Chapter 935: Chapter 513 It seems like we scared her_2 Chapter 935: Chapter 513 It seems like we scared her_2 The Purple Skeleton Titan found a pile of Thunderbolt Javelins in the warehouse of the Goddess of Redemption, but those were not the real Thunderbolt Javelins; they were disposable and would disappear after being thrown.

The true Thunderbolt Javelin, according to the Thunder Titan, was condensed from the Thunder Power and would return after being thrown, just like the one in Ange’s hand.

The sparks beca more nurous, and quickly ford a ball of lightning. Ange grasped it again, and a six- to seven-ter-long iron javelin reappeared in his hand.

“It can co back after being thrown? No need to pick it up? That’s amazing,” Negris exclaid.

That’s how amazing it was, Ange let go, and the iron javelin imdiately shrunk into a ball of lightning. This ti, Ange gave it a fierce squeeze, and the ball of lightning dispersed, leaving his palm completely empty when he opened it again.

“You put it away? Where did it go?” Negris asked in surprise.

Ange pointed at his head. The Thunderbolt Javelin was stored in his soul in a very magical way; he could draw it out whenever he wished it with just a thought.

Just as Negris was about to ask sothing else, Ange suddenly turned his head to look in the direction of the mountain ridge. Abuke was rapidly floating toward them, with Griffin following behind, her expression complex as she watched Ange and the others.

When they got closer, Negris said sowhat awkwardly, “Griffin, I’m sorry for causing such a commotion. I hope it didn’t frighten your people.”

Griffin pursed her lips, hesitated with conflict, and blurted out, “How will you compensate?”

Negris, Anthony, and Durken all froze, only Nevin smiled awkwardly on the side. This… this was too blunt, no wonder she could utter sothing like ‘are you here for a funeral.’

Anthony laughed and stepped forward, “Although the disturbance was a bit too much, luckily, the altar was perfectly restored and activated. How would you like us to settle the restoration costs?”

“Ah? You’re paying?” Griffin was startled. “I didn’t ask you to fix it, nor is it my property.”

“Oh? Not your property? Then forget it. We are taking the artifacts with us, my Lord, let’s dismantle,” commanded Anthony with a wave of his hand.

The Thunder Titan’s altar, capable of receiving ssages across a world, was indeed a treasure. They hadn’t wanted to leave it for Griffin in the first place, and luckily she was cooperating. Now, the altar was an ownerless object.

Ange nodded and looked at Durken.

Durken instructed, “First, dig a two-ter deep circular trench around the altar.”

Ange looked at the Little Zombie.

The Little Zombie imdiately armored up a hoe and started digging. It was like an oversized mud mixer, tossing dirt seven or eight ters high, buzzing forward, and soon it had dug a two-ter deep trench around the altar, enclosing it.

Upon reaching the bottom of the trench, Durken drew a Magic Array along the trench floor, then announced, “All set, it’s detached from the reinforcing structures; we can move it now.”

Ange put his hands on the altar and pressed down hard. Whoosh, the entire altar vanished, pressed by him into the Dinsional Space, leaving behind only a large circular pit.

Luckily he had a Dinsional Space, or else there was no way to store such large objects; it definitely wouldn’t fit in the Resting Camp, and moving it to the Divine Realm would require lifting it first, which was too much trouble.

Throughout the entire process, Griffin watched silently, with intense emotional fluctuations, apparently contemplating sothing, yet she made no move to interfere.

Abuke floated over, puzzled, and nudged her, asking quietly, “Didn’t you say you would seize the chance to provoke a fight with us? Now’s a good opportunity to provoke…”

Before he could finish, Griffin interrupted him anxiously, “When did I ever say such a thing? Don’t talk nonsense; there wasn’t any—you must have heard wrong.”

“Ah?” But that’s exactly what she said on the way back, it was impossible that he had heard wrong.

“No, no such thing, stop spouting nonsense,” Griffin denied in quick succession.

She would be mad to provoke them now; didn’t she see what these people had done? They nearly blew up the entire valley, and even the javelin from earlier had left her trembling with fear.

Only after Ange had put away the altar did Griffin ask, “Do you eat? I’ll have soone prepare food.”

The abruptness of the topic almost made Anthony lose his footing.

Now, everyone was certain that Griffin really didn’t know how to speak; she seed like a person with social anxiety, wracking her brain for topics of conversation but often leading to awkward silences.

Among those present, only Anthony and Nevin needed to eat, but in such a situation, they weren’t in the mood for food either. They would focus on completing the matter at hand first.

“You’ve seen the Stone Dragon. Did Abuke tell you our purpose here?” Anthony asked.

But Griffin answered a question with a question of her own, “What faction are you from? The Church of Light? Or the Undead Empire?”

Anthony gave her a aningful look and equivocated, “Our current mission is to rescue Your Majesty from the Annihilation Boundary.”

He did not directly declare their faction yet referred to the Undead King as “Your Majesty,” answering Griffin’s question while leaving much more room for interpretation, displaying the art of speech in one sentence.

However, Griffin apparently didn’t see the ‘art’ in it, and simply breathed a sigh of relief, assured that the Spirit Dragon Knights definitely stood with the Undead Empire, even though they were not subservient to the Empire.

Since they were all on the sa side, now they could talk, “What do you want?” Griffin asked.

“No, no, no, it’s not what we want. The situation is like this: we have co into possession of an unclaid Stone Dragon which needs a soul to animate it. Nevin is a good kid, so I thought of your Spirit Dragon Knights first; he said you might need a body, and that is why we ca,” Anthony explained.

Pausing for a mont, Anthony asked seriously, “What can you offer in return?”

Griffin’s expression shifted rapidly, her insubstantial face even seed to twist and deform before she finally spoke, “I don’t want that body anymore.”

Only after they had left the Dragon Tomb by about ten kiloters did Anthony suddenly realize, “I think we may have frightened her.”

Negris agreed, “That’s likely. I got the sense that she was like an Undead who doesn’t enjoy interacting with others, her way of speaking is so direct and erratic, maybe Ange frightened her.”

“Right, she must’ve been thinking: ‘These people are so powerful yet they are proactively offering to give a body, what are they really after? Do they have ulterior motives? Never mind, never mind, it’s too confusing, too annoying. I don’t want it,'” Durken hypothesized.

“On the way back, she was still interested in the body, saying she wanted to challenge you to a fight to see who would beat whom, but she denied saying anything like that after eting you, probably scared for real,” Abuke comnted.

Seeing Ange already starting to cultivate in the Dinsional Space, Negris couldn’t hide his frustration and raised his voice, “You scared her, do you hear that?!”

Ange nodded his head.

Anthony and Durken burst into laughter, “Good, good, just frightened her. If the Lord had chatted with her, she probably would have been angered as well.”

Imagining the scene, Negris laughed as well, but after his laughter, he couldn’t help but worry again, “So what do we do with this Dragon Corpse? How about it, Abuke, why don’t you just stop reincarnating as a Dragon Soul Warrior and stay a proper Undead Giant Dragon in your body?”

Abuke shook his head resolutely.

Suddenly, Ange spoke, “Alive, resurrect.”

The unexpected suggestion confused everyone except for Negris, who after a mont’s thought, inhaled sharply, “You an, transfer a consciousness into it and resurrect it as a living Giant Dragon? Like White Throat Naeli? No, like Black Face?”

Ange nodded.

On the Eternity Road, Ange’s original form moved, turning around and arching his body, emitting a Soul howl, sending a wave of information with his howl to all souls with Soul Contact across the planes.
