Amalia walked up to Sehyun Wang.
Sehyun Wang had been excited at the prospect of getting closer to Kenny Lin, but when she saw him stopped by his companion, she was about to get upset.
However, the mont her eyes landed on the elegant and beautiful Amalia, she was once again stunned by her beauty.
Sehyun Wang felt as though she were soaking in a tub of happiness, her entire body wrapped in joy.
What luck did she have today?
To encounter not just one handso man but also a beautiful woman who made her knees weak!
The heavens were truly being kind to her.
"What are your nas, this beautiful lady? My na is Sehyun Wang. Although I don’t look like a fairy, I have a heart softer than a fairy’s. So, would either of you consider beco my partner?" She even winked at Amalia.
Amalia was montarily stunned.
Sehyun Wang’s response had caught her off guard.
She had expected so kind of forceful attempt to take them captive, but this woman was playing by a different set of rules.
"What did you just say?" Kenny Lin, enraged by Sehyun Wang’s words, stepped protectively in front of Amalia.
Sehyun Wang froze.
Seeing the furious expression on the handso man’s face made her lose so of her nerves.
She stamred, "I-I was just saying, would you consider marrying ?"
Surely, being proposed to by a stranger on the street wasn’t enough to warrant this level of anger, was it?
"You want us to marry you?" Kenny Lin narrowed his dangerous eyes, and a faint red light flickered in them.
The yellow-robed maid behind Sehyun Wang paled slightly and imdiately rushed to her side.
"Be careful, my lady. This man is dangerous."
Sehyun Wang already had goosebumps. "I know he’s dangerous!"
The yellow-robed maid sensed sothing was off.
Glancing sideways at her mistress, she noticed the barely suppressed excitent in Sehyun Wang’s eyes.
Clearly, they were not on the sa page.
"Even when he’s angry, he’s so handso! His voice just now gave goosebumps. Ahhh, how can there be such a handso man in the Mystic Void Continent? I... I really want him to marry !"
Sehyun Wang, on the verge of tears, secretly sent a voice transmission to her yellow-robed maid.
"Yuri, you have to help ! I’ve made up my mind—I’ll marry no one but him. When we get back, I’ll tell my father that he’s the one I’ve chosen."
Yuri, the yellow-robed maid, felt a headache coming on.
The man in white robes was indeed breathtakingly handso, and her lady’s reaction was predictable.
But the problem was, they didn’t even know anything about these two people.
Still, she knew her mistress all too well.
After a mont of exasperation, Yuri started thinking of solutions.
"My lady, this might be difficult. After all, we don’t know who they are or where they co from."
"Then figure it out! Just don’t let him leave. If he goes, how will I ever find him again?"
Sehyun Wang replied, refusing to back down.
The Mystic Void Continent was vast, and if she let him slip away today, she might never find him again—not even if she fell from the heavens and landed in the middle of nowhere.
"I don’t care! I want him, and if he leaves today, I’ll die!" Sehyun Wang began throwing a tantrum when Yuri stayed silent.
Yuri, her expression now calm again, sighed softly. "There is a way."
Sehyun Wang’s eyes lit up instantly. "What way? Tell now!"
"They just ca out of the Lake Heart Pavilion. If we find out what they were looking for, maybe we can co up with a way to keep them here a little longer."
"Oh, right! How did I not think of that? Hurry, let’s do it!" Sehyun Wang urged eagerly.
Yuri gave a subtle nod to another maid, Yaori.
Understanding imdiately, Yaori hurried quietly into the Lake Heart Pavilion.
They thought their movents were unnoticed, but Amalia had seen everything.
Watching one of the maids sneak into the Lake Heart Pavilion, she quickly guessed what they were up to.
"My dear, we need to leave Skyward City right away. If we stay another day, I’m going to lose my mind," Kenny Lin grumbled, his mind filled with frustration at the thought of anyone daring to covet his wife.
"My dear your head! She’s interested in you, not . If anyone should be losing their mind, it should be ," Amalia said, exasperated.
Kenny Lin’s eyes lit up. "So, are you losing your mind then?"
Amalia retorted, "Do I seem like soone who’s that irrational?"
Kenny Lin looked heartbroken. "You don’t love . That’s why you’re still rational."
Amalia couldn’t help but roll her eyes. "Stop twisting my words. I’m not falling for it."
Kenny Lin huffed, "Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to. You’re deliberately stalling for ti, aren’t you?"
Amalia glanced at him and, in a tone that suggested she had him figured out, said, "Shall we leave now, then?"
"Leave? Who said anything about leaving?" Kenny Lin suddenly reversed course, completely forgetting what he had just said.
This kind of situation, where he could get the best of both worlds, was not sothing he would pass up.
Although neither of them looked back at the ti, they were fully aware of Manager Quan’s unfriendly gaze.
It wasn’t until they stepped out of the Lake Heart Pavilion and saw Sehyun Wang that they realized Manager Quan’s true intentions.
But if the plan was for them to be humiliated, she wouldn’t get her chance.
Monts later, Sehyun Wang’s maid appeared, followed by Manager Quan, whose face was sour but carefully guarded.
Perhaps feeling their gaze, Manager Quan looked over, and upon realizing it was them, her expression turned even more grim.
Noticing her reaction, Amalia’s brow furrowed ever so slightly.
They didn’t actually have any serious grievances with her—it was simply a case of two unwilling parties, one unwilling to attack and the other unwilling to endure.
