Purple Sumrs went to see Jade Carlson.
After just a few days, Jade Carlson already looked haggard beyond recognition.
Her complexion was pale, with deep dark circles under her eyes, and her gaze carried an air of frantic desperation.
Purple Sumrs even suspected that if she were to demand Jade Carlson to kneel and kowtow now, Jade would do so without hesitation.

Jade Carlson continued to plead desperately, “I was blinded by selfish interests, Purple Sumrs, you are magnanimous, please don’t hold this against anymore!”
“I am not magnanimous,” said Purple Sumrs.
Jade choked for a mont, then continued, “I really had no malicious intent, I knew that your snake wouldn’t bite, that’s why I ca up with that plan, Purple Sumrs, you have to know that it was because of you that I left the Prosecutor’s Office! I had to resort to sches for the sake of my future, but I truly bore no ill will! Look, Mrs. Farrell’s baby didn’t suffer at all, right?!”
Purple Sumrs shook her head, “Your departure from the Prosecutor’s Office was your own doing, it has nothing to do with .”
A bout of bitter bile rose in Jade’s throat, nearly spewing out! With each word, Purple Sumrs was tearing at her scars, and Jade wished she could pounce on the girl before her and tear her to pieces!

Seeing Purple Sumrs’s expression, she knew that Purple wouldn’t reveal anything.
Jade dangled the bait: “Purple Sumrs, as long as you help , I can tell you everything I know! Don’t you want to know about your own past? Aren’t you the least bit curious about why you were adopted by the Sumrs Family?”

Purple Sumrs watched her steadily, her eyes calm and clear, revealing no disturbance.

Jade Carlson said in panic, “I can help you investigate further once I’m out! I will look into it! Your mother’s na, why she separated from your father, I will find out everything for you!”
