The woman eyed the prices. “These aren’t cheap. Homade ones cost half as much. Can you give a discount?”

She huffed but relented. “Fine. Five chive-egg and five carrot-egg. Throw in a free one?”

Before Jiang Feng could respond, Youyou shuffled over, eyes wide.

“Daddy, I’m hungry… But I won’t eat any. You said we need to sell them all, right?”

“Am I being good?”

The woman’s heart lted. “You can’t starve the kid, no matter how tight money is!”

“Just pack mine. If they’re good, I’ll be back.”

Youyou clung to Jiang Feng’s leg, grinning mischievously.

He stifled a laugh.

Five minutes later, he handed the woman two paper bags with 10 buns.

She paid via QR code.

“Alipay received: 20 yuan.”

“Co again!”

As she left, Jiang Feng served 40 more buns to the office workers.

They attacked the food like wolves.

Youyou watched, then advised, “Uncles, eat slower! Daddy says less is better for your stomachs.”

“I’m coming too!”

Rush Hour

By 6:26 AM, the office workers ate slower but lingered, wishing for eight stomachs.

Then—six elderly custors stord in, demands flying:

“10 beef buns!”

“5 fennel-pork, 5 chive-egg, 5 carrot-egg! No zucchini filling?”

“20 chive-egg! 10 pork-scallion!”

“Hurry—my family’s fighting over the last batch!”

Jiang Feng scrambled.

Stears hissed open, revealing fresh batches.

The elders shared samples—then escalated their orders:

Each bun was hefty—4-5 filled an adult—but they bought dozens for families.
