"Are they really that powerful?" So of the envoys were growing uneasy.
If the Holy Gate of the Heaven and the Earth was truly that formidable, could Amalia and Kenny Lin still hold their ground?
Initially, they had felt reassured with two immortal cultivators among them, convinced that no trouble could shake them.
Now, doubt crept into their hearts.
"No matter how strong the Holy Gate of the Heaven and the Earth is, they are no match for Ms. Amalia and Mr. Kenny."
The sudden voice belonged to Duan Yao, who had remained silent in the front seat.
Everyone instinctively turned to look at him.
"That’s right," Rafael added with certainty. "The Holy Gate of the Heaven and the Earth is absolutely no match for them."
"Why are you so sure?" Khalil voiced the question on everyone’s mind.
"I don’t know how powerful the Holy Gate of the Heaven and the Earth is," Duan Yao admitted. "But the feeling I get from Ms. Amalia and Mr. Kenny... is an overwhelming, insurmountable force. If they were our enemies, they would be like black holes—inescapable and all-consuming."
His tone was calm, but only he knew the depth of his own awe.
"In their presence, I cannot even summon the will to resist. Because I know... they need only a single thought to kill us. That’s sothing a re Golden Core cultivator could never achieve."
After Rafael finished speaking, he paused for a mont and added, "Even soone who has just broken through to the peak of the Golden Core realm wouldn’t be able to do that."
Everyone here had only just stepped onto the path of cultivation.
Their understanding of cultivation was nowhere near as deep as Amalia and Kenny Lin’s.
They had no concept of how overwhelming the difference between realms could be.
But hearing such certainty about the two immortals’ strength reassured them considerably.
"Alright, enough of that. From now on, we all need to be extra cautious. The Holy Gate of the Heaven and the Earth will likely launch a second wave of attacks. Be on guard—none of us can be sure whether their people are lurking nearby."
Despite saying this, Sharif was already more than certain—there were definitely Holy Gate of the Heaven and the Earth operatives hidden inside the royal palace.
The cult had existed for so many years; if they didn’t have the ability to infiltrate the palace, they wouldn’t have survived this long.
The answer was obvious.
Right now, they weren’t just facing external threats but also the possibility of an ambush from within.
Unseen by them, the bloodshed had already begun.
Iron Howler Overlord never expected the first wave of attacks to break through Pleiadian Ascendancy’s defenses.
Ten minutes later, he issued the second command.
Two simple words: "Proceed."
The very next second, Amalia and Kenny Lin spotted the two cultists perched atop a high rooftop suddenly spring into action.
They leapt from the roof, gliding down the smooth walls like swallows in flight, exuding a murderous aura.
All the Holy Gate of the Heaven and the Earth operatives hidden in the shadows began moving as well, swiftly converging toward the convoy.
So of them were blindingly fast, covering hundreds of ters in re seconds.
But no matter how fast they were, they were not faster than Amalia and Kenny Lin.
Just as the cultists started their assault, the two of them vanished from their original positions.
One darted left.
The other, right.
As they moved, they passed by weaker cultists.
Without even attacking directly, they unleashed a re fraction of their aura—
And those cultists, overwheld by the pressure, lost their footing and plumted from the rooftops, their faces contorted with terror.
Their bodies slamd into the ground with bone-crushing force, forming craters upon impact.
They hadn’t even been physically struck, yet they were already critically injured.
The Pleiadian Ascendancy’s forces, who had been stationed nearby, imdiately sensed the disturbance and rushed over.
Upon arrival, they were stunned to find multiple cultists lying motionless in the pits, unable to get up.
After a brief mont of confusion, they quickly reacted—charging forward to capture the incapacitated enemies.
"Holy hell, did we just hit the jackpot? These guys are basically gift-wrapped for us!" one soldier exclaid in disbelief.
His companion, however, remained serious. "This is unusual. These two seem to have fallen from above, which ans they were up there to begin with. But if soone attacked them... how did they get taken down so quickly and silently?"
After all, a real fight would have caused so level of disturbance—there was no way there would be absolutely no sign of battle.
"Unless...?" the first soldier prompted, sensing his companion’s hesitation.
"Unless the person who injured them was overwhelmingly powerful. So powerful that these two never even had a chance to react before they were taken down."
"That’s impossible," the other soldier scoffed. "These guys are Earth-rank cultists—at the very least, that ans they’re in the Foundation Building stage. Only a cultivator beyond the Golden Core stage could have done this."
But cultivators beyond the Golden Core stage were the top elites of the Pleiades Star System.
"Honestly, I don’t think we need to overthink this. The enemy of our enemy is our friend, at least for now. These people clearly aren’t a threat to us at the mont. Let’s just haul them back—capturing two Earth-rank cultists is a huge achievent."
His companion thought about it and agreed. "Alright then, let’s move."
In a vast plaza, a flower bed stood at the center, filled with a dazzling array of colorful flowers.
The floral scent attracted countless butterflies, fluttering gracefully among the blossoms.
Suddenly, an overwhelming force swept through the area.
The flowers withered in an instant, and the thousand-strong swarm of butterflies lost consciousness, their lifeless bodies covering the flower bed.
On either side of the flower bed, three figures stood, their powerful auras clashing in the center.
The sheer force uprooted so of the flowers, grinding them into dust before sweeping them into the raging winds of battle.
