The other two teammates, who hadn’t spoken, also approached them with sinister smiles.
"Lucia, we don’t know when Amalia will be back. Can we handle these people?" Javier Hermandez asked nervously.
"I’m not sure either. Try to delay them as much as possible until Amalia returns." Lucia Lopes’s expression turned serious.
It was the first ti for Javier Hermandez to fighting against people from outside the school.
He held the weapon tightly, and his hands already soaked with sweat, "Then I’ll do my best."
Lucia Lopes’s long spear flickered, and creating a gust of wind as she took the initiative to attack before they did.
As the forr top student in the school, her reputation was well-earned.
From the decisive victory over Sebastian Caceres, it was obviou that she wouldn’t underestimate any opponent.
Every ti she made a move, she put forth her full strength.
Her target was the burly man standing at the forefront.
It was not a sneak attack, but her speed was remarkable.
The spearhead was co in front of him in an instant.
The burly man was caught off guard and hastily used his artifact to block Lucia Lopes’s attack.
Taking advantage of her montum, Lucia Lopes pursued the attack relentlessly.
Although the burly man’s movents were agile, he was clearly outmatched, and in a matter of seconds, several wounds appeared on his body.
"Quick, co and help !" The burly man quickly sought assistance from his companion.
With a click of the tongue, the companion casually went up to help.
Facing two opponents, Lucia Lopes felt the pressure suddenly increase.
Javier Hermandez was also entangled by another opponent.
His strength was not as great as Lucia Lopes’s, so he could only manage to deal with one person reluctantly.
Surprisingly, the man with glasses did not make a move.
Instead, he stood nearby, and ensuring there were no ambushes.
He then walked over towards the corpses of the Dark Armored Wolves on the ground.
When Javier Hermandez seeing this, he cursed his sneakiness but also hoped for Amalia to return quickly.
Perhaps hearing his thoughts, suddenly a rocket shot through the air and arrived in an instant.
The burly man had no ti to react, and the rocket pierced through his chest.
Lucia Lopes was montarily stunned, and realizing that Amalia had returned.
She imdiately increased her speed to deal with the other person.
"Oh no, let’s get out of here!" The man with glasses only realized when the burly man died that there might be an ambush.
His face changed drastically as he jumped up.
Upon hearing this, Javier Hermandez imdiately held onto the man with glasses’ companion tightly, and waiting for Amalia to arrive.
When Amalia co over, the two would joined forces to killed the opponent.
On the other side, Lucia Lopes didn’t kill her opponent but wounded him severely.
The man with glasses was far away at the ti and managed to escape.
"What’s going on?" Amalia didn’t expect sothing would happend just after she leaving for a while.
Javier Hermandez quickly explained the situation, "These rcenaries are too arrogant and lawless. In broad daylight, they dared to rob us of our prey!"
Amalia simply acknowledged with a response.
Javier Hermandez asked in surprise, "Amalia, aren’t you surprised?"
Amalia said, "It’s normal. This is the disaster zone, It’s not a society bound by laws."
Javier Hermandez felt ashad, and realizing that his awareness was not sufficient.
"Be more cautious from now on. The Monde Disaster Zone is not like the New Disaster Zone. There are many rcenaries and wild spirit cultivators here. We never know when we might encounter similar situations again," Amalia’s expression remained calm and composed.
"First, collect the corpses of the Dark Armored Wolves. We’ll leave this place imdiately. The sll of blood will attract other mutant creatures soon." Javier Hermandez agreed, he then looking at Lucia Lopes hesitanly, and then turned around to start gathering.
Amalia approached Lucia Lopes just in ti to hear the threat from the companion of the man with glasses.
"You better let go! My companions will be here soon, and by then, you’re dead. I’ll ask them to skin you alive, and making your life would be worse than death!"
"Why don’t yout kill him?" Amalia walked up to Lucia Lopes, her voice was cold and ruthless, hinting at the rciless and heartless nature of a killer.
The rcenary who was shouting and threatening Lucia Lopes just now suddenly fell silent, he staring at Amalia in fear.
Lucia Lopes hesitated, saying, "I have sothing I want to ask him."
Amalia imdiately understood, she then glanced at the rcenary whose face was red from suppressing his emotion, and said, "Hurry up."
Lucia Lopes nodded gratefully.
Amalia turned around to find Javier Hermandez and helped him clean up the aftermath.
Ten minutes later, Lucia Lopes had finished her inquiries.
As they finished cleaning up, Amalia walked over and swiftly dealt with the companion of the man with glasses.
Javier Hermandez and Lucia Lopes both had puzzled expressions.
Amalia turned her head to them, and asked: "What’s wrong? Don’t tell you were thinking of letting him go?"
Seeing their reactions, she raised an eyebrow.
Lucia Lopes shook her head; she understood the cruelty of the disaster zone.
It was Javier Hermandez’s first experience, and his face was sowhat pale, but he didn’t say anything.
"Well, let’s go," Amalia wiping the blood off his knife and turning away.
...
The man with glasses ran in a long distance before he was stopping.
The calm and composed expression on his face had disappeared long ago, and it was replaced by a cold sweat that was sliding down from his temples.
Before his companions returned, the man with glasses knew that his situation had beco dangereous, and his confident expression had turned pale.
They actually had capsized in the gutter
If they hadn’t seen that there is only two people in their team, they wouldn’t have attempted to snatch the prey from them.
