A group of people imdiately displayed gossiping expressions.

Renshu Chang was exasperated yet amused, "If she were the disciple of Master Uncle, how could I dare to call her Junior Sister?"

"That makes sense," the junior brothers suddenly understood.

One junior sister, however, stubbornly said, "Even if he is, so what? He’s an outsider who suddenly outranks us. I heard the Sect Master even plans to give him the treatnt of an elder..."

"Enough!" Renshu Chang scolded, "Have you forgotten the seniority in the Green Lotus Sect after being here for so long?"

Feeling wronged for speaking up on Renshu Chang’s behalf and only receiving a scolding, the junior sister felt quite aggrieved.

"No matter who Junior Master Uncle was or where he ca from, since Master Uncle accepted him as a disciple, he is our senior by rank. How can you gossip about him behind his back? If your master heard this, you would be punished."

Renshu Chang feared she might spread negative rumors about Junior Master Uncle, so he used a stern tone.

"As for his treatnt, I don’t know where you heard that from, but starting now, do not discuss it privately. If you anger Master Uncle, even your master won’t be able to protect you."

ntioning Master Uncle reminded the junior sister of her imnse power.

She turned pale, realizing their conversation might have already been overheard.

Feeling pity, Renshu Chang softened, "Don’t worry. Master Uncle won’t waste ti listening to disciples’ conversations. Just take this as a lesson."

"Thank you, Senior Brother Chang," the junior sister said, sincerely grateful.

Renshu Chang waved it off, rubbed his temples, and walked away, feeling sowhat worried.

He had always been concerned that Junior Master Uncle might face exclusion due to his seniority.

Now it had actually happened.

He hoped this warning would help others be more mindful.

Unaware of the events at the main peak, Amalia didn’t return to the Upper Nine Peaks after descending the mountain.

Kenny Lin was likely still occupied, and returning would leave her with nothing to do but ditate.

After weighing her options, Amalia decided to visit the Green Lotus Sect’s trading area.

The trading area was located outside the Lower Nine Peaks, where the outer sect disciples trained and lived.

There was a Qi Refining Field there, where many outer sect disciples often ditated and cultivated.

Nearby the Qi Refining Field was a trading area ford spontaneously by the Green Lotus Sect’s disciples.

Many inner sect disciples ca here to find what they needed, as the prices were often more reasonable and sotis cheaper.

The Green Lotus Sect’s Treasure Pavilion had many rare treasures, but they were extrely expensive.

Amalia didn’t even need to look to know that she couldn’t afford those prices right now.

Before heading to the Devil Battlefield, she needed a suitable spiritual artifact.

Guided by a senior brother, Amalia found the trading area.

It was a large square bustling with activity.

"Would you like to buy pills or elixirs, Senior Sister? I have everything you need," called out a vendor, noticing Amalia’s curious and sowhat lost look.

He recognized a newcor when he saw one, and newcors were always an easy targets for him.

Amalia glanced at the items on his stall.

They were all pills and elixirs for the Qi Refining and Foundation Building stages.

Shaking her head, she said, "I’m not buying these," and walked away.

"Don’t go! Tell what you need, and I can find it for you," the vendor called after her.

Without turning back, Amalia rged into the crowd, leaving the vendor muttering, "What a pity, I though it was soone who is easy to cheat."

Monts later, another newcor appeared at the entrance, and the vendor’s eyes lit up as he repeated his sales pitch.

Amalia continued through the market, seeing many stalls selling pills and elixirs.

Items like regrowth pills, which were rare on Earth, were readily available here.

If these elixirs had been available back then, many soldiers who is injured while defending their country wouldn’t have had to retire with regrets.

In addition, there were nurous vendors selling artifacts and amulets.

It was deeper inside the market that she found vendors selling artifact refining materials.

Although it was not as popular as pills, elixirs, and amulets, the artifact refining materials still drew a significant crowd.

After circling the market and overhearing several price negotiations, Amalia got a good sense of the prices for spiritual artifact materials.

Ultimately, it all ca down to a lack of spirit stones.

The spirit stones she and Kenny Lin had obtained from the sect, combined with those from Tranquil Mist Town, totaled only twenty-one mid-grade spirit stones.

This amount was barely enough to buy a few primary materials for refining a spiritual artifact, and not even all the materials needed.

The variety of refining materials on the Mystic Void Continent was truly vast.

Previously, when Amalia refining items, she often had to find substitutes because of the scarcity of spiritual energy and refining materials during Earth’s late spiritual decline.

If not for the central disaster zone appearing and increasing Earth’s spiritual energy, along with producing nurous materials, Amalia would have struggled to gather the necessary components for refining a spiritual artifact.

For instance, the Gold Cloud Ore was nowhere to be found on Earth, but it was ubiquitous here, highlighting the disparity.

In the end, Amalia couldn’t resist and spent all the spirit stones she and Kenny Lin had, buying dozens of refining materials.

She managed to acquire all the secondary materials but lacked two primary ones.

Seeing so many materials that she couldn’t afford to buy made Amalia contemplate selling the pills the sect had given them to buy more materials.

However, considering that she and Kenny Lin might need those pills, she abandoned the idea.

"Senior Sister, I’ve noticed you’ve been circling around the refining materials stalls and looking disappointed. Do you lack of spirit stones?"

Just as Amalia was about to leave the trading area and return to the Upper Nine Peaks, a plump man suddenly jumped out and blocked her path out of nowhere.
