"You’ve always wanted to see the Eighth Slash of the Eight Gods Blade, haven’t you? Fine! Let show you its true power!" Amalia bellowed, veins bulging beneath her skin as crimson streaks coursed across her body. The fractured space around her blade shimred with jagged threads of destruction as her strike shot forward, guided by the intricate threads of spatial rules.
Temujin Lei and Seonho Ming’s faces twisted in terror. The overwhelming energy of this strike carried an undeniable aura of death. They realized with chilling clarity—if that strike hit them, they would die.
Until today, Temujin Lei had never considered Amalia’s strength to surpass his own. But now, his confidence shattered like glass under a hamr.
Too strong. Too overwhelmingly strong.
It wasn’t just Amalia’s strength—it was the power of the Eighth Slash of the Eight Gods Blade.
No, it’s not losing to her. It’s the blade. The blade is what I can’t withstand.
The thought clawed at his pride, convincing him that he wasn’t defeated by Amalia but by the Eternal One Sect’s own Eight Gods Blade, the technique that had eluded their grasp for years.
Sect Leader Mao, closest to the strike, imdiately moved to shield Temujin Lei and Seonho Ming. As he faced the power of the Eighth Slash head-on, an uncontrollable glint of excitent flickered in his eyes.
So, it’s true! This girl really possesses the complete Eight Gods Blade. Our suspicions were right all along. When the Elder Yah h left the Eternal One Sect, he must have already perfected the Eighth Slash!
Excitent quickly turned to awe—and then to dread.
He had never imagined that Amalia could not only possess the Eighth Slash but also unleash it. According to the Elder Yah h’ speculations, the Eighth Slash wielded the power to shake heaven and earth.
Now, standing before it, Sect Leader Mao felt its devastating power firsthand. It was strong—so strong that he, too, felt a sliver of danger from it.
This girl must be eliminated.
The thought burned into his mind.
On Mystic Void Continent, only the Eternal One Sect was worthy of holding the complete Eight Gods Blade.
Amalia’s strength exceeded everyone’s expectations. Even though she had previously defeated Jiheon Yang outside the Path of All Immortals, few of them had taken her seriously at the ti.
A cultivator at the peak of the Nascent Soul stage—even after breaking through to the early of the Body Formation stage—still seed too weak in their eyes.
But now, her rapid progression in cultivation stunned them, and her combat prowess, unaffected by her swift advancent, silenced any doubts.
Today, she had proven herself capable of standing against a sect leader single-handedly.
Even those who were not directly in the path of her blade could feel the overwhelming and violent destructive force it carried.
Sect Leader Mao had no choice but to admit it—this young woman was an extraordinary genius.
Even Temujin Lei, with all his mastery of the Eight Gods Blade, couldn’t unleash its full potential.
If Temujin Lei attempted the Eighth Slash, it wouldn’t achieve the sa power.
And for this very reason, Sect Leader Mao concluded: this girl must be eliminated.
The next instant, the residual force of their clash sent both of them flying.
Amalia staggered back more than ten ters, while Sect Leader Mao only retreated a single step. Yet, there was no trace of satisfaction on his face.
He stared at the torn sleeve of his robe, his expression dark.
Amalia’s Eighth Slash was indeed formidable, far exceeding his expectations. As a sect leader, he hadn’t regarded her as a threat—but to his astonishnt, she had managed to injure him.
This realization fueled his determination. Before Amalia could recover from her retreat, Sect Leader Mao vanished.
"Sect Leader Mao, don’t go too far. If Amalia is hard, your Eternal One Sect may not be able to bear the consequences," Tan Kai said sharply, his eyes gleaming as he struck out with a powerful palm.
Elder Wong from the Eternal One Sect countered with his own strike, scoffing, "Tan Kai, it was your junior who attacked first, showing no respect for her elders. Our sect leader rely intended to teach her a lesson—why exaggerate the consequences?"
Their clash reverberated in the air, creating a resounding hum as the shockwave spread thousands of ters.
"It seems the Eternal One Sect is determined to fight today," Tan Kai said coldly. "Very well. Let entertain you."
With that, his figure blurred, and he appeared behind Amalia, sending her to the others for protection.
"Elder Wang, Huasheng, take a few others and spar with Mao Baobao and his n. Let’s ensure they don’t underestimate the Green Lotus Sect," Tan Kai commanded.
Elder Wang sighed and cupped his hands. "Understood, Sixth Elder."
"We obey, Sixth Elder," Peak Master Huoyan and Peak Master Bon replied without hesitation.
Amalia tried to charge forward again, but the group quickly restrained her. This was a battle between elders—if she joined, her cultivation at the middle of the Deity Transformation stage would make her more likely to get caught in the crossfire.
Amalia finally cald down when she heard Kenny Lin coughing. She rushed to his side imdiately.
"How are you now?" she asked anxiously.
Kenny Lin spat out another mouthful of black blood. His energy remained dim, but as he adjusted, a faint black essence that had been clinging weakly to the Yin-Yang Pearl began to stir.
Slowly, the essence rged with the pearl, releasing a stream of pure energy.
At first, it trickled like a small creek. Over ti, it grew into a roaring river, surging with waves of power. Wherever it flowed, the destructive energy from the black sun receded, as though facing its natural nesis.
The slower-moving black energy was engulfed and dissipated entirely upon contact with the surge.
"It’s repairing itself," Kenny Lin said as he sat cross-legged. "If the Yin-Yang Pearl hadn’t already been restored in the Immortal Spring, this would have been a serious problem."
