Chapter 1190: Chapter 1190: Kill Them All_1

Even though everything had proceeded according to her plan, Purple Sumrs was still so nervous that her complexion turned pale.

A few days earlier, during her walk, she had specifically observed that this house’s dog was usually kept in the backyard and only stayed in the front yard at this particular ti. Moreover, the front yard gate was left open due to the frequent comings and goings of people!

Taking the opportunity when Cherry was frightened by the dog to escape was the only thod Purple Sumrs could think of so far.

Frankly speaking, she didn’t hold much hope; she just wanted to take a chance. Perhaps if Cherry beca scared, she wouldn’t have the ti to manipulate those ghostly shadows to trap her, right?

But what Purple Sumrs had never anticipated was that the ferocious Tibetan Mastiff, once it burst out, would suddenly go mad!

Upon seeing Cherry, the dog’s barks beca even more terrifying, frantic and intense!

Cherry trembled all over, screaming in fear; she had no ti to run before being overpowered by the massive beast!

The dog completely ignored Purple Sumrs, catching up and biting onto Cherry’s ankle, flinging her like a rag doll—

Cherry’s bright red cape was torn apart in an instant!

Imdiately following that, the Tibetan Mastiff opened its gaping maw once more, viciously biting into her head and face!

An animal’s primal instincts target the head and neck during an attack. In a matter of seconds, Cherry was covered in blood, crying and screaming under the sharp teeth of the ferocious dog, heart-wrenching!

Purple Sumrs stared blankly at the scene unfolding before her, so shocked that she had already forgotten to escape.

She never would have thought…

She really never would have thought!

She only knew that Cherry was afraid of dogs, but she didn’t know the dog would attack Cherry! Everything happened too quickly, from the dog’s charge to its knocking down and attacking Cherry—this series of reactions caught Purple Sumrs unprepared!

She felt she should step forward to help, or ask others for assistance, but as this thought barely surfaced in her mind, she hesitated.

She couldn’t help but hesitate.

This was her only chance, perhaps her last chance. If she didn’t escape now, she truly wouldn’t be able to get away!

Nathaniel Sumrs was bent on revenge, showing no rcy, and Cherry was a malevolent spirit, even less likely to show rcy!

She had to go!

She must go!

Purple Sumrs bit her lip, taking steps backward. Already in a dire situation, why should she bother with righteousness or conscience?

Perhaps only a few seconds had passed, or maybe a minute? Purple Sumrs didn’t know.

She turned to run, and from behind her, Cherry cried out, “Mommy!—”

The voice was extrely mournful!

It carried begging!

It carried resentnt!

Purple Sumrs didn’t dare to listen; tears in her eyes, she ran heedlessly, stumbling and bumping along without watching the path ahead.

Soone grabbed her, asking, “Goodness, what kind of a mother are you, running away? Your child is almost getting killed by a dog!”

Purple Sumrs said hurriedly, “No, that’s not it, I’m not…”

Nobody listened to her speaking, and another person shouted, “Old Hu’s family! Your dog is biting soone!”

The nearby people, drawn by the dog’s barking and the little girl’s crying, saw several brave n with shovels or wooden sticks driving the mad dog to the side. The dog was inexplicably furious, and even though several people were holding it back, it continuously roared and growled at Cherry, its eyes bloodshot, as if it would tear her to shreds—

Purple Sumrs looked at the spattered blood on the ground, the torn cape… her breathing grew erratic.

Dark shadows and layers of fog swirled before her eyes, and through the haze, she saw Cherry’s bloodied and indistinct face giving her a sinister smile.

Purple Sumrs suddenly lost consciousness.

When she awoke, opening her eyes to the familiar ceiling, Purple Sumrs knew that she had failed again.

She sat up, got out of bed, and found the shackles back on her feet.

Purple Sumrs was slightly dazed. She got out of bed, put on her shoes, and went to the living room.

Nathaniel was stitching up Cherry’s wounds, with a dical kit by his side containing disinfectant, gauze, tweezers, anesthetic, and other tools.

Cherry sat motionless. Seeing Purple Sumrs walk out, she moved her eyeballs, and said, “I’m going to kill them, that dog, and everyone in that family. I’m going to kill them all!”
