Chapter 911: Chapter 911 Sedative_1 Chapter 911: Chapter 911 Sedative_1 To say deception might be a bit of an exaggeration, but Henry Jason did indeed conceal sothing from Purple Sumrs last ti.

Now, both testimonial and physical evidence are highly unfavorable to Henry Jason, and Purple’s trust must be cautious.

She applied for bail and got Henry released from the police station. Mr. and Mrs. Jason were both there, and everyone’s face looked extrely grim.

Last ti, Henry only faced the danger of being falsely accused. This ti, he was taken away by the police in full view of the public! And the other suspect was his fiancée, a popular female star. They could almost predict what the news would write tomorrow.

“Talk about it, what exactly happened?” Purple broke the deathly silence, sweeping her gaze over the grim faces of everyone before it finally landed on Henry.

“Do we need to talk alone?” Purple asked him.

“No need,” Henry shook his head slightly, his gaunt face pale, with obvious redness in his eyes, “There’s nothing I can’t say. I did not commit murder! Hannah and I went to see Sean Patterson to discuss retiring, and Sean didn’t agree, leading to an argunt, and afterward, we left!”

Purple asked, “Where did you go after the argunt?”

Henry’s haggard face showed frustration: “I know I need an alibi… At that ti, I was too upset. I drove alone to the river for a drive, no one can vouch for !”

“What about Noelle Nichols? Weren’t you with her?” Purple continued to inquire.

“She was also in a bad mood and went ho to sleep,” Henry said.

“Do you think it’s possible that she went back to the villa and poisoned Sean Patterson?”

“Impossible!” Henry’s eyes widened, “Sean was not only Hannah’s manager but also the talent scout who discovered her. They have known each other for ten years! With a decade of friendship, Hannah couldn’t possibly kill him!”

“What about you?” Purple asked, “Sean Patterson opposed Noelle’s retirent and your marriage. Did you ever think of killing him?”

“I did not!” Henry stood up abruptly, his complexion turning from pale to ashen, “I really resented his excessive control over Hannah, but I never thought about killing him!”

Mrs. Jason couldn’t help but interject: “Purple, Henry could never commit murder!”

Purple smiled faintly and reassured, “Auntie, it’s just routine questioning. I need to know everything if I’m to defend him in court.”

Mr. Jason gently patted Mrs. Jason’s back and looked at Purple: “We understand, Purple. Continue your questioning.”

After so thought, Purple asked Henry again, “After you and Noelle left that villa, why did you separate? She is a woman and a star, and you let her leave alone at night. Weren’t you worried?”

Henry frowned deeply, sat back down, and his expression beca despondent.

His family mbers, all of them, watched him intently.

“We had so disagreents.” After a long pause, Henry finally spoke, “Sean strongly opposed our marriage, got very angry, and Hannah, considering Sean’s feelings, suggested, could we postpone the wedding… What a joke, we were supposed to get married tomorrow. How could I explain a postponent to my family at this point?!

I disagreed, and she got angry and said she wanted to go ho to sleep. I was annoyed at the ti and didn’t coax her; I just drove off. Her place is only a fifteen-minute walk away; I never thought there would be any danger.”

After listening, Purple pondered carefully and did not speak for a while.

Mrs. Jason couldn’t help asking her, “Purple, do we stand a chance?”

The ring of the cell phone suddenly interrupted. Purple answered the call, and whatever the person on the other end said made a look of surprise flash in Purple’s eyes. After the conversation ended, she looked up at everyone again, her smile helpless.

“Things don’t look good. The forensic doctor found that Sean Patterson had taken a large amount of sleeping pills before he died,” Purple looked at Henry, “And those sleeping pills were bought by you for Noelle.”

It fit even more with the police’s theory of a conspiracy to commit murder.

Henry’s face grew deathly pale.

Purple sighed, “Prepare for the trial.”
