Gene’s hair color is deeper than those two brothers, he has a short, neat beard and wears glasses, which makes him appear less arrogant and less perverted.
As for age, Cherry always found the age of foreign n mysterious, he looks like he could be in his thirties, or in his twenties, and saying he’s forty... doesn’t seem impossible either.
The man’s face was pale, his lips tightly pressed, sitting on the sofa opposite, speaking through a translator—
"This morning, we found Stan Edward dead in his own bed, murdered in his bedroom just like his younger brother, a fatal stab wound to the chest, but no one was seen entering or leaving the room last night. On this ship, to be able to kill two people successively without a trace, it seems only an evil god could do it."
Cherry imdiately laughed, crossing her legs, "If I wanted to commit murder, would I need a knife? Hey, do you all have no brains?"
Gene, sitting on the sofa, was furious and roared at Cherry!
Cherry, angered, pointed at him and asked Gavin Graves next to her, "Is he cursing at ?!!"
Gavin Graves stared at the man across from him, retorting bluntly with a few words.
Cherry paused, then asked, "Are you helping swear at him?"
"It’s nothing." Gavin Graves gently patted her hand, soothing her emotions, "I was just reminding him, instead of suspecting you, he should think about who the Stan brothers had grudges with."
Gene watched the two with cold eyes, having the translator convey his words, "As per the agreent, the evil god should fulfill one request for , now please tell , who is the murderer!"
"I am an evil god, not a detective!" Cherry’s attitude was even worse than his, "As per the agreent, if you make a request that the evil god cannot accomplish, it will be considered a forfeit! Good, now you have forfeited, please leave here!"
The other party was enraged, got up, and shouted, "You are the accomplice!"
Cherry also stood up sharply, and in an instant, the room’s temperature plumted! Black fog gathered, one by one forming into human shapes, without faces, without voices, ghostly figures silently occupied the entire room.
Cherry’s pupils were like a brewing storm, her voice extrely cold and stern, "I’ve said it before, when I kill, I don’t need a knife, if you’re not clear enough, open your eyes wide, and watch closely!"
Without any visible movent, those ghostly figures seized several bodyguards.
So had their throats choked, tongues stretched out, growing longer and longer; others had their eyes gouged out, eyeballs bulging, with blood flowing endlessly. They were all in agony, veins bulging on their foreheads, bodies trembling violently, yet unable to utter any cries, as if they were mute.
Gene saw this scene, his face turned ghastly pale, and he fled the room in a panic, almost stumbling in his haste!
Cherry sneered, withdrew her hand, and the ghostly apparitions in the room dispersed like mist, the bodyguards Gene brought also fled completely.
"I don’t see him living long either." Cherry snorted coldly.
Gavin Graves looked toward the door, thinking for a mont, and said to Cherry, "This incident is indeed bizarre, when the event occurred last night, not only were Stan’s people watching, but Alexander Sumrs’ people were also watching. No one ca out of that room; the killer couldn’t have just vanished into thin air. Cherry, do you have any way to track down clues?"
Cherry furrowed her brows, looking troubled, "I do know sothing, but I can’t say it out loud."
Gavin Graves was slightly stunned, "Why can’t you say it?"
"I can’t say it, I must have my reasons." Cherry replied, "Trust , I won’t hurt you, once that Gene is dead, things will end."
Gavin Graves looked at her in surprise.
From her tone, it seed she was quite certain Gene would et the sa untily fate as the Stan brothers.
Gavin Graves believed Cherry didn’t commit the murder, she had no motive for killing, but why was she protecting the murderer?
He often had to deal with various figures, reading people was part of the basic job, but to read Cherry?
He was genuinely perplexed.
Cherry, seeing he was silent, pouted, "Hmph! Do you not believe again?"
Gavin Graves, with a complex feeling, held her in his embrace, "I believe."
I am just perplexed, that’s all.
