Jeff Ferguson was one of the most famous strears in all of Arigo. With a whopping fifty million followers, he could pull in nearly a hundred thousand concurrent viewers every ti he went live.
Today was no exception, because he was about to undertake the insane challenge of infiltrating New York's most dangerous, most hellish prison—Rikers Island Prison!
This prison was notorious for its violence and chaos, averaging two deaths per month—truly a legendary source of disorder.
Of course, as a wealthy and famous ga-strear, Jeff had actually prepared well in advance. He had bribed multiple prison guards and had also greased the palms of Warden Anger Boda.
While he claid this was his most dangerous stunt yet, in reality, he had already neutralized all potential risks.
Now, all he needed to do was put on his performance!
"Wow!" Jeff shouted loudly as his opening line. "I swear to God, this will be the craziest thing I've ever done in my life! Jumping from thousands of ters in the air, with a prison as my landing target—this is just too thrilling!"
"But you all know —I'm Crazy Jeff! This is exactly the kind of madness I live for. So now... watch closely!"
"Yahoo!" Amid the astonished gazes of his hundred thousand followers, Jeff leaped without any hesitation!
The pre-dawn sky still held scattered stars that hadn't yet faded, while between those twinkling stars, the first hints of morning light were becoming visible.
As Jeff jumped, the cara began rapidly switching angles, and chat ssages appeared on his assistant's screen up in the sky.
"Who gave you permission to take along on this jump?"
"Wow, this feeling is amazing!"
"Cool, this is so cool! Truly worthy of Crazy Jeff!"
"Wait, is that an explosion down below? Hey Jeff, look down!"
Suddenly, one particular chat ssage caught the assistant's attention. He imdiately contacted Jeff to relay what was appearing in the chat.
Jeff naturally dismissed it. "Hey, buddy! Don't panic. It's probably just flashing lights or kitchen fires. This is New York's most secure prison—how could there possibly be an explosion..."
Then his gaze fell upon the scene at the ground-level prison, and he stopped protesting. "What the hell... there really is an explosion?"
Following his line of sight, the cara stopped flipping through the sky with him and instead focused on the ground. They saw dazzling white light and explosive flashes erupting from the island beneath their feet!
His face turned pale. "Wait wait wait wait wait... Didn't they promise this prison was safe, that nothing would happen? How? Why..."
His reaction thoroughly pleased the live stream viewers!
"Not bad, not bad! Haven't seen Jeff deliver such masterful acting in a long ti!"
"Stop pretending! Everyone knows Crazy Jeff is actually Acting Jeff. Is this another one of your scripts?"
"The acting is convincing, and the lines are good too. Jeff is finally putting effort into fooling us!"
Hearing these comnts through his earpiece, Jeff was dumbfounded. He yelled at his assistant, "They think it's fake, and you do too? Damn it, I think I'm going to die! Shit!"
He shouted loudly, "Help locate the prison's tallest building! I can't land in the square, or I'll really die!"
Only then did the assistant snap to attention, asking loudly, "Should we cut the stream? This is a major incident!"
Hearing this, the audience protested vehently:
"What? This is real? Oh my God, Jeff, if you dare cut the stream, I'll kick your ass hard!"
"Exactly! If it's real, we want to see it! If you don't show us, we'll take off our boots and shove them up your ass!"
"I'll donate a hundred thousand right now! Don't you dare close the stream!"
Hearing these words, Jeff took a deep breath. The madness from his early streaming days surged back into his mind. "Alright! Crazy Jeff will go crazy one more ti today! I'll be your war correspondent and show you exactly where the explosions are coming from in Rikers Island Prison!"
As he spoke, he pulled his parachute's safety cord, transforming into a large cloud floating above the prison.
He was a highly skilled skydiving expert—he had spent tens of thousands of dollars just learning how to parachute.
So even during his descent, he could still maneuver the cara to capture what was happening inside the prison.
But with just one look, he let out a trendous exclamation: "My God... what kind of monster is that?"
Before him, a terrifying dark creature was fully revealing its form!
This was a monster roughly four to five ters tall. It had a goat-like head, but its body was humanoid. Its back bore bat wings spanning a full ten ters, and its feet weren't human feet at all, but rather a peculiar kind of hoof!
Black flas wreathed the monster's body, making it appear even more horrifying and dreadful!
[Demon Form]
"A demon?" soone in the live stream cautiously comnted.
After all, this was a country that revered mystery, and these were stories they'd grown up hearing. So many people imdiately recognized the monster before them.
Then followed a prolonged silence—from Jeff, his assistant, and the stream viewers alike.
Fortunately, Jeff had sharp eyes and spotted sothing else.
As the parachute descended, the scene beca clearer, revealing more details. "That is..."
Jeff and his viewers together witnessed more of the scene. They saw the source of the explosions—two armored vehicles launching grenades.
They also saw prison guards ard to the teeth, throwing Molotov cocktails and grenades, appearing highly professional.
But all of this seed sowhat mundane compared to the man standing before them!
This was a man glowing from head to toe. He stood before the prison guards, riding what appeared to be a warhorse made of light, wielding a spear composed of light, and began charging toward the massive demon!
"In the na of the Lord of Hosts!" he declared loudly. As he spoke these words, his body erupted with even more intense radiance, incredibly conspicuous in the still-dark night.
Seeing this knight charging toward him, the demon chose the simplest response—raising both hands to clash directly with the opponent's spear!
"Boom!" The impact was audible—deafening and violent. The collision was visible—earth-shaking and brilliant!
This clash was indeed sowhat excessively brilliant. The white light and black flas colliding produced a sound no less intense than the earlier explosions.
"My God!" Jeff exclaid in awe. He wasn't a devout believer, but at this mont, he uttered his most pious exclamation.
Beyond him, the live stream viewers shared similar reactions.
Whether viewers in Arigo or other regions, everyone expressed astonishnt.
While many still believed this was fake—just special effects and performances arranged by the strear—many others felt this might actually be real!
No matter how wealthy Jeff was, he couldn't possibly convince an entire prison's guards to wield such powerful weapons and participate in this kind of performance with him!
Moreover, as they watched this man radiating white light, for so reason, they felt a sense of peace and tranquility that comforted them greatly.
It was as if this white light could make them feel illuminated!
"Honey, co see God!"
"Mom, Dad, there's a demon in the live stream!"
"My hair! Record this, record it quickly! I can feel this is going to be massive traffic!"
The live stream instantly descended into chaos. Regardless of their perceptions, everyone's engagent sent the stream's popularity skyrocketing wildly!
The most direct effect of this surge in popularity was the explosive growth in the Wish Force that Bai Yang was receiving at this very mont!
After all, this was a nation composed of Christians, and in this Christian nation, the most clearly defined concepts were naturally angels and demons!
The battle between knight and demon had perfectly captured their excitent, making everyone leap to their feet, staring intently at their screens, watching with rapt attention!
