Chapter 925: Chapter 507: We Won’t Wrong a Good Person Chapter 925: Chapter 507: We Won’t Wrong a Good Person Little Dragon returned ho and witnessed a scene that nearly made his head explode.

The landlord’s servants, a group of fierce-looking n, were dragging his dying mother out of their dilapidated house and throwing her onto the dirt road. Then, they shouted loudly to the people who were peeping around:

“The Black Claw family has been behind half a year on their grain rent. The benevolent Lord Landlord has not pushed for collection until now. But this Black Claw family is ungrateful. They don’t tend to their fields diligently and are always absent, god knows where they waste their ti.”

“The Lord Landlord is kind. When little Black Claw ca to borrow money, the Lord didn’t chase him away. Instead, he lent him six silver coins, with an interest rate of six percent per month, just six percent, mind you, oh, six percent per month. The Lord has been good enough to them, but this ungrateful Black Claw family missed the deadline by three days and didn’t co to repay the debt, despicable and detestable.”

“Today, I’m acting on the steward’s orders to evict the tenant farr Black Claw and his family and to take possession of their shabby old house. I hope nobody else follows their example, or else the Lord’s rcy will turn into Thunder!”

Having finished shouting, the servant looked around fiercely. The tenants who t his gaze cowered and bowed their heads.

The servant was quite pleased with this effect. Usually, he was the one cowering and being subservient to the landlord’s family. When did he ever get to enjoy others’ fear of him? This gave him the delusion that he was like a ‘landlord’ himself.

Just like so fellows in the Comrce Guild who deal with human resources, when they hire a lot of people, they start feeling like they’re the boss of the Guild.

However, his false illusion was quickly shattered by a voice. Old bachelor John cursed angrily:

“You childless cretins, you think we should be grateful for your six silver coins with six percent interest? Little Black borrowed money to treat his mother’s illness, and before she is cured, you co to drive them away. Are you bullying them because they have no one to stand up for them?”

“When Black’s father was still around, you kobolds only dared to sneak around the village with your tails between your legs. Now you dare to bully children and the sick, huh?”

“Six silver coins and you want to take their ancestral ho? A solid stone brick house handed down by the Black family ancestors, and for six silver coins? Have ratfolks eaten all of your consciences? Kind? Your Lord is an ogre that eats people without spitting out their bones, and you’re just his lackeys!”

“&¥…#*¥)&%…” Old bachelor John cursed, jumping up and down.

Being an old bachelor without parents or children, he had only survived thanks to Black’s father’s help. What did it matter if his life wasn’t much longer? He might as well curse to his heart’s content.

The servants exchanged glances. “Beat him up!” they shouted and charged at him viciously.

A tenant farr from a nearby house clenched his teeth and subconsciously grabbed a hoe by the wall. But before he could make a move, his hand was held back by his wife.

His wife was terrified, trembling as she grabbed his hand, shaking her head.

Looking at his wife, and then at his daughters peeking out from the house with naive, clueless faces, the tenant farr weakly released his grip.

Old bachelor John was knocked to the ground, and the servants beat him rcilessly. He quickly beca breathless from the beating.

“Ahhhh!!!” A furious roar erupted, and a small figure charged forward, slamming into one of the servants and knocking him down. He pinned the man to the ground and pounded his face with his small fists as if mad.

“It’s the Black Claw brat!” the other servants shouted. One of them reached out to pull him off, but to his surprise found the child impossible to move.

The servant being hamred by Little Dragon was terrified to realize that his attacker, now with bloodshot eyes and vertical, elliptical pupils, was breathing hot air from his nostrils, displaying an inhuman deanor.

The hands pinning him down were incredibly strong, and the punches landing on his face were imnsely heavy, nothing like those of an eleven- or twelve-year-old child.

He held his hands in front of his face, but Little Dragon continued to hamr his hands and face, causing stars to burst before his eyes.

The others, realizing they couldn’t pull him away, switched to punching and kicking, landing blows on Little Dragon’s thin and frail eleven- or twelve-year-old body.

Little Dragon, oblivious to it all, mutteringly repeated, “Without magic, without stealth, claws and teeth are weapons, scales are defense… We are the mighty Black Dragon, we are the fearless Dragonkin…”

As he chanted, fresh blood spurted out.

Regardless, Little Dragon kept smashing one of the servants, the one who had dragged his mother out and thrown her to the ground. There was only one thought in Little Dragon’s mind: survival was a question for later, he first needed to kill at least one of them.

In his rage, Little Dragon didn’t notice that his body montarily glowed, and most of his injuries healed. After healing, a thin layer of scales covered his skin.

Thus, the servant he pinned down was beaten to death. Bloodied, Little Dragon rose and charged at the second servant, tackling him to the ground.

The third servant, terrified, turned and ran away, screaming.

Little Dragon beat the second servant to death too, and then had no energy left to stand up.

He was only eleven or twelve years old after all, his body still developing, and the punches and kicks he had received caused severe damage. If not for the blessing left by Anthony, he wouldn’t have been able to kill even one person.

When the fleeing servant returned with three Leather Armored Swordsn, all they saw were the bodies of two dead servants and three people barely clinging to life.

The three arriving swordsn were an insult to the term itself, rely thugs wielding swords and wearing leather armor. But such force was enough to intimidate the tenants, who quickly hid inside their hos and bolted their doors.
