"See, the artifact is fake!" The chief eunuch couldn't wait and said.
"Are you all right?" Lin Fan stepped forward and helped the Left Pri Minister up.
The Left Pri Minister gave out another cough, turned to Lin Fan and said, "Don't worry. My old injury is acting up as usual. Let try again."
He knew sothing wasn't right when he saw what had happened.
It would be a catastrophe if Lu Ding were killed and the Qing Feng Sect frad as traitors.
He had to prevent the Emperor from stepping into greater trouble for all the citizens.
So, no matter what, he had to be able to prove that the artifact was in fact able to enable anyone to perform the Twirling Wind Strike.
He slowly picked up the sword and took a deep breath.
The artifact on his wrist glowed and he pulled back his arm.
Inside the imperial court, there was only dead silence as everyone held their breath.
They knew what it ant if the Left Pri Minister was able to unleash a twirling wind.
No one dared to even blink their eyes, in case they missed sothing.
When the Left Pri Minister was finally able to garner enough Qi into the artifact, he thrust the sword at the empty wall.
Whoosh.
A twirling wind shot out from the sword and went towards the empty wall.
Thud.
It tried to drill into the empty wall but couldn't.
The Left Pri Minister's Qi wasn't sufficient to do so.
Gasp.
Officials in the imperial hall looked at each other.
No one dared to say a word, fearing that saying sothing wrong would cost them their lives.
They could even hear each other's breathing sounds and rustling of their uniforms.
Things were now beyond their expectations.
"So what if the artifact can generate the twirling wind strike. For all we know, it might have been the Qing Feng Sect that forged these artifacts!"
Although he was in a panic, the chief eunuch stood forward, shouted and accused the Qing Feng Sect.
It should be able to buy him so ti or cast so doubts onto the Qing Feng Sect.
It worked as the officials nodded their heads to this.
Anyone could have forged the artifacts, including the Qing Feng Sect.
"Yeah, I heard the Qing Feng Sect's artifact peak lord is from the Artifact Mountains, he could have easily forged these."
"What the chief eunuch said is right."
"Let's see what they have to say about this."
The Left Pri Minister wanted to say sothing, but Lin Fan shook his head and helped him back to the front of the throne.
"The chief eunuch is right. What more do you have to say about the artifacts? Did the Qing Feng Sect forge it to deny plausibility?" The Emperor narrowed his eyes, pointed at Lin Fan and asked.
Lin Fan smirked and took out two wooden chests from his storage artifact.
"The Formation Peak Lord, Zhao Ming Ye, will help with this." He put down the wooden chests and said.
The Emperor glanced over at the chief eunuch.
Shaking his head vigorously, the chief eunuch didn't want Lin Fan to do anything more.
What's inside the wooden chests mustn't have been anything good for his cause. The chief eunuch thought.
But before the Emperor could say anything, Lin Fan opened the wooden chests.
When the chief eunuch saw what was inside, he fell onto his four limbs.
"You… You…"
"Why are you so scared?" Lin Fan smirked and asked.
The chief eunuch turned his head away as the hollow eyes of Hong Liu and Hong Cheng sent chills down his spine.
He crawled on his fours and got next to the Emperor, "Your Majesty! This man is crazy! Sentence him to death now!"
He pleaded with the Emperor, trying to get rid of Lin Fan as soon as possible.
The Emperor frowned and looked at the officials in the imperial court.
They were now in doubt when they saw the chief eunuch's reaction.
Officials that were loyal to the Left Pri Minister began to sow seeds of doubt amongst them.
"If the chief eunuch has nothing to hide, why is he so anxious?"
"I think it's ti these eunuchs' powers be restricted."
"They've led the Emperor astray ever since the late Emperor passed away."
"Only the Left Pri Minister is trying his best."
Amidst the chaos, Lin Fan had helped rip off the Qi suppressing bracelet from his wrist and Zhao Ming Ye had already set up his mory Recall formation array.
A bright glow shot up into the ceiling, and a light pillar appeared.
Imageries then appeared with sound.
What the chief eunuch saw horrified him.
From Hong Liu's point of view, the chief eunuch visited him.
"Chief Eunuch, what brings you here to the Artifact Mountains? The Hong Family would be more than glad to be of service."
Hong Liu bowed and said to the chief eunuch who was dressed in disguise.
Standing beside Hong Liu was Hong Cheng, pouring a cup of tea for the chief eunuch.
The chief eunuch then briefed them on his purpose of visit.
"I need you to forge artifacts that are easily hidden and could enable those who wield them to unleash a twirling wind, just like the Qing Feng Sect's Twirling Wind Strike."
"Huh. Qing Feng Sect's Twirling Wind Strike?" Hong Liu couldn't believe his ears when he heard the chief eunuch's request.
"Don't ask so much. Do you not know who I'm speaking for?" The chief eunuch said and clapped his hands.
Two young eunuchs ca into the room that they were in with a huge chest.
Plop.
They put down the chest box and opened it up.
The room shined brightly with the glears of gold and jewelry in the huge chest.
"Father, look!" Hong Cheng couldn't stop himself and he went up to the chest of gold and jewelry.
Hong Liu sighed silently as he knew he didn't have any other options left.
It was to deliver or face death, just because he knew what the chief eunuch wanted.
"We will get it done and delivered." Hong Liu nodded and said.
"Make sure the artifact cultivators are killed off after it is done."
After that, the imagery and sounds disappeared from the light pillar.
"What do you have to say now?" Lin Fan pointed at the chief eunuch and said.
