It was like a planet: if its inhabitants recklessly destroyed and exploited its resources, they would accelerate its downfall.

Earth was a pri example.

Without the spatial rifts and the resurgence of spiritual energy, Earth’s eventual fate—whether through invasion by oceanic creatures or depletion of resources—would have been extinction, leaving humans unable to survive.

"Even ten thousand people are a significant number. If things progress smoothly, the population might grow and thrive. Besides, this is just the beginning. I believe there’s still plenty of ti, and opportunities will arise," she concluded.

"Alright," Kenny Lin shrugged, conceding to her reasoning.

"But we can’t just sit back and do nothing. The aliens’ cha fleet will likely depart by tonight. Should we sabotage their Cosmorite chas or... ’alter’ their orders?" Amalia asked, her tone calm and composed.

Altering the aliens’ high-level orders wasn’t just an act of defiance—it was a considerable risk.

"Didn’t you ntion before that the alien leadership is divided? Changing their orders is risky, but targeting the Cosmorite chas might be safer," Kenny Lin suggested.

Amalia smiled at his response. "That’s pretty much what I was thinking. Let’s split up. If anything happens, we’ll contact each other via the terminal."

"Alright," Kenny Lin agreed without objection.

It wasn’t wise for the two of them to act together.

Their supposed allegiances were different, and if they appeared too friendly, it would arouse suspicion.

The two left the small room one after the other, splitting up to take different paths.

Since there wasn’t just one cha plaza, it was likely that Noryn’s Cosmorite cha was in one of these plazas.

On her way, Amalia encountered a low-ranking alien.

Using her status as an officer, she learned that the alien was a chanical technician and ordered him to take her to the cha plaza.

The alien didn’t question her authority.

After a brief mont of hesitation, he led her to the plaza.

They soon passed through an underground tunnel and entered the large cha plaza Kenny Lin had described.

Amalia noticed that at the far end of the plaza, there was an exit.

Bright light filtered through, and beyond the exit was the vast expanse of space.

She quickly realized that this was the passage through which the chas regularly entered and exited.

"Captain Noryn, do you have any other instructions?" the chanical technician asked.

"How’s my cha?" Amalia asked casually as she walked forward, feigning nonchalance.

Hearing this, the technician assud that this was the reason Captain Noryn had summoned him.

"The Emberion Core has been installed, and the damaged parts have been fully repaired. There are no major issues at the mont."

"I see. You may leave now," she said dismissively.

After sending the technician away, Amalia observed the other chanics working near the machines.

Each technician was focused on their task, ticulously inspecting the Cosmorite chas hanging from the equipnt.

By walking around the plaza, she quickly deduced the division of labor and the procedural steps involved in the maintenance.

She also gained a rough understanding of the manufacturing process for the Cosmorite chas.

A while later, she approached the cylindrical container Kenny Lin had ntioned earlier, which was filled with red crystals.

The technician had previously referred to "Emberion Core," so unless there was so other unexpected factor, these red crystals were likely what he had ant.

As she prepared to approach the container, an alien suddenly walked toward her.

"Captain Noryn, are you here to inspect your cha?" The alien had a humanoid appearance, not too different from a human.

This was the first humanoid alien Amalia had encountered on the battleship, aside from General Aelra and a few other high-ranking officers.

Amalia didn’t imdiately answer his question but instead glanced at the 30-ter-high cylindrical container. "Are these Emberion Core in good condition?"

"Captain Noryn, you must be joking. These Emberion Core have already been processed. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with them. Rest assured, the Cosmorite chas will function perfectly." The middle-aged technician replied with a polite smile.

"It’s better to be cautious. It’s not about being overly careful but avoiding the worst-case scenario."

"You’re absolutely right, Captain," the technician agreed.

"What’s the progress like? Can you make the deadline?" Amalia asked.

"Of course. Actually, we’re almost done. However, due to a near-leak incident that happened before, the general ordered us to conduct an additional round of inspections."

"Appreciate the hard work. You can carry on; I’ll take a look around on my own," Amalia said, dismissing him as she walked away.

The middle-aged technician didn’t find anything unusual about her behavior.

Amalia approached the cylindrical container.

Once she was closer, she used her divine senses to inspect it.

Kenny Lin had been right—there was a faint but nearly undetectable threat emanating from the Emberion Core.

Prolonged exposure seed to have so subtle effects on living organisms.

As for the exact nature of these effects, without conducting experints, she couldn’t say for certain.

After a mont of thought, Amalia decided to take a few dozen of the crystals.

With the sheer volu present, even if the aliens noticed sothing was missing, it was unlikely they would connect it to her right away.

The battleship also housed a Cosmorite cha production line in another section of the plaza, but it was located on the far side of the ship, requiring passage through the entire battleship.

Given the circumstances, they had chosen not to head in that direction.

Within a short ti, thousands of chanical technicians completed their inspections of tens of thousands of Cosmorite chas.

Since this was a re-inspection, the process moved relatively quickly.

None of them noticed that Amalia had not left the plaza.

Once the inspections were complete, the technicians departed, leaving only a few of them behind to finish so final tasks.

Amalia erged silently from the shadows, suppressing her presence as she moved toward the remaining aliens.

Before they could react, they permanently lost consciousness.

The massive cha plaza was now completely deserted, leaving Amalia as its sole occupant.
