Chapter 930: Chapter 930: The So-Called Good Play_1 Chapter 930: Chapter 930: The So-Called Good Play_1 Mr. Ghost Hayes cowered in place, silent, his eyes rolling about in their sockets, his gaze flickering.

Although he looked sowhat sordid, he was after all an elderly man who had lived over half a century. Purple Sumrs thought that punching and kicking him was really disrespectful to his age, so she acted as the peacemaker and tugged on Alexander Sumrs, “Shall we talk inside?”

Alexander, however, wrapped his arm around her and walked back, waving his hand, “It’s too late today, let’s lock him up for now, and talk tomorrow.”

Manager Charles hesitated and looked towards Purple Sumrs.

The people sent by Christopher Simonson were essentially different from those of Zack Wallace.

They were all trained guards with military backgrounds, most with a military background, so they were very much by the book.

Illegal confinent was certainly against their principles.

But the face of her own man was important, so Purple Sumrs quickly said, “Right, lock him up! This man… uh, he owes us a lot of money, and we need to have a good talk with him tomorrow!”

At the end she added, “Take him to the room near the tulip garden.”

There was a small house near the tulip garden where Mrs. Douglas used to live—an accommodated place with all living necessities, so it wouldn’t be too bad for Mr. Ghost Hayes to stay there.

The bodyguard took Mr. Ghost Hayes away, and Purple Sumrs hurriedly asked Alexander, “How did you find him?!”

“There are only so many places that Damian Howard uses to hide people — I could find them with my eyes closed,” Alexander Sumrs said with a disdainful tone and was quite arrogant.

Purple Sumrs asked again, “But you had Jero Howard catch him, won’t Damian Howard harm him if he finds out?”

“I told him to hide,” Alexander Sumrs ruffled Purple Sumrs’ hair and laughed, “There’s going to be a good show tomorrow. Just wait and see.”

Purple Sumrs was filled with doubt.

But since Alexander was deliberately keeping her in suspense, Purple Sumrs couldn’t get any clear answers and had no choice but to close her eyes and sleep until dawn.

When daylight arrived, there was one less person beside the bed.

Alexander was not there.

Purple Sumrs broke out in a cold sweat.

“Where is he?!” Purple Sumrs asked the steward.

Cedric Spencer said, “Mr. Sumrs left before dawn, he didn’t say where he went.”

Purple Sumrs couldn’t help but get angry, “Didn’t you send a few people to follow him?! What if sothing happens!”

Manager Charles remained silent.

Having followed Purple Sumrs for a while, he had recognized that she was usually gentle and compliant, never made a fuss over anything, but whenever it ca to that man, she turned into a tigress who had lost her cub, frantically anxious.

“Miss, Mr. Sumrs didn’t want us to follow him,” Manager Charles said.

Purple Sumrs was agitated and grabbed her phone to call Alexander.

Fortunately, the call was answered after only two rings.

There was a loud wind noise from Alexander’s side, buzzing loudly.

“Where are you?” Purple Sumrs guessed and asked, “By the river?”

“You’re awake?” The voice of Alexander Sumrs contained laughter, and then he seed to speak to soone else, saying, “… Mmh, she’s really clingy, can’t leave for a second.”

Purple Sumrs, teased, instantly blushed and wished she could smash her phone!

Just then she heard Alexander Sumrs affectionately say, “I’ll be back soon, wait for at ho, be good.”

Purple Sumrs hung up the phone, flustered and annoyed.

Looking up again at Manager Charles wearing a puzzled expression, Purple Sumrs turned her face away and muttered, “It’s nothing, you can go.”

Ever since Alexander Sumrs lost his mory, he had never left her side, and this sudden departure made Purple Sumrs suspect he was up to sothing.

Thinking of the “good show” Alexander Sumrs had ntioned the day before, Purple Sumrs was both curious and worried. She thought carefully, felt sowhat uncertain, and once again picked up her phone to check the news of the day.

Indeed, she discovered the so-called “good show” —

A scandal had broken out in the Howard Family: Jero Howard had disappeared.

That was not the big news; the key point was that an anonymous source claid that the family head of the Howard Family was selecting talented youngsters from the younger generation, wanting to use so sort of forbidden ritual to find a suitable body for himself.

Jero Howard had learned of this news, which was why he had been so frightened that he went into hiding.
