Chapter 1435: Chapter 1435: Learning Unevenly

Gavin Graves silently got up holding his back and left the room without saying a word.

There was still a guest room at ho. Just have the servant tidy it up temporarily, and one could rest. Without soone crowding the bed, it was more comfortable, but…

The back hurt a lot.

He thought he might really be getting old. Even after just a fall, the pain lingered into the next day.

After arriving at the company, he asked the secretary to notify Dr. Kay to co over.

Dr. Kay placed two patches on his back, smilingly advised, “Mr. Graves, even though it’s your honeymoon, you should still exercise so restraint.”

Gavin: “…”

Really wanted to explain, but thinking about it… Being pushed off the bed by his wife didn’t seem like sothing to boast about either, so forget it.

At this mont, Lester Williams walked in from outside.

Dr. Kay knew they had so discussions to attend to and, after tidying up the dical box, respectfully took his leave of the office.

Lester Williams lightly placed a docunt folder on the desk.

The folder was quite hefty, containing Zenaida Richards’s information: which schools she’d attended, who her friends were, what talents she’d learned—all available information was there.

Gavin briefly browsed through, realizing what he was looking for wasn’t among these.

He placed the information back and said to Lester Williams, “Go find out about soone else, nad Cherry. She’s a girl with not much formal education… Her family might be involved in exorcism rituals and the like.”

“Is there a last na?”

“Not sure.”

Lester asked again, “How old is she?”

Gavin frowned, sowhat hesitant. Privately… he really didn’t want to admit he’d married a little girl.

“Between… six to twenty years old,” Gavin said.

Lester: “…”

Gavin saw Lester not responding and frowned at him, “What are you standing there for?”

Lester hesitated, “Sir, this age range is quite large…”

Gavin pressed his forehead, sighed, and said: “Just try to look into it first.”

After Cherry entered study mode, Gavin experienced a period of peace.

When she was studying, she ignored everyone else, spending her days either eating, sleeping, or diligently engrossed with her tablet.

However, she no longer bothered to treat him, it seed.

Gavin suspected it might be because they were sleeping in separate rooms, not seeing each other much from morning till night, so she forgot about it.

Sotis, out of curiosity, he would glance at her tablet and discovered so new apps, including Physics Master, Potato Biology, Virtual Chemistry Laboratory, and so on.

Has she advanced to high school already?

Since then, Gavin kept an eye on it, checking Cherry’s tablet every few days, and after a while, he found she was extrely biased in her studies.

Her performance in language, geography, and history was dismal, but she made astonishing progress in math, physics, and chemistry, especially physics. Gavin found her viewing record from an online quantum chanics course! Isn’t this supposed to be a college-level physics course?!

Could it really be that she accidentally clicked the wrong thing?

But she had paid for the course, using Gerald Graves’s account for automatic paynt.

Gerald, overly shocked, called him asking, “Bro! What’s up with sis-in-law?! She asked if the quantum chanics wave function really exists or is just a tool for scientists to calculate, and what photon double-slit diffraction is?!”

At the ti, Gavin was dining with his wife; he glanced at Cherry sitting across from him and silently hung up the phone.

Cherry was listless today and had little appetite.

Gavin lightly coughed and asked, “Did you call Gerald?”

Cherry lazily responded, “Mmm,” saying, “He always looks at with a silly expression, so I just spooked him a bit.”

Gavin: “…”

After a mont of silence, he glanced at Cherry’s plate; the food was barely touched.

“Is it not to your taste? The steak seems a bit tough,” he asked.

Cherry sighed, looking dejected, “Even though I know a lot of words now, there are still so many I can’t read on tombstones, sigh, I just don’t get it…”

Gavin elegantly cut the steak with his knife and fork, smiled hearing her complaint, and said, “Could it be because they’re in cursive?”

“Cursive?” Cherry froze, looking at him with wide eyes, “Are there different types of script?”
