Chapter 1429: Chapter 1429 Endure
Mrs. Graves nearly fainted, trembling with anger, “What did you say? How dare you curse my son? You vile woman, how could you be so malicious?! Get out! The Graves Family doesn’t have a daughter-in-law like you!”
Cherry shouted, “Aren’t you malicious?! You saw who tripped that woman with your own eyes, but you didn’t stop it or call an ambulance, and in the end, the fetus was lost. When the old man asked you, you pretended not to know, just trying to protect yourself!”
Mrs. Graves stared in shock, wide-eyed, “How do you know about the big wife’s incident?”
She turned her head to look at Gerald beside her and suddenly slapped him hard!
“Did you tell her?! Only you and I were there at the ti, Gerald! Why are you siding with outsiders?!”
A mother’s strength isn’t great, but Gerald was completely unprepared and saw stars from the hit!
“Damn! What does it have to do with ?!” Gerald anxiously covered his face.
Cherry pointed at Gerald and said, “You’re disgusting too! You play with n in the car, and after you’re done, you give them a car! Disgusting!”
Gerald stared at Cherry, “How do you know?!”
Instinctively, he looked at Gavin, questioning incredulously, “Bro, that’s too much! You had followed and then told my wife about this!”
Mrs. Graves was already pale with rage, and she slapped Gerald again with a loud smack!
“You do wrong and then bla your brother! Do you have no sha?! I’ve been wondering why I haven’t seen you driving that Maserati; turns out you gave it away! Playing with n! Are you ntally deranged? Are you ntally deranged!!!—”
“Mom! Can you not keep saying deranged every ti you open your mouth!” Gerald shouted angrily, “What’s wrong with playing with n? I’m happy! I’m open-hearted! Can you at least respect my lifestyle?!”
Mrs. Graves wailed, “You shaless thing! I don’t have a son like you!”
“You never really saw as your son! Only big brother is your son!”
The house was in complete chaos, and Gavin, unable to bear it any longer, coldly shouted, “Shut up, all of you!”
Mrs. Graves: “…”
Gerald: “…”
Gavin pointed at the sofa and said to Cherry, “You too, go back and sit down properly.”
Cherry looked left and right, then climbed back on her own, sitting cross-legged and grabbing a peach from the coffee table, munching as she observed them.
Gavin felt she wasn’t being obedient; she wanted to watch the show.
The living room returned to silence, with only the soft sobbing of Mrs. Graves.
Gavin slightly cald his emotions and asked, “Mom, why did you co over today?”
This villa was the new house Gavin prepared for his marriage. He didn’t want anyone to discover what was on his arm, so he didn’t plan to live with his mom and brother. He also specially selected servants who were tight-lipped.
Mrs. Graves wiped her tears and replied softly, “I was just worried, so I asked Gerald to co with to take a look.”
“Have you seen enough now?” Gavin asked.
“Ah… ah?” Mrs. Graves was stunned and then glanced at Cherry.
“If you’ve seen enough, go back and rest,” Gavin continued, “I’ll talk to Zenaida about today’s events. You’re getting older, running back and forth is tiring, so don’t co again. If there’s anything, just let know, and Zenaida and I will co to see you.”
He spoke calmly, without a hint of anger, courteous, yet leaving no room for negotiation.
Mrs. Graves lowered her head awkwardly.
Gavin looked at his brother, “Gerald, send Mom back.”
“Oh…” Gerald stood up dejectedly.
After the two left, Gavin looked at Cherry, who was munching on the peach, feeling a little bit of a headache.
“You’ve married into the Graves, so my mom is your mother-in-law. As a daughter-in-law, do you think it’s appropriate to call your mother-in-law an old hag?”
Cherry rolled her eyes and said disdainfully, “She called a little tramp first! She’s really old, and I’m not a tramp; all things considered, I feel like I didn’t insult her enough!”
Gavin: “…”
Tolerate it…
