"Where would a demonic beast like that go at this ti?" Amalia exchanged a glance with Kenny Lin.
Typically, after discovering a valuable treasure, a demonic beast would guard it closely until it was ready to be harvested or used and turning the surrounding area into its territory.
"Could we have guessed wrong?" Amalia asked doubtfully.
Kenny Lin looked toward the demonic beast’s cave, "When we ca up, there was so distance between us and the cliff where the Eight Stars Of Heavenly Jade Flower is located."
Amalia caught his aning, "The Eight Stars Of Heavenly Jade Flower is almost ripe—could this Nascent Soul stage demonic beast have gone to guard the cliff’s edge?"
"Should we go check it out to confirm?" Kenny Lin suggested.
Amalia’s gaze swept around the area near the demonic beast’s cave like a laser, "We don’t have much ti left. Let’s go into the cave and take a look. We might find sothing valuable."
Kenny Lin asked, "What did you discover this ti?"
Amalia replied, "It’s hard to say. I’m not sure yet—we’ll only know once we go inside."
The two of them ventured into the cave.
The demonic beast seed very confident in its territory, as there were no guards posted inside.
They advanced without encountering any obstacles.
Upon entering, they quickly realized that this was no ordinary cave.
The tunnel stretched several dozen ters in, filled with damp soil.
Other than footprints, there was nothing else left behind.
Would a demonic beast really dig such a deep cave just for a place to live?
The answer was obviously no.
They continued deeper, nearly a thousand ters until they finally reached the end.
It was a deep valley, so tall that its top was out of sight.
A single beam of sunlight stread straight down from above, illuminating a massive tree at the center of the valley.
At the sight of the tree, Amalia’s pupils involuntarily contracted, and she exclaid, "The Golden Solarian Tree!"
She imdiately moved closer, trying to confirm sothing, but Kenny Lin grabbed her just in ti.
"What are you doing? What if it’s dangerous?" Kenny Lin said sternly.
Amalia gradually cald down, "Do you even know what the Golden Solarian Tree is? Now I finally understand why the Nascent Soul stage demonic beast didn’t imdiately go after the Eight Stars Of Heavenly Jade Flower. The Golden Solarian Tree is indeed more important."
Kenny Lin remained expressionless, showing no reaction, "No matter how important it is, it’s not more important than your life."
Amalia sighed, "Are you trying to cover up your ignorance?"
Kenny Lin’s eyes flickered with a serious expression that clearly said, "I have no idea what you’re talking about."
Amalia reluctantly explained, "The Golden Solarian Tree is a treasure in itself. If there were a ranking of treasures on the Mystic Void Continent, I believe it would be in the top 100, maybe even the top 20, because its growth conditions are extrely unique. It only receives a single beam of sunlight at noon each day. Look at the terrain of this deep valley—it’s clear that only in the midday that sunlight can reach here. Even moonlight at night would have difficulty getting in. If the Golden Solarian Tree receives any other light, it will turn into an ordinary tree. The most direct evidence is the green fruit on this Golden Solarian Tree; only under these harsh conditions can it bear fruit."
Kenny Lin raised an eyebrow and said, "It’s obvious that the green fruit on this Golden Solarian Tree is still a long way from ripening."
"Exactly. It takes at least ten years for the green fruit of a Golden Solarian Tree to mature from the ti it first appears. I don’t know how long this fruit has been growing, but it should still have a while before it’s ripe. Until then, the green fruit has no effect."
"So that’s why the Nascent Soul stage demonic beast dares to leave the Golden Solarian Tree?"
"Yes, besides the fruit, which is particularly beneficial for cultivators with fire-type spiritual veins, the Golden Solarian Tree itself is also can be used as a material for artifact refining. However, humans rarely destroy an entire Golden Solarian Tree, unless they only get a part of its branches."
Amalia walked around the Golden Solarian Tree.
This one wasn’t particularly large, indicating it wasn’t very old.
Behind the Golden Solarian Tree, she discovered a pile of crystal-clear glass-like stones, among which lay a stone that looked like it was made of flas.
The stone quietly rested on the ground, with red roots from the Golden Solarian Tree erging from the earth like veins of blood, faintly pulsing beneath the surface.
Seeing this, she finally revealed a satisfied smile.
"What is this?" Kenny Lin once again showcased his ignorance to highlight Amalia’s perfection.
"The Dawn Stone. If the growth of the Golden Solarian Tree has a one in a million chance, then the appearance of the Dawn Stone is a one in a billion chance."
Amalia’s usually cold and frosty face was now full of smiles.
Kenny Lin stared at her face, giving only a fleeting glance at the Dawn Stone she ntioned.
"Weren’t you wanted to help find natural flas before? There’s a type of fla called Solarian Flas, and this fla can only be found within the Dawn Stone."
Amalia hadn’t expected that, by a stroke of luck, they would find a type of natural fla, and it was even one of the top-ranked natural flas.
"The Golden Solarian Tree absorbs the noon sunlight every day, storing this energy in its roots. If there happens to be glass-like stones nearby, over ti, the surface of these stones would turn red, and the Solarian Flas begin to form in the center, turning them into what we call Dawn Stones."
"What do you think the chances are that this was naturally ford?" Kenny Lin suddenly asked.
Amalia pondered for a mont, "Not high. There’s clearly no glass-like stone mine beneath this cave. The placent of these stones makes it seem like they were scattered here deliberately. Perhaps it was done by soone back before the devil battlefield existed before the Eastern Continent was forced to turn into an alternate space. When we entered, I observed the terrain around the cave. The other mountain ranges are naturally ford, but this one is different—the rock walls are softer, and there’s no water source nearby."
