However, killing the Grand Elder of the Crimson Moon Dynasty would benefit them even more.

"Not necessarily. It’s just a matter of when we can discuss it," the Grand Elder said cryptically.

"This is the only thing you’ve said today that I agree with. When this battle is over, the Crimson Moon Dynasty might just have to sit down and negotiate with us," Xel’Markos replied, not fully grasping his aning.

The Grand Elder shook his head. "You two can co at together."

He didn’t need to say it.

Xel’Anzeth and Xel’Markos had already moved.

No one else dared to approach—not even the aliens.

They were retreating, knowing that when top-tier warriors clashed, the energy backlash alone could tear them apart in an instant.

Although they were attacking together, Xel’Anzeth and Xel’Markos weren’t fighting at full force right away.

Instead, they were deliberately maneuvering the Grand Elder toward the human side.

So guards who failed to escape in ti were caught in the crossfire of the three overwhelming energy waves, instantly shredded to pieces.

Truly, when deities battle, mortals suffer.

"Hurry! This is our chance—get out now!" Rafael urged Sharif and the others.

Sharif shook his head. "We can’t leave anymore. The exit is surrounded by aliens. Those two top-tier alien warriors won’t let us go. The mont we make a move, they’ll kill us instantly."

Rafael and Duan Yao’s faces darkened. "Then what? Are we just supposed to sit here and wait for death?"

"Not necessarily. As long as Ms. Amalia and Mr. Kenny get here in ti, everything will change in an instant," Shari said with unwavering conviction.

They all understood the logic, but when exactly would Ms. Amalia and Mr. Kenny arrive? No one knew.

If they took a few more hours to get here, it would be too late.

Seeing everyone’s speechless expressions, Shari made a rare joke. "We can’t predict uncontrollable events. All we can do now is hope that the Grand Elder of the Crimson Moon Dynasty can hold on."

Everyone anxiously turned their gaze toward the three battling figures.

It was clear to anyone watching that the Grand Elder was struggling against two opponents, barely managing to defend himself.

He was already coughing up blood repeatedly, looking more battered by the second.

The Crimson Snake Emperor and the other mbers of the Crimson Moon Dynasty were growing restless.

They understood the Grand Elder’s injuries better than anyone.

Even they had little confidence in him holding out, let alone anyone else.

"What are you waiting for? Are you expecting so other savior?"

Xel’Markos and Xel’Anzeth had both noticed that the Grand Elder seed to be stalling.

He barely attacked, focusing entirely on defense.

Before long, they realized that he was primarily protecting the humans of the Erythar Star System—keeping them safe was her priority, while the Crimson Snake Emperor and his people were secondary.

"Are you waiting for the two cultivators of the Erythar Star System to arrive?" The two quickly put the pieces together.

"And what if I am?" The Grand Elder grinned, his teeth stained with blood.

In that mont, the aloof and untouchable aura of a high-ranking figure faded, replaced by sothing more human—sothing closer to the struggles of ordinary life.

"The fact that the Erythar Star System managed to seize two fully intact cosmic battleship was unexpected," Xel’Markos said coldly. "But expecting their cultivators to rescue you is the biggest joke of all. The mighty Grand Elder of the Crimson Moon Dynasty, relying on outsiders? That alone proves your inevitable defeat."

Xel’Anzeth, however, was growing impatient. "Enough talk, Xel’Markos. You and I—let’s kill him now!"

This was a once-in-a-lifeti opportunity.

They couldn’t let it slip by.

Eliminating the Grand Elder of the Crimson Moon Dynasty would be the most decisive blow against the Crimson Moon Dynasty Star System.

At this mont, even the Erythar Star System was an afterthought—all that mattered was killing the Grand Elder here and now.

Xel’Anzeth and Xel’Markos ignored the humans of the Erythar Star System completely.

However, Valen was still fuming.

They were prioritizing the bigger picture, but he wasn’t about to let go of his personal humiliation.

These people had insulted him, and he would kill them himself.

They were already heavily injured—there was no way they could fight back.

"Cousin, I’m going to kill them," Valen said, intending to borrow a few n from Prince Ignis’Kai.

He couldn’t do it alone.

"Be careful," Prince Ignis’Kai warned, though he was equally furious at Rafael and Duan Yao.

He didn’t stop Valen and signaled to three of his guards to follow him.

"Watch out—Valen is coming!"

Mateo was the only one still uninjured and strong enough to fight.

He noticed Valen and his n approaching right away.

"You take Minister Sharif and General Rafiq to a safer location—we’ll hold them off!" Rafael stood up again without hesitation.

"You’re more seriously injured than I am! Most of my wounds are just on the surface. You should retreat with them—I’ll fight alongside Mateo." Duan Yao pushed him back.

Rafael gave him a flat look. "Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to. You’re trying to ditch to earn yourself so favor points in from the two immortas, right?"

Duan Yao was speechless.

Was this guy seriously thinking about sothing like that in a situation like this?

He really hadn’t considered it that way at first—but now that Rafael had pointed it out, it actually seed like a decent idea.

Worth a try.

"Fine, suit yourself. How about this—Mateo, take Minister Sharif and the others to safety first."

The two of them casually made the decision for Mateo, leaving him at a loss for words.

Was this really necessary?

If they could hear his thoughts, they would answer him without hesitation—yes, absolutely!

Seeing how firm they were in their stance, Mateo had no choice but to go along with it.

He couldn’t let anything happen to Minister Sharif or General Rafiq.

His presence would at least provide so protection from the energy shockwaves—without him, they might be obliterated in an instant.
