Jane McCain froze on the spot, the warmth in her heart dissipating, as if soone had poured a bucket of cold water over her, chilling her to the core.

The smile had vanished from her face, and she stared blankly at Lucas Tucker before her.

It was obvious without much thought that Allen Rivera had sent Lucas Tucker over, just like he sent Fiona Lake to apologize to her, as long as he got her forgiveness, everything would be resolved and done.

At that mont, Allen Rivera erged from the other side of the car.

Jane gave Allen a glance, her eyes glistening with unshed tears, pursed her lips, and turned to leave.

"Janie?" Allen exclaid in surprise, hurriedly quickened his pace to catch up, reaching out to hold onto her.

Jane indignantly shook off his hand, only to be encircled tightly by his arms, holding her firmly in his embrace.

"What’s going on?" Allen furrowed his brows tightly, puzzled by her sudden change of attitude.

Jane struggled fiercely, unable to free her upper body, she then lifted her foot to kick him, "Let go of ! Let go!"

"Explain! What’s going on?!" Allen’s face darkened as well, not relaxing his grip one bit.

Without a clear explanation, how could he let her go? If he really let her stomp off in a huff, who knew how much work it would take to coax her back!

Lucas Tucker, watching the two from the side, remarked coolly to Allen, "Hey, I’ve already apologized, she didn’t accept it herself, it’s got nothing to do with ... I’m leaving."

Hearing Lucas Tucker’s lighthearted tone, Jane trembled with anger, not knowing where her strength ca from, she suddenly turned around and pushed Allen away with force!

"Janie!" Allen called her na in a deep voice, "What’s wrong with you?!"

"I’m just angry!" Jane cried out, furiously pointing at Lucas Tucker, "When he was cutting the card, he even touched my butt! Why have you been protecting him all along?!"

Allen and Lucas Tucker’s expressions changed almost simultaneously!

Lucas Tucker ca over with a dark face, fuming with anger: "Who the hell touched your butt?! I just cut a few cards and left, okay!"

His reaction seed genuine, leaving Jane stunned: "...If it wasn’t you, then who could it be?"

Allen, standing by, coughed softly, awkwardly turning his face to the side.

Jane: "..."

Could it be...

She widened her eyes in shock.

Lucas Tucker also saw Allen’s reaction and imdiately understood, furiously cursing, "Damn it! You two are both sick!"

He turned in anger and walked off.

Jane stared blankly at his departing figure, unable to wrap her head around the situation.

How could it be Allen? He’d never ntioned it before.

Yet, touching soone’s butt... didn’t seem necessary to specially inform her...

Allen sighed, walked over to hold her by the waist, a rare look of embarrassnt appeared on his face, "I didn’t know you were mad about this."

"You..." Jane was bewildered, "Why did you touch my butt?"

Allen explained, "I thought you were awake, weren’t you having a bit of a rash at that ti? I went out to buy so dicine and ca back to apply it for you. After applying it on your legs, I asked you to turn over, and you did. So I applied it on your back afterward... and on your butt too."

Jane bit her lip, her face full of embarrassing awkwardness and exasperation.

But Allen laughed, wrapping his arm around her, asking, "Were you sleepily muddled?"

Jane bit her lip, remaining silent, hitting him a few tis in embarrassnt and anger!

Allen chuckled softly, pressing her against his chest, then couldn’t help but let out a low sigh, "Getting angry with over this... you really are..."

The final "you really are..." was said with a lingering tone, filled with aningful reflection.

"Stop it!"

Jane couldn’t stand the awkwardness anymore, she got mad, pretended to be fierce, grinding her teeth against his chest, "Don’t say anymore!"

Too embarrassing!

Ughhhh... So annoying!

Allen lowered his head to kiss her forehead, smilingly said, "Alright, I won’t say anymore, but I’m a bit sad, why didn’t you think it was ?"

Jane gloomily thought: Fooled by your false seriousness, I guess.
