from the monster's back.

"There he is! Get him!"

The skeleton dragon's red eyes turned towards him.

The middle-aged man who was Muzan in disguise, couldn't help but instinctively take a step back.

Although he couldn't understand what was happening, he knew the best course of action was to quickly run away.

But before he could move.

A figure jumped out from the skeleton dragon's back.

Looking at the approaching person Muzan froze.

His knees instantly beca weak and he fell on his back.

His will to survive scread at him, shouting at him to run away.

Unfortunately, it was too late as Yoriichi was already in front of him.

Seeing Yoriichi's cold face up close, Muzan started trembling.

"You who plays with human life like nothing..."

Yoriichi continued in a heavy voice

"You who enjoys slaughter....."

He tightly grabbed his sword making veins appear all over his forehead.

"I will not repeat my mistake."

Yoriichi pulled out his sword.

Muzan pissed his pants.

"Die."

Without any bloodlust, hatred, joy, or any such emotions, Yoriichi slashed out.

Muzan's survival instincts activated, making his body split into pieces to sohow escape.

But this ti...

Yoriichi didn't miss a single one.

Ending the life of his nesis.

The ancestor of demons.

Muzan Kibutsuji.

Died just like that.

So easy...yet so difficult.....

The image of his dead wife and their unborn child passed through Yoriichi's mind.

Yoriichi stood in silence, quietly staring at the place where Muzan died.

anwhile, Lioro was sitting on top of the skeleton dragon's head, biting down on the burger in his hands.

'Damn, I'm feeling emotional....'

He just witnessed the end of the future demon lord at Yoriichi's hand.

Lioro couldn't help but take another bite from the burger.

Well, he could have just ended Muzan himself, but where's the fun in that?

Hell he even blocked the sun for their fight using the skeleton dragon so that Muzan wouldn't randomly combust.

After so ti, Yoriichi turned around and raised his head, looking at him.

Lioro hurriedly stuffed the rest of the burger in his mouth and jumped down from the skeleton dragon's head.

Landing on the ground, Lioro walked towards Yoriichi and stopped in front of him.

Looking at Yoriichi's stoic face, Lioro asked in a small voice.

"Are you okay?..."

Yoriichi nodded his head.

"I am fine."

"Oh....."

Lioro blinked and carefully looked at Yoriichi's face.

Alas, he wasn't a detective and couldn't find anything.

"So.....you ready to go?"

Lioro asked, ignoring the running citizens around them.

Instead of replying, Yoriichi lowered his head and bowed deeply towards Lioro.

"You have my thanks.....truly..."

"It's okay! it's okay! We're part of the sa family now so it doesn't matter!"

Lioro ca close to him and started patting Yoriichi's back in a friendly manner.

'Family?.....'

A small light passed through Yoriichi's clear eyes before disappearing.

Raising his head, Yoriichi looked at Lioro before pointing at the skeleton dragon in the sky and asking.

"Then....can you tell what that is?"

"That's a skeleton dragon, pretty cool right? It's my summon."

"Summon?"

"Yes it's like a friendly animal you can spawn, he's a pretty chill guy."

Lioro raised his hand and waved at the skeleton dragon.

Skeleton dragon tilted his head before waving back at him.

The citizens around them scread in fear.

Yoriichi silently looked at the skeleton dragon before comnting.

"It looks evil."

Skeleton Dragon lowered his head, feeling hurt.

"Hey, don't say that. Without him, we wouldn't have reached this place so quickly."

Lioro comnted.

"Ah...you're right....I apologize."

Yoriichi bowed towards the skeleton dragon.

Skeleton Dragon shook his head, expressing he didn't mind.

Yoriichi curiously looked at the skeleton dragon, before turning back to Lioro.

"I am ready to follow you."

"Then let's go."

Loro smiled, desummoned the skeleton dragon then grabbed Yoriichi's arm and dissapeared from the spot.
