Chapter 929: Chapter 929 Run_1 Chapter 929: Chapter 929 Run_1 Alexander Sumrs’s words were just in jest.

In all the years he headed the Howard Family, although he had angered both heaven and man, his chilling thods made most people talk of him with a change of color, trembling in fear.

Alexander was destined to be a hero in tis of chaos. What does it an to be a hero in tis of chaos? It ans that the more turbulent the tis, the more he could achieve, while in tis of peace and prosperity, he would end up leading a diocre life.

The fact that Damon Howard had used so many thods yet failed to kill him further validated how outrageous Alexander’s fate was, and those in the business tended to be superstitious, which added another layer to his already formidable reputation.

Jero Howard knew he was just a minor character; he didn’t dare to provoke Damian, let alone Roy Howard.

If Roy had appeared before him as disheveled as a rat in hiding, perhaps Jero would have snitched to Damian. But Roy showed up before him with great confidence and even invited him over, causing Jero to not dare make a move.

Those thoughts, he didn’t even dare to think them.

How could he not recognize the president’s daughter when he saw her leaving? The young Miss had just won her lawsuit, and the news dia had praised her to the skies; who wouldn’t recognize her?

Seeing the spotted python at her feet, Jero suddenly rembered the crocodile pond Roy had built. He shivered then, his legs going weak!

He felt that this couple, one outdoing the other in ruthlessness, must not be offended at any cost!

That very night, Jero brought soone over, following Alexander Sumrs’s instructions.

The person was stuffed in a burlap sack, thrown with a thud at the front gate from a car, then the vehicle sped away in the darkness, all within less than a minute.

The bodyguard imdiately inford the steward.

The steward imdiately told Purple Sumrs.

Purple Sumrs had just fallen asleep and, after being woken up, was too lazy to get up, weakly pushing Alexander to go check.

Alexander got up and dressed, saying, “Jero has sent a gift.”

“What kind of gift in the middle of the night…” Purple Sumrs murmured with her eyes closed.

Alexander leaned down to kiss her, then turned and went out.

Purple Sumrs continued to lie in bed, but as she slept, she felt sothing was amiss. Her mind gradually sharpened, she quickly wrapped herself in a robe and got out of bed to follow Alexander.

In the middle of the night, why would Jero co to send a gift? Could it be a trick?

Purple Sumrs wasn’t afraid of anything but Alexander getting into trouble!

The man in front, tall and long-legged, had already reached the gate by the ti Purple Sumrs caught up with him.

The cylindrical streetlights stood tall and bright, casting the climbing rose vines on either side in a fresh vibrant green, while making the flat road in front of the gate appear all the more pristine white.

In the middle of the road lay a burlap sack, earthy yellow in color, occasionally twitching without sound.

The bodyguard untied the sack to reveal an old man, his mouth gagged tightly with cloth, unable to speak, only his eyes darting around incessantly, looking very restless.

When the old man saw Alexander, he first froze, then his eyes widened in terror, and despite having his hands and feet bound, he struggled desperately trying to escape.

Alexander grabbed the collar of his shirt with one hand and dragged him straight towards the house.

Purple Sumrs, walking beside Alexander, finally recognized the man.

“Mr. Ghost Hayes?!” Purple Sumrs tugged at Alexander’s sleeve, “That’s Mr. Ghost Hayes!”

The winding iron gate behind them closed shut and was locked.

Alexander let go, and Mr. Ghost Hayes’s body fell onto the bluestone pavent, his head knocking against it with a thud.

Alexander pulled the cloth from Mr. Ghost Hayes’s mouth and delivered two kicks.

“Run then, if you’re so capable, keep running! In the end, you still end up in my hands!” Alexander said with a look of grim resentnt.

He hated being played the most in his life, and Mr. Ghost Hayes had not only botched the job but also run off with the gold, committing a cardinal sin against Alexander.

Mr. Ghost Hayes, in pain, grimaced with his fleshy face trembling, “Ah, rcy! Please be lenient! I said from the start there was only a thirty percent chance of success! You knew as well, didn’t you?”

Alexander sneered, “Then why did you run? I think you knew it would fail and thus made early preparations to skulk away!”
