Of all the top cultivators in the Mystic Continent, Yeom Hwaun paid the closest attention.

His father had been alive back then and would often tell him tales of great cultivators, especially of one woman—Tian Wuya.

His father, being a blade cultivator himself, he always admired those who walked the path of the blade.

Tian Wuya was undoubtedly the pinnacle of that path.

Even when his father spoke of her, his eyes would shine with longing.

Kishi’s face suddenly changed.

He rembered now—two years ago, there had indeed been a massive battle on the Copperstone Region.

The two-year war had begun because of that very fight.

After that battle, the devils had lost two Emperor level devils in that battle.

The humans had only lost one Mahayana stage cultivator—and it was one of their own doing.

That battle was a setup by the devils, ant to kill Master Lian, the top cultivator of the Green Lotus Sect.

If Master Lian had died, the devils would’ve gained a decisive upper hand in the coming war.

But unexpectedly, a powerful cultivator had intervened midway—the legendary Tian Wuya who is famous thousand years ago.

With Tian Wuya’s appearance, their plans collapsed.

Their own people died, while Master Lian lived.

It’s a total loss.

"So it’s you!" Kishi’s face turned grim.

Everyone had thought Tian Wuya’s disciple was dead.

She fall into a spatial rift that even Tian Wuya couldn’t save her.

Death had seed certain.

But now, not only had she survived, her cultivation had grown stronger in just two years.

Amalia responded with a blade that was even more ruthless and overwhelming.

"Yes, it’s . Two years ago, your devils sches nearly killed Master Lian during the Heavenly Tribulation. Today, you’ll be the first one to pay for that debt."

"You want to kill ? I’m not that easy to deal with!" Kishi imdiately threw out an object.

It was his trident, suspended in midair, constantly emitting black mist.

From within the fog ca terrifying howls, and faintly visible within was an enormous skeletal face.

Amalia knew that without her full strength restored, it would be difficult to kill Kishi outright.

But she had already made up her mind—no matter what, she was going to take him down today.

A blast of white light clashed with the skull hidden in the black mist, generating a tornado that swept across several kiloters.

Even if the Water Vein Tribe won this battle, they would be completely destroyed.

Countless buildings crumbled into ash under the collision of their forces.

Under the bright daylight, Amalia’s figure flickered and disappeared.

When everyone realized what had happened, she had already rushed up to Kishi and engaged him in close combat.

In the blink of an eye, they had exchanged hundreds of blows.

Kishi was at a disadvantage—now down to one arm, and his powerful physique had been blasted apart repeatedly.

So spectators couldn’t see clearly and could only hear roars echoing from the black mist.

"Young Master!" The devils were panicking—the voice was unmistakably their young master’s.

Could it be that the young master was truly losing?

Kishi had never been so humiliated.

His body had been cultivated to extre resilience, but the opponent’s strength seed no less.

Her attacks caused his veins to rupture one after another—before long, he was drenched in blood, like a man made entirely of it.

"You forced !" Kishi roared, his voice filled with pure fury.

Amalia suddenly sensed danger.

Was he about to unleash an ultimate technique?

She wasn’t surprised—top-tier prodigies, even among humans, were often given powerful survival tools.

It wouldn’t be strange for Kishi to have a trump card.

He seed to take sothing out, preparing to crush it—but Amalia didn’t give him the chance.

Sothing round and flickering appeared in her palm.

In the blink of an eye, it materialized behind Kishi and smashed toward the back of his head.

Buzz!

Before Kishi even realized what was happening, it was too late—a hard object struck the back of his skull.

He thought it was just so ordinary magical artifact but he never expecting that it would be an entire world.

His soul was nearly knocked out of his body, and he froze in place.

In a battle between powerhouses, even a second of hesitation could be fatal.

This was the mont Amalia had been waiting for.

Her blade ca down like a falling mountain, splitting Kishi in two.

With only half a face left, Kishi let out a ferocious, guttural scream.

He didn’t die on the spot—his severed flesh began to rejoin, though the process was slow.

Amalia was slightly stunned but reacted with lightning speed.

With her great blade in hand, she chopped again.

This ti, Kishi’s body was once again split in half, and the flesh could no longer regenerate.

From the squirming ss of tissue, Amalia caught a faint glimr—sothing resembling a human primordial spirit was escaping his body and instantly turning into a ghostly silhouette in midair.

Kishi’s twisted face was full of hatred, his eyes locked on Amalia with poisonous intent. "Damn human!"

"So this is a devil’s primordial spirit?" Amalia muttered. "It’s slightly different from the human cultivator kind."

She had seen many devil spirits perish by her hand before, but none of them like this.

Kishi’s spirit seed barely weakened despite his body being destroyed.

It still retained at least half its original strength.

"Miss Amalia, be careful," Yeom Hwaryeon warned. "This one is a high-level devil that was likely has been baptized. He can be reborn infinitely."

"Baptized?" Amalia had never heard of such a thing—let alone infinite rebirth. "I don’t believe in that nonsense."

She rembered the Solaryx from the higher dinsional universe who also claid themself to be immortal, but didn’t she break that myth herself?

"That’s because this may not be his true body—just a clone," soone suggested.

"It’s only a clone?" Amalia was montarily surprised, but quickly understood.

No wonder this supposedly top-tier prodigy hadn’t been as powerful as expected.
