Chapter 1463: Chapter 1463: Purple Sumrs’ Married Life

Gavin paused slightly at the words, a faint smile appearing on his face: “Getting curious again, huh? If you want to sue, there are lawyers at the firm. Purple Sumrs is in Pearlpoint City; she might not be able to co here.”

Cherry was playful and insisted on the lawsuit not for justice.

Gavin figured she probably hadn’t been to court before, which sparked her interest in filing a lawsuit.

“Make him go to jail first, and fix him again after he gets out; it’s the best of both worlds!” Cherry said. “Call Purple Sumrs and ask, maybe she’ll be willing.”

Gavin was helpless, “Cherry, there are countless people who want to hire Purple Sumrs for a lawsuit. Most are turned away by her assistant. Only exceptionally major cases are filtered through and submitted to her. Even so, she only takes one case at a ti, and the others are returned by the assistant who then recomnds a lawyer specializing in that type of case to the party involved.”

Cherry pursed her lips, “Why is she so lazy…”

Gavin chuckled, “Cherry, she has three kids to take care of.”

Talking about kids, a slight lancholy rose in Gavin’s heart, at his age, he should be thinking about having children…

“But I only want Purple Sumrs for the lawsuit…” Cherry said, disappointed. “If she cos to Clearwater, Alexander Sumrs won’t see his wife. I heard lawsuits take a long ti.”

Gavin reflected briefly. Indeed, what Alexander cares about most is his wife. That guy was so arrogant last ti in front of him; to see him squirm would be truly delightful.

“Well, Cherry, that’s a great idea.” Gavin took out his phone, found Purple Sumrs’ number in his contacts, “Let’s call Purple Sumrs and give it a shot.”

Cherry’s eyes lit up; she forgot about her sore backside, and joyfully asked, “Can I talk to her directly?”

anwhile, Purple Sumrs’ phone rang.

She was with her daughter and the phone was a bit far. The nanny handed it to her; the caller ID showed it was Gavin.

“Alexander Sumrs, help watch the kids, I’m going to take a call.” She turned her head and called out toward the door.

Alexander’s lazy voice responded: “I’m watching.”

His idea of watching was usually the two sons sitting on the living room floor playing with blocks while he watched TV, occasionally glancing at them from the corner of his eye.

Purple sighed, handed her daughter to the nanny, and walked out with the phone.

Through the staircase railing on the second floor, she saw Alexander lounging on the sofa, legs crossed comfortably, watching a ga.

“Alexander, don’t put your feet on the coffee table. I’ve told you many tis; there’s a footstool, isn’t there?”

Alexander reluctantly retracted his long legs, “Dear, why are you having more and more rules nowadays…”

“Co on, we have kids now, can’t you set a good example for them? Kids are great at mimicking; if they copy your leg-crossing every day, could you handle it?”

Purple urged him, “Stop watching and co up here quickly to keep April company. She’s not familiar with the new nanny yet; she might start crying.”

Alexander had no choice but to go upstairs, as there was a nanny and a servant in the living room, so he didn’t have to worry too much about the two sons.

Purple talked on the phone while heading to the study.

Raising children is a joyful yet painful process. Parents have a difficult ti finding balance; if too lenient, people say you’re pampering and spoiling. If too strict, people say you’re stifling the child’s nature.

Seeing parents spank their children, they criticize them as unfit to be parents. Seeing children steal or lie, they criticize for not having disciplined them harder back then. In short, bystanders have no pressure.

Alexander grew up in an extre environnt, with Atra Blanc’s unconditional love on one side and Janelle Roberts’ relentless oppression on the other. So his parenting skills were basically non-existent, knowing only to keep the kids fed and well-rested, knowing nothing else about caring for children.

He sat on the children’s mat, picked up his daughter’s assorted beaded toys, and fell into deep thought—

Are these silly toys really suitable for my precious daughter?
