"What’s going on here?"

"What was that sound? Was there an explosion nearby? Or maybe an accident?"

"Doesn’t seem like it. There’s no sign of an explosion or anything."

The guests whispered among themselves, suspecting sothing had gone wrong with the filming crew.

Yet the explosion hadn’t caused much panic—it hadn’t seed like sothing dangerous or worth alarming over.

"Sian, Sian, can you hear ? Look at ."

Lan Qisheng cupped Sian’s face, forcing him to et his gaze.

"Lan Qisheng," Sian murmured, his voice trembling. But no one could tell whether it trembled from fear... or a deep-seated hatred.

"We need to get out of here."

"Now."

Sian’s dark, sharp gaze turned dangerous. His voice—hoarse and rough—sent a chill down Lan Qisheng’s spine, as though it scraped against sothing deep in his soul.

"What do you an ’get out’? Sian, explain first. We need to understand before we act. You’re not alone—you can rely on us, even a little."

Lan Qisheng released his face and brushed a strand of hair from Sian’s cheek. His ocean-blue eyes were calm and gentle—just like their owner.

Sian took a deep breath, finally regaining control over the storm raging inside his chest and mind.

"He Jinyun called. They captured an important mber of the organization and uncovered their plan."

Sian closed his eyes, the words grinding through his clenched teeth.

"Those bastards... They’re planning to release a deadly virus on the entire island. He Jinyun’s n couldn’t locate the virus caches. If they succeed, not just the island—

The entire world will be at ri—"

"Aaaahhh! Sobody help !"

A bloodcurdling scream pierced the cheerful atmosphere. It was so loud, so terrifying, that everyone instinctively turned toward the source.

And then ca the shock.

[What the hell? Is this... part of the show?]

[I don’t know, bro... It looks real to .]

[No way. This can’t be real...]

Everyone froze—the guests, the cara crew, even the security guards.

For five long seconds, silence.

Nothing could be heard but the girl’s broken, terrified screams.

And how could she not be terrified?

Her boyfriend—her lover—was sinking his teeth savagely into her shoulder.

Deeply, he had bitten, and he tore a chunk of flesh straight out.

Blood gushed down her pale arm like a crimson waterfall. The damage... was grotesque.

"What are you all standing around for? Move!"

"Lan Qisheng, Jiao Liangchen—stop that man! Don’t let him touch your skin. No—kill him. Kill him now!"

Sian’s voice bood, snapping the two n out of their frozen state.

Fortunately, they recovered quickly from his words. Both had seen death and blood before—or they’d still be standing there like statues.

Still... they’d never seen anything like this.

Cannibals?

Surely not.

Those kinds of flesh-eating monsters didn’t exist—they were just fantasy.

...At least they had been, before this man devoured his girlfriend’s shoulder like a rabid beast.

The two n finally sprang into action. Despite the horrifying circumstances, their combat training allowed them to restrain the man quickly.

As for killing him?

They couldn’t. Not with the caras still rolling.

Killing soone live on air? Impossible.

"I told you to end him," Sian muttered, walking toward them with slow, heavy steps.

Jiao Liangchen had used his own tie to bind the man’s wrists.

Sian’s footsteps echoed across the hall, each heavier than a mountain.

For so reason, everyone instinctively stepped aside.

If Sian could see himself in a mirror right now, he’d understand why.

He looked like a demon—fresh from hell.

"Sian... we’re still live streaming," Jiao Liangchen said quickly, beating Lan Qisheng by a split second.

"Live? Does it matter?"

Sian suddenly smiled—but it wasn’t a smile.

It was more like a soundless, tearless sob.

His mouth curled upward, but nothing about his face looked happy.

Lan Qisheng’s heart skipped a beat.

"Sian..." he whispered, staring at the approaching figure.

Sian paused at the sound of his na. For the hundredth ti, he exhaled sharply.

"Damn it."

"Ugh!"

"Sian! What the hell are you doing!"

Lan Qisheng rushed forward and grabbed Sian’s bloody hands.

In rage, Sian had smashed the glass on the table with his bare hand.

"I’m fine," he snapped.

"You’re not fine!" Lan Qisheng shot back, trying to wrap a handkerchief around Sian’s bleeding hand.

"You’ve been acting off ever since that bastard called. Don’t tell you’re fine!"

He muttered under his breath, "I’ll beat the shit out of him when I see him."

"Lan Qisheng, I said I’m fine. Listen to —we need to get off this island, but before that..."

Sian pulled his hand away.

"Sian, stop bein—"

Lan Qisheng’s words were cut short.

Not by choice—Sian shoved sothing into his mouth.

It was his own wounded hand.

The taste of rust filled Lan Qisheng’s mouth. His eyes widened as he realized—

Sian had just forced him to drink his blood.

"Mmmpfh!"

He tried to speak but couldn’t.

Sian pushed his hand in further.

"Don’t fight it. Just drink. I don’t know if my blood retains its properties, but if it does, this could help you, you idiot."

After forcing a fair amount of blood into him, Sian let go. Lan Qisheng choked slightly.

"Sian, have you lost your mind?! Why the hell did you make drink your blood?"

But Sian ignored the furious idiot.

He didn’t have ti for explanations.

They needed to move—now—or it would be too late to escape.

Sian approached Jiao Liangchen, who was still gripping the arm of the cannibal boyfriend, his eyes silently absorbing the scene.

Seeing his calm expression, Sian raised an eyebrow.

"You gonna drink it yourself, or do I have to shove it in your mouth too?"

Jiao Liangchen: "..."

Why did that sound so wrong?

He sighed softly and looked into Sian’s amber eyes—eyes like the setting sun.

Knowing Sian’s nature and powers, Jiao Liangchen didn’t hesitate. He trusted him completely.

He opened his mouth and stuck his tongue out slightly, like a guest awaiting a sacred offering.

Sian’s cold gaze finally relaxed. He stepped forward and raised his hand toward the man’s mouth.

Lan Qisheng, now recovering, watched the whole scene unfold.

Sian—feeding his blood to another man. That man—drinking it greedily, like a damn vampire.

"You bastard—"

"Let go of him!"

Just as Lan Qisheng was about to draw his gun and put a bullet between the pervert’s eyes—

Sian withdrew his hand, calmly wrapping it with a handkerchief.

"Now... let’s move."
