Chapter 880: Chapter 880: Losing Temper_1 Chapter 880: Chapter 880: Losing Temper_1 Those photographs were originally just for fun, taken by Alexander Sumrs as he dragged her along, yet he mistook them for reality.
Purple Sumrs felt even more heartbroken, unable to utter a single word, with tears uncontrollably rolling down her cheeks.
His mories represented the most cherished truths in his heart, his dreams.
Even if he forgot everything else, dreams would never be forgotten.
The tears of Purple Sumrs made Alexander realize sothing, his expression first one of astonishnt, then it turned grave, gloomy and heavy. His fingers slowly clenched as he murmured softly, “Am I ntally ill…”
“You just rembered it wrong!” Purple Sumrs held him tightly, “You will rember!”
She took a deep breath and emphasized again in a low voice, “You will rember.”
The room lost its forr warmth as Alexander lay listlessly on the bed, staring at the ceiling in silence.
Purple Sumrs nestled in his arms, feeling a sharp pain in her heart.
She felt an intense heartache.
She comforted herself: It was already a great fortune that he ca back safely.
Compared to losing his life, mory confusion was nothing; with the advancent of dicine today, there must be a way to solve it.
As she reassured herself with these thoughts, Alexander suddenly asked her, “How did we end up together?”
Purple Sumrs was montarily stunned.
That question…had a long story behind it.
“Anyhow…it was a forceful conquest,” Purple Sumrs, who was originally crying, couldn’t help but laugh a bit, “You were not a good person, nearly drove mad several tis.”
Hearing this, Alexander also smiled, “If I were not a good person, would you still have the leisure to chat in bed?”
“You’re being indecent again,” Purple Sumrs pinched him.
Alexander smiled and leaned in to kiss her.
After kissing for a while, Purple Sumrs tentatively asked, “Shall we go see a doctor tomorrow, okay?”
Upon hearing this, Alexander’s brows slightly furrowed, his silence returning.
Purple Sumrs, afraid he was unwilling, quickly held his face and kissed it, coaxing him, “We won’t go to psychiatry, let’s just consult with a psychiatrist first, all right?”
Alexander looked at her, “What’s in it for ?”
Purple Sumrs thought for a mont, her eyes lighting up, and she smiled, “I’ll peel a pogranate for you!”
Was that supposed to be a benefit?
Alexander found it amusing, yet seeing Purple Sumrs with hopeful, anxious eyes, filled with concealed worry, his heart lted into a ss.
“Okay,” he touched his lips to her forehead, “We’ll go with the pogranate then.”
…
The next day, Purple Sumrs took Alexander to see a well-known psychiatrist.
The psychiatrist explained that this was a result of the subconscious mind’s self-defense chanism. When Alexander regained consciousness and realized that he had lost his mory, and he felt the urge to recover quickly, it created imnse psychological pressure. This pressure drove his brain to fill the gaps in his mory in a short ti, forcing the creation of false mories.
When Purple Sumrs had a mont alone with the psychiatrist, she asked, “Does this…count as a ntal illness?”
“ntal illness and psychological disorders sotis have just a thin line between them,” the psychiatrist replied and then, after a pause, continued, “But if it continues to deteriorate, with more and more false mories affecting real life, it could lead to ntal disorders.”
Purple Sumrs turned pale.
“Let’s continue treatnt for so ti and see how it goes,” the psychiatrist suggested, “The most important thing is not to add any more pressure on him.”
“Thank you,” Purple Sumrs took a deep breath.
After leaving the psychiatrist’s office, Purple Sumrs held back her emotions again and again, but finally couldn’t resist calling Zack Wallace.
“How exactly were you taking care of him?” Purple Sumrs was filled with anger, “Why didn’t you notify when he was injured? Why didn’t you tell when he lost his mory? Who gave you the right to make decisions on your own! If I hadn’t seen him, what were you planning to do with him next? Send him for psychiatric treatnt? Do you realize that doing so could add much more burden to his psyche?! This situation could have been avoided!”
