Chapter 1120: Chapter 1120: Easier Said Than Done_1

To be rid of future troubles once and for all, easier said than done?

Mr. Ghost Hayes was sullen for a mont, speechless.

The quietness of the scene made it sowhat awkward.

After so thought, Hunter Dalton spoke gently, “According to what Master Xander described, it’s clear the ghost has been trained. To get rid of it will probably not be easy…”

“What if we killed Nathaniel Sumrs?” Alexander Sumrs asked.

Hunter Dalton shook his head, “Once a ghost is trained to a certain extent, it no longer needs its master to feed it, becoming independent. So even if Nathaniel Sumrs is killed, his ghost cannot be controlled.”

“Nathaniel Sumrs definitely can’t control it anymore!” Mr. Ghost Hayes said with so schadenfreude, “Otherwise, he wouldn’t need to look for bodies for the ghost to possess. His only aim is to prevent himself from becoming the ghost’s target! It’s like an animal keeper trying to avoid becoming food for a beast by feeding it others first!”

Alexander Sumrs scoffed coldly, “According to what you are saying, does that an we can’t do anything and can only wait for Nathaniel Sumrs to be devoured by the ghost he raised? A backlash?”

Mr. Ghost Hayes felt uneasy, “Those who train ghosts often et untily deaths; it’s almost a certainty… Master Xander, please remain calm…”

Alexander Sumrs snorted coldly.

Off to the side, Hunter Dalton pondered and then slowly said, “Now it’s sumr, the corpse will start to emit a foul odor and gradually rot soon. Although it escaped, it can’t stay in that body for long and will likely seek a new one to possess in the next couple of days. After possession, it will slowly devour soone else’s living soul to obtain a fleshly body. All things considered, it shouldn’t cause any trouble for at least a month.”

“And what after a month?” Alexander Sumrs asked with a frown.

“Master Xander, a month is enough ti for us to make preparations,” Hunter Dalton assured him.

Upon hearing this, Mr. Ghost Hayes also nodded, “We can set up an array inside this villa to keep demons and evil spirits out. That’s what he’s best at!”

Alexander perford a deep contemplation, his gaze falling upon Zack Wallace, who hadn’t made a sound throughout.

Zack Wallace felt as if he were sitting on pins and needles under that gaze, and with a wry smile, he said, “Master, why are you looking at like that…?”

“You’ll stay and help Hunter Dalton with the arrangents,” Alexander Sumrs stated. “Tell others that the villa is undergoing renovation and cleaning, inside and out. We don’t want any unsavory rumors spreading.”

Zack Wallace really didn’t want to get involved in such matters, feeling an eerie sensation within him.

“I’m currently busy handling your campaign matters…” Zack Wallace attempted to decline.

However, Alexander Sumrs made a final decision, “You can’t help with the campaign. Stay in Kingsley until I return.”

Zack Wallace had no choice but to agree.

After giving his orders, Alexander Sumrs stood up and went outside to find Purple Sumrs.

Seeing Alexander leave, Mr. Ghost Hayes picked up his bowl and resud eating. Alas, his soup had cooled considerably. Shaking his head in dismay, he carried the bowl to the kitchen, looking for a servant to help him warm it up.

Feeling uneasy, Zack Wallace coughed and inched closer to Hunter Dalton.

“Um… Mr. Dalton,” Zack Wallace inquired, “have you got any… particularly good rchandise at your shop lately?”

Hunter Dalton smiled, “Mr. King, what an odd way to phrase it. In my opinion, everything in my store is good.”

Zack Wallace clenched his teeth and asked directly, “That kind of coin, do you have any more?”

Hunter Dalton seed surprised, “I gave you a whole string last ti, isn’t that enough?”

Zack Wallace’s expression darkened, “Are you doing business or not? I want to buy an amulet, an effective one, sothing that works like those coins from last ti, you understand?”

“I understand,” Hunter Dalton still smiling, “Amulets are often for psychological comfort. Mr. King, you really shouldn’t need to buy any more in the future.”

Zack Wallace frowned, thinking how he could be at ease without an amulet when he was about to deal with ghosts.

Monts later, he caught on and happily suggested, “Are you implying that from now on, I’ll be so lucky that I won’t need any protection from amulets?”

Hunter Dalton was montarily taken aback before he spoke earnestly, “Not exactly, sotis when misfortune is destined, no amulet can help.”

Zack Wallace: “…”
