She closing the door, and this ti Kenny Lin didn’t stop her. However, he didn’t leave either; instead, he settled into the room next to hers.

Today’s events had exceeded Amalia’s expectations. After showering, she walked to the balcony, and gazing at the destroyed community that was caused by the octopus monster.

Although it was late, the commotion had been so significant that it might have already circulated widely online.

"If I make up my mind, will you agree?" Kenny Lin’s persistent voice suddenly ca.

Amalia turned her head to see him standing on the adjacent balcony. There was no surprise in her heart, "Probably."

"That answer is bit cunning, but I’ll take it as a promise," After Kenny Lin said that he stopped the conversation.

He then sitting cross-legged and began to ditate.

Amalia remained noncommittal and then sat down to ditate beside him.

Three hours later, the sun slowly rose from the east.

While they were ditating, Yannis that was several dozen kiloters away, suddenly received the only good news he received after several days.

"You said you’ve found that woman wherebouts?"

Sandro nodded excitedly, "Reporting to Second Young Master, indeed, we’ve found her. She stayed in our hotel. Her real na seems to be Amalia Vanquez, and she check in in last night."

Since Amalia had lost her apartnt, Yannis speculated that she might have gone to a hotel. So, he instructed them a long ti ago, even sending them her photos.

However, there had been no news until today when that woman voluntarily showed up at their hotel.

Yannis felt the na sounded sowhat familiar, but he couldn’t recall where he had heard it before, so he didn’t dwell on it further.

"Logically, it shouldn’t be. Why would she wait until now to stay in the hotel?"

Sandro speculated, "Maybe it’s related to the octopus monster attack on the residential area she stayed in last night. Our hotel isn’t far away. This woman hadn’t left the area, and we were all deceived by her."

"Now that we know where she is, and she’s co to my territory to court her own death. This ti, I won’t make the sa mistakes as before," Amalia had embarrassed him in front of his father multiple tis.

Yannis couldn’t afford to overlook her actions this ti.

"Second Young Master, according to the information from the hotel, there’s another peraon with her. He was the one who killed the Incubus boy," Sandro’s eyes reddened.

He believed that Kenny Lin was the person who also killed his brother.

"Anyone who can kill the Incubus boy must have considerable strength. I know you want to avenge your brother. But, don’t worry, this person is right under our noses. We can outwit them; we don’t necessarily have to confront them head-on," Yannis assured.

"Second Young Master, how do we outwit them?"

Yannis smirked. "I have my ways."

...

Amalia and Kenny Lin both opened their eyes almost simultaneously at the sa ti; and the sun had fully erged.

After that Kenny Lin jumped in directly from the balcony.

Amalia observed the sunlight that was shininng upon him, as if he was stepping on the light it self and realizing she couldn’t expect that man to adhere to conventions.

Just then, there was a knock on her room door.

"Who’s there?" Amalia crossed the living room to inquire at the door.

"Good morning, ma’am. I’m here to bring you a breakfast," said the attendant outside.

"I haven’t ordered breakfast yet," Amalia frowned.

"Breakfast at our hotel is complintary."

Amalia opened the door, and scanning the items on the table, then gestured, "Co in."

The attendant wheeled the table inside.

"Bring my breakfast too, I’m in the next room," Kenny Lin that was lounged on the sofa, displaying a commanding air.

"Please wait a mont, sir," the attendant seed to recognize Kenny Lin, realizing it would be impossible not to, as his face was unforgettable for anyone who’d seen it.

After a while, the attendant returned with another cart, uncovered the dishes, and left, while saying, "Please enjoy your al."

"What kind of hotel is this? They even have flowers," Kenny Lin noticed a bouquet of roses under the table that was emitting a rich fragrance.

"After you finish, go back to your room," Amalia ordered without hesitation.

Kenny Lin lifted his breakfast, "Then I’ll eat slowly, and savoring every bite."

As he took a mouthful, his movents suddenly halted, and he looked at Amalia, who had already taken a few bites, his expression beco complicated.

Amalia, puzzled by his look, she then asked, "What’s wrong?"

"Didn’t you notice the breakfast tastes odd?" Kenny Lin’s lips curled up slowly, finding it quiet interesting that soone at a hotel would intentionally drug them.

Amalia’s face changed abruptly; she hadn’t detected anything, but Kenny Lin wouldn’t make baseless claims.

Sure enough, the next mont, her legs suddenly went weak, "What’s happening? Is the hotel drugged the breakfast?"

"Yes, and it’s not just ordinary drug. It’s a substance that was specifically targeting a spirit cultivators," Kenny Lin set down his breakfast, and clicking his tongue, "This person must hate us imnsely, to have access to drugs that are no longer available in the market."

"Why aren’t you get affected?" Amalia had already slumped on the floor, she supporting herself against the sofa to avoid collapsing completely.

"This kind of drug has two thods of activation: inhaling the flower scent and consuming the breakfast," Kenny Lin’s eyes glead coldly as he rose, and assisting Amalia to stand up on her feet.

Amalia felt her body weakened and she could only reliant on him for support.

When she found herself leaning against him, and catching a whiff of his scent—that was full with male hormones—she involuntarily closed her eyes.

"They’ll probably co in soon. Any ideas on who wants you dead?" Kenny Lin asked with a smile.

He seemingly enjoying it very much when he looked at Amalia who was currently leaned her body against him. He showing no intention of helping her sit down.

"Why don’t you say it’s was soone who co after you?" Amalia didn’t think Kenny Lin had fewer enemies than herself; he had only two enemies, either from the Yoder family or the Rodriguez family.
