Purple Sumrs didn’t deny it, her gaze calm, “Yeah, I just had a late-night snack before coming over. I’ll go get the autopsy report after I’ve digested.”
“No worries, I’ll scan it and send it to Ms. Simonson in a bit!” Mr. Ross said enthusiastically.
Purple Sumrs smiled, “Thank you, Mr. Ross.”
After Austin Ross and Allen Rivera left, Aria Jackson asked Purple Sumrs, “Are you really not going to see the body?”
The concern about indigestion was just an excuse; in the past, they used to eat instant noodles while watching autopsies during late-night overti work.
“I want to see Henry Jason first,” Purple Sumrs glanced at Aria Jackson, a faint smile in her eyes, “That guy tricked last ti, and I don’t want to be fooled again. I have to get his testimony before he has ti to fabricate an excuse; that’s when it’s the most credible.”
