Then her attention shifted inward, toward the subtle transformations within her body. The abilities of Sequence 5 — Dreamwalker, had taken root within her. And with it ca abilities far more insidious than raw might:
Alteration:The ability to plant seeds inside another’s dream, slowly reshaping their heart and mind without their awareness. It was gentle, furtive, impossible to guard against with brute force. A whisper that could corrupt even a Demigod if given ti.
Qian Renxue’s smile deepened at the thought , how many so-called geniuses of the continent would dance like puppets once she rewrote their subconscious?
Guidance: To perceive and twist another’s dream, nudging them to reveal their deepest secrets while they slept. Guidance was subtle, parasitic — a lantern in the darkness that drew its prey willingly closer.
Dream Traversal: A step beyond the material. She could shed her physical form, slipping into the intangible fabric of dreams, weaving between one sleeping mind and the next so long as they lay within 500 ters. A hidden passageway, a spy’s paradise, and an assassin’s nightmare.
Qian Renxue’s hand gently brushed her hair.
“Sleep, dreams, subconscious desires…”.
Her eyes, now glowing purple, shimred as she whispered to herself.
----
While Qian Renxue was pleased with the surge of her powers, she remained unaware of how the world had shifted in the three days she slept.
She rose from the bed, and stepped out into the corridor. The wooden door creaked softly as it opened.
Two guards stood outside, their hands clasped in devout prayer. Their lips trembled with reverence, whispering words of worship.
Qian Renxue’s eyes softened, a faint smile curving her lips. She stepped forward without a word.
The sudden sound of her footsteps broke their trance. Both guards looked up, startled. One of them, voice choked with emotion, said:
“Young Master—”
Qian Renxue lifted her hand, silencing him without a word. The authority in her movents carried the weight, there was no need for words.
She walked past them, each step asured and graceful. As she moved through the long corridor of the Angel Corps’ headquarters, she noticed them one by one: Soul Masters kneeling in alcoves, standing in silent devotion, hands clasped in ritual prayer. Their murmurs drifted like incense smoke through the air.
Qian Renxue’s purple eyes flickered.
‘So that’s what it was…’
‘All of them, my anchors. Their prayers tied to this reality, pulled back from that endless dreamscape. Without them…’
She felt a faint chill at the thought, a rare tremor of unease.
‘Without them, who knows how long I would have wandered before I found my way out…’
Her hand brushed her chest lightly as she exhaled, controlling her expression.
Resolving herself, she whispered inwardly,
‘For the next advancent… I will not take chances.‘
---
“Uncle She Long, till when will you hide?” Qian Renxue’s calm voice echoed faintly along the corridor as she walked with unhurried steps.
Her tone was a little indifferent, but her words cut straight through the silence. With her current level of spiritual perception, the faint presence trailing her since she left the chamber was as obvious as a torch in the dark.
A tall figure appeared instantly, his body flickering from the shadows. He bent down respectfully, his voice deep, “Young Master…”
Qian Renxue’s purple eyes swept over him once, her expression as placid as still water. She did not linger on formalities. Her purple eyes glead as she cut straight to the point.
“Where is Uncle Ci Xue? Did sothing happen while I was asleep?”
She Long hesitated for a brief mont, as though weighing his words carefully under the oppressive clarity of her gaze. Finally, he lowered his head.
“When we discovered you lying in your chambers, we were… panicked. But after several examinations, it was clear—you weren’t hard. You were rely asleep.”
She Long inhaled deeply, then confessed, “However… you slept for three days without any signs of waking up. That frightened us. Ci Xue believed this matter could not be ignored, so he decided to report it directly to the Great Worshiper.”
Qian Renxue’s brow arched slightly, though her expression remained serene.
“When did he leave, then?”
“An hour ago, at most.” She Long’s answer was imdiate, instinctive.
For a mont, silence stretched between them. Then, a slow smile curved Qian Renxue’s lips.
“Then we still have ti.”
Her golden hair rippled as she stepped past him. She Long blinked and was startled by what he saw. The guards in the distance widened their eyes in disbelief as her body lifted smoothly off the ground.
She Long’s pupils contracted. “Young Master…?”
Titled Douluo were able to fly because their soul power reached an entirely different quality, condensing and transforming until it could be used to float and propel through the air.
And now, Qian Renxue, though only eight years old, rose steadily into the skies as if it was the most natural thing in the world. The quality of her soul power has reached the level beyond a normal Titled Douluo.
Qian Renxue said “ Uncle She Long , why don’t we race and find out, who will reach the Spirit City faster.”
The mont she said that, Qian Renxue flew away with a very fast speed , as if it was not her first ti flying.
She Long also stirred the silent soul power in his body and flew behind her to catch up.
